"I hope you can manage her on your own, Esole," Kiae said with a sympathetic tone and grimace. "Which means I will investigate the scenes of the attacks with Ethin and Haidar in the meantime," she continued. While feeling sorry that the Green had to deal with the noblewoman, Kiae was in no way about to offer her assistance in the matter. "I'll have my hands full keeping her away from Ethin at this rate," she thought sourly.

Esole nodded with a sigh, exasperated that she was being reduced to asking that sickening noblewoman for assistance. She rose from her seat and surveyed those around her. "Good luck today. Hopefully it won't be as terrible for you all as it will be for me with that bloody woman," Esole said with a scowl. She turned on her heel and departed from the inn. Esole wasn't entirely sure where Rosalyn lived but she was certain she could acquire the information from those who lived in the wealthier parts of the city. She made her way down the street, face calm with just the slightest touch of her current anger.

Kiae rose from the table as well, gathering her skirts as she headed out of the inn. Haidar remained directly behind her the entire time, a talent she found a bit disconcerting coupled with his intimidating appearance. "We'll go to see the place Esole was attacked first, since that incident was more severe," Kiae decided, quickly finding her direction and striding down the street. "Mostly because of Ethin," she added to herself with a small smile. "I was informed of the details by Esole Sedai's brothers earlier. I'm not sure I understand their purpose in attacking you or her," Haidar remarked.
