Kidou Shikaku (( Speaking of which... does the guild have an artist I can talk to or do you guys just get stuff from freelancers? ))
Kidou entered the training grounds, bored of doing nothing over the past few hours. Ugh, I need something to do, he thought as he lightly touched the handle of his zampakuto, I wish you would speak to me already. He thought looking down at his blade. He thought his spirit would have talked to him by now but he guessed it wouldn't until he was ready to release his blade. "Sigh." ((Acually, you can go to the OOC threads and there's Neo Ninja's Walk in Clinic, she's got God Like art but she has a long list.))

xxP i k a Seriously what had she been thinking? Hikari felt bad now that she probably crushed Robin's reputation. Well that didn't really matter to her, but she still felt bad. It was just. . . He was so adorable and she hated hugs and. . . Too many thoughts at once. She thought sullenly. Maybe she shouldn't be training. . . After all she'd just had a drink, what if she was tipsy and passed out?
Currently Hikari felt perfectly fine. I'm just crazy, that's why I worry so much. She thought looking around the training grounds. Well she might as well train, what else was she suppose to do? She was in the training grounds. Her hand clasped onto the red hilt of the Zanpacto on her back. Amie strolled into the training grounds. It was very nostalgic to be coming here to teach, instead of to learn. Amie spotted the new redhead, and smiled. "Hey there, firetop! Are you ready for your first training exercise? Amie decided on a Kido based exercise. It might be best for her first lesson.

Hikari still had her hand grazing over the red hilt of her Zanpacto. A voice made her hand drop from her back, and made her head thrust towards the person. Vice Captain Amie Koigokoro. Firetop? Her brow quirked at the name. Did people have to get on about her hair? Yes it was the color of a firetruck, and yet people never thought about maybe it bothered her that people said things like that.
Hikari didn't speak up on the subject. Instead she turned herself fully around to face her vice captain. Her green eyes skimmed over her quickly. Her Vice Captain. . . Was shorter than her? It was hard to believe that someone was actually shorter than 5'2", but Amie seemed to have outdone her by an inch or two. Wow, was it just her or were a lot of people on this team really short?
Then the question came upon if she were ready. It was actually quite simple to answer and as she stared at her Vice Captain she broke into a wolfish grin.
" Why else would I be here if I weren't in fact ready?" Hikari's tone wasn't harsh instead it had a playful side to it, making her seem more childish and small than ever. Her round emerald green eyes glinting at Amie.
" Of course I'm ready, " she finished.

Amie raised any eyebrow entertained. "Alright then, firetop, this way." She rested her hands behind her back, supporting her head in a layed back manner. She led the new recruit over by the training dummies, that this squad somehow managed to keep in large supplies. She wondered where they imported these things from, because it seemed they destroyed each one of the during every practice.
Amie let her arms drop, and swayed them for a moment, before holding her palm out in front of her. "I'm going to teach you a cool Kido today. Get into a position you find suitable for channeling your Reitsu, and relax your body. Reitsu's a flow, don't fight against it's current." Amie focused the Reitsu to her palm with ease, let it build up for a moment, then ushered the words. "The command is....Hado number 31, shot of red fire!" The red orb of heat shot from her hand like a bullet, leaving a gaping whole in the dummy's chest parallel to herself. Amie swiped her hands together, and blew the smoke from her palm, for dramatic effect. "There's an incantation for it, but I believe those only slow you down. Although the incantation does make it slightly more powerful, it's not needed. Let's see you give it a try!~"

