Emma walked with Connor into town, trying to think of the things that normal people do. It's funny, I've never been to a movie theater before, or an arcade, or to a restaurant! she realized as she stopped in her tracks with her eyes wide. What am I doing with my life? AM I NOT NORMAL!? she screamed in her head as she put her hands up in the air. Her thoughts were silent for a second before she came to a conclusion. Oh yeah, I'm not normal huh? she thought with a smile as her eyes went spacey.

Connor simply blinked, watching Emma's actions with an amusedly risen eyebrow. In all honesty, he hadn't been to a movie theatre in years. Haven't went to the movies since Nicole was around. A question almost randomly came to mind from the thought. "Hey, what type of movies are you usually into?"

Emma looked up at Connor's face and got stars in her eyes as she thought about her favorite types of movies. Action and comedy! she exclaimed with excitement as she jumped up and down, the scenes from the Batman Begins movie running through her head.

Connor smiled and gave a soft chuckle. "Awesome." Funny thing about Connor was that he had a soft spot for Romantic comedies. As feminine as it was, it was true. That didn't mean he didn't enjoy a good action flick though, oh no! James Bond movies rule, for example. He assured himself with the thought.

Then I guess we're going to go see a movie right? What movie? she asked as she began to skip towards town, excited for her first movie going trip.

Connor shrugged and inclined his head upward, staring toward the sky for a moment. "Dunno. I guess we'll see when we get there." He leveled his head's incline to the ground again, unaware of what movies were even out.

Emma nodded and walked the rest of the way to the town with Connor in silence. When they finally made it to the theater, they stood before the marquee, lost in all the movies to choose from.

Connor stood with his head tilted to the right in confusion, eyebrows furrowed slightly and making wrinkles in the space between his eyebrows. After a shrug of the shoulders, he turned his head toward Emma. "Take y'er pick."

Emma furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, not sure of what movie to pick. That's when she saw it. It was like the glow around it was heavenly and screamed, "Pick me! Pick me!" She pointed at the marquee that said The Dark Knight and began jumping up and down excitedly. Batman! she mouthed with a smile.

Connor grinned and walked to the ticket booth. After setting his right crutch against the glass, he retrieved his wallet from his back pocket (Having put it there as they had walked) and layed enough cash for two tickets under the slit for money. "Two tickets to Batman, please." [[Sorry I took so long to post. I have therapy every tuesday now.]]

Emma nearly peed her pants when they sat in the red seats of the theater. She was beyond excited, she was ecstatic. Batman was one of her all time favorite things because first of all, he was sexy, second of all, he saves lives and lives a regular one of his own, and lastly, the last movie she saw was absolutely fantastic. It didn't help that Christian Bale was one of her all time favorite actors as well, ranking up there with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. Emma turned to Connor and gave him a huge smile before resting her head on his shoulder to watch the previews.

Ai the Fallen Annora was shocked. Slowly she slipped down the wall next to his room and just sat there. She wasn't going to leave. Not with the first fight with her new boyfriend. I'm not leaving until we fix this. She thought to herself. So she sat there. Waiting for him to come out of his room. || Repost ||

Connor smiled and took a seat next to Emma, respectively. While he wasn't the type for superhero movies usually, any action movie was good. Especially with that badass car they have! I would die for that! He nodded in appreciation at the mere thought. Seeing Emma's smile out of the corner of his eye, he turned his head slightly and returned the smile. A light blush powdered his cheeks from the physical contact, but he smiled warmly regardless. Unable to help himself, he slipped his right arm around her shoulders.

Finally, the movie started, and Emma couldn't keep her mouth shut through the whole thing. She laughed when the Joker made the pencil disappear. She cried when Rachel died and Bruce Wayne was left to think that Rachel was going to wait for him, when she was truly going to go out with Harvey instead. And lastly, she was literally speechless when the movie ended. Her eyes were wide and her heart wouldn't stop pounding, it was the single best movie she had ever seen.
