  D-Fly had been gone for hours and Ajax was getting restless. How long did it take for a group of lionesses to go hunting? Well, some of them were first timers, but even still they should have been back by now. The massive lion needed something to take his attention off of his hunger, and he figured hit other mate KC was in the same boat if not more so. Rolling over to her he pushed her a little bit with a good humored smirk on his face. "You remember when we first met? We had a good time... Lots of fun.. But having kids has made things too serious..." In a bit of a goofy mood the stood up and grabbed her scarf in his mouth and pulled a bit for her to get up. She had no choice in the matter..
KC had been asleep since the other lionesses left. She hadn't even known they were gone as they left without her but as she woke up more her stomach reminded her she was supposed to go on a hunt. Lifting her head up she looked around and realized she and Ajax were alone everyone had already left. 'Darned D-Fly always does this to me.' She thought to herself then she was jolted out of her thoughts as Ajax pushed her. She turned her gaze over to him as he spoke and a grin came over her face. "That's true... What are you doing?!" She said in surprise as he pulled on her scarf forcing her to get up or get choked.
Ajax grinned and pulled a little more until she stood up, "Come on... Let's go for a walk.." A walk to the river.. It had been a long time since they went to the waterfall that hid their cave from the rest of the little pride that they had resided in. Ajax had a little bit of a kiddish play to him as they neared the water. "Lets go for a swim.." With that he pushed her down into the water, laughing.
KC stood up with more a curiosity than anything and followed Ajax. She wasn't sure where they were walking to but she did enjoy walking with Ajax alone. He was the calm partner of the relationship. As they neared the river she had to smile. The river was always so lovely and so clear too. When they neared the water she stopped at the edge and looked over at Ajax as he spoke. "A swi... AH!" She screamed as she was pushed in and her head went underwater. As quickly as she got her bearings she swam to the surface and took a deep breath of air.
By the time KC had resurfaced Ajax was already in the air to land next to her. "Wow, it's been a while.." Truth be told the last time he had been in the water had been when he was with his beautiful mate. Expecting to be injured he backed away with a sheepish grin on his face, what he did not expect was to be so taken by how she looked. The water rolled off her pelt while her mane laid wet framing her face. Instantly he fell in love with her all over again, which was evident by the way he was staring at her. A goofy- happy grin spread wide across his face.
KC quickly turned her face away as Ajax caused a large splash that sprayed more water on her. "Ajax!" She cried out and giggled as she looked back over at him. She couldn't help but giggle again as she looked at Ajax. His head look so little without his mane fluffed out around him. It was an adorable look for him and it made her giggle like a giddy little cub who'd gotten noticed by her first crush. Under her wet white fur her skin flushed a light pink until she realized he was staring at her then her skin went to a bright red. Under his gaze right then she felt even more bashful than the shyest cub in the land. "What?"
The pinkening of her skin was quite evident with her pelt being wet. Confident she wouldn't dislocate his man bits from the rest of his body he neared closer to her, remembering what it was like when he first fell in love with her. Lifting up one paw he traced her jawline looking at her through intense eyes which expressed all of his emotions without a word. It was a nice change from how he had been for so long since Halloween, stern and freaked out. "I love you..." His words were gruff and low toned but very serious.
Her ears perked as he moved closer and her heart quickened. She felt almost overwhelmed by the emotions coursing through her. As he placed his paw upon her jawline she gazed into his eyes and the intensity coming from them sent shivers down her spine. His words even caught her by surprise as he hadn't said those words to her since before Halloween when something went wrong and still she knew not what. She gazed at him for a few moments soaking in the pleasurable emotions of the moment before she leaned towards him and slowly licked his cheek. "I love you too."
A smile came across his face as if he was relieved that she did still love him. Halloween sure rocked his world into doubting many things he held true. Wrapping his front paws around her he pulled her close, still using his back to keep the two afloat and pressed his nose to her. The feeling of their bodies so close together caused several emotions to coarse through his own body, own of which being relief. Mentally he thanked the strong D-Fly for leaving him alone, for their relationship had not tarnished in the least, it was him and KC that needed to be replenished. And so it was being done.
KC had hit the nail of his other emotion that was pushing though his body right on the head. With a little smirk he followed her, staying a bit behind so he could admire her finely tuned body with every stroke. Once he got to the shore there was no words spoken, there was only actions. The action of love making.
After they had finished Ajax knew he was ready now to tell KC what had happened during Halloween. Would she think he was insane as he did at first (and still may a little) or accept his words as the truth that they were and look at him no differently?

I'm not exactly sure how much white space you wanted in the cert, so I filled it as of now. If you guys decide you want to actually see the heart shape (though, I think the lion would end up covering it), I'll go back and fix 'em :3