Firetop? Again? Hikari ignored it best she could, following Amie towards the dummies. The dummies were somewhat new looking, as if there had been new ones put up right away. Probably, since a lot of people took training seriously and probably took everything out on the poor dummies. For some reason the redhead couldn't help but stare at them like a real being. . .Pft! What was she thinking exactly? She turned her eyes towards Amie.
What was she learning today. Kido. That sounded somewhat better than loafing around in the training grounds, ok maybe that was a lot better. "---and relax your body. Reitsu's a flow, don't fight against it's current." Hikari blinked and nodded, she didn't really need to spare any words at the moment as the vice captain demonstrated. It went perfectly fine making it look a lot easier than it probably was. That was what make Hikari think it was easy.
"There's an incantation for it, but I believe those only slow you down. Although the incantation does make it slightly more powerful, it's not needed. Let's see you give it a try!~"
' No incantation? But they're so cool to say. . .' she moped helplessly in her mind. Hikari nodded towards Amie, closing her deep emerald green eyes she focused her Reitsu to her palm, letting all stay at ease. " Hado number 31, shot of red fire," now Hikari expected something big, but instead something flew off her hand daintily, landing on the ground in a black fluff. What was it? Dust? The little black blob wasn't really something that made her . . . Proud.
" What is that? "

Amie gave a sympathetic look, and walked over. She nudged Hikari's leg out a bit, and raised her arm slightly. "Remember, this is fire we're dealing with. Push your Reitsu harder, you're not giving it enough kick. Try building it up longer, if you need the time to manifest it better."
"It may take you a few tries, but give it a couple more tries. Amie gave a comforting smile. she remembered her sorry attempt at the kido, a few months prior. It took some practice, but Hikari was bright, and she'd grasp it after a bit more training.

Soot, it was a stupid little soot ball, of course Hikari wasn't suppose to be upset, but it kind of took a knick off her ego having her first attempt fail miserably. As Amie moved her position Hikari held the urge to move back into her more comfortable position. Seriously, fire was not her element and yet here she was trying at best. Of course this was going to take a few tries as Hikari held her palm out.
"Hado number 31, shot of red fire," with that she made enough effort to send a small ball of flames four centimeters ahead of her. Wow, I suck, Hikari stomped on the poor little ball that had died down and turned into soot. Stupid fire.
Hikari took stance again her eyes hard as she glared at the dummy. "Hado number 31, shot of red fire!" pushing her Reitsu harder, building it for a bit long before it released. It formed a ball of flames and yet it didn't fly from her hand like she expected it too. Instead the ball sat in her hand, and it took her a moment to realize her hand was unprotected.
" Iyaaa~! My hand's on fire!" she shrieked waving her hand frantically in the air, eyes clenched shut. She was smart. . . But lacked common sense.

Amie blinked in...shock. Her hand was on fire! She had seen people who caught there clothes on fire, but never before had she seen this happen. Normally, kido couldn't harm you until it left it's starting position. But she had let it build so long, it backfired. Amie leaped over to her side, and slapped her two hands around Hikari's. "Don't flail, gah!" Amie's hands glowed a gentle purple, as she attempted to smother the fire with her Reitsu. It singed with a soft hiss, and Amie stood there for a moment. She turned over the poor girls hand. Nothing serious, but it might have been if nothing were done. "Umm."Perhpas Kido is not her strong point. Fefnir can't use it at all...So maybe it doesn't matter
Amie scratched her head. "If you want, we can keep trying. I noticed you cut off your Reitsu supply when you think your done. Maybe if you keep supplying it until your truly finished, the charge may work better. Other wise the orb won't go anywhere, becuase you stop it's supply to soon.
Or...we could try something else. "

Hikari was quickly assisted by Amie as the fire didn't take long for the VC to distinguish. Don't flail? What else would she have done, when your hand is on fire you tend to freak out a bit, but then again your feeding it more oxygen and it is possible for the fire to become bigger. At least her hand wasn't made of wood. [Like Captain Knuckles!]
"If you want, we can keep trying. I noticed you cut off your Reitsu supply when you think your done. Maybe if you keep supplying it until your truly finished, the charge may work better. Other wise the orb won't go anywhere, becuase you stop it's supply to soon. "
"Well actually I would like to keep trying, but since I suck at things like this is might take me forever. The only thing I'm good at is being fast, other than that I'm physically weaker than most people," she concluded. Which is why she had to learn this Hado, it would add onto her chances of winning fights. "...Well I mean we could trying something else."
