William the Conqueror You have no idea friend. Imagine a volcano whose lava tubes are flowing magma through them at alarming rates. It is only a matter of time before that magma finds the surface. Luckily, that time is soon.
That sounds hot. /pun intended.

Not really, here's a quick summation:
New Human Spectre sent to capture a known conspirator in direct relation to the death of Commander Shepard. Upon reaching Dr. Hayes the mission is complicated both by the presence of Rachni as well as Hayes' reluctance to hand over his life's work to the Spectre and walk off with him to a certain death by the hands of the Council. At this point Hayes is leaving his ship with all of his research as well as his VI to be taken back to the Council. Easy enough?

MAYBE. Especially since we might be deleting the prequel and forgetting it ever happened.

Isn't it though? I love having them in their own subforum!
Also, we will not be deleting the prologue. Turns out we made the story work perfectly after all thanks to a certain someone's efforts. -cough- Ian -cough-

I still say you're a douche bag, Bill. Don't ******** this guild over, a lot of my blood and sweat went into it.

Mike, take it easy. I know you're not used to being back in MERP, but you have to remember that it's Bill's show now. You also have to remember that he and I both love Mass Effect just as much if not more so than Halo. So don't come here to insult us and/or make threats against us. It's in good hands.
And Bill's post is perfectly reasonable. I started the initial story idea for the prologue, I came up with a way to stay with canon, and I drove the story forward. You did the basic building, but then you were drawn elsewhere. And what Bill's referring to WILL be implemented soon enough, just as soon as we get the proper story going. Of course, I'd like us all to meet in Xbox Live or on Skype for that. At the very least I'd like to have a discussion over PMs about what the next step is.

Ian has a point (first paragraph).
I only got sick of Mass Effect because I didn't like the game play...
The story was the s**t though and the graphics...
I did clock the game though...

In a manner of speaking. The guild used to be heavily active around a year or so ago, maybe even longer, I can not quite recall properly. Suffice to say it lost most of it's active members and was quite dead for a while. It wasn't until recently that the Guild has begun to resurge and is now on it's way to being an extremely active Guild once again. Hopefully by tomorrow the prologue will be over and the main storyline will begin. Feel free to build a character and, pending approval, join in on the prologue. Certainly your character would not be in the action, likely on the Citadel or an errant ship for the Council, but you are none-the-less invited to join in on the fun!
