The blacksmith folded his arms and looked at him squarely. He began to tap his foot.

"Anyways..." Vasyly said, and began to look at the wares on display. "I'm looking for a good scythe that I can use as a weapon. Do you have anything like that?"

"Look, this is a weapon store, not a garden department. Nobody seriously uses a scythe as a weapon." The blacksmith said.

Vasyly frowned, and slapped a bag of silver coins on the table. "Can you, or can you not make a scythe? Let the money decide whether or not I can use one to hurt people." He said. "If you can't have respect for me, you're going to make a lot less money from me, plain and simple." He turned to Demeter. "What do you think? Could I use a scythe as a weapon?"

Demeter turned from her inspection to Vasyly. She nodded. "Well, sure, anyone can use it as a weapon, there've been a few people from my old village who did. In fact, scythes are excellent choices, especially if you're a long-range fighter. The perfect archs make a nice, clean cut through your enemy." She made an arch with her finger for emphasis.

"So trust me, they do a lot more than cutting down weeds, my good man. I would think one in your profession would know that, unless they don't normally use scythes in such a manner around here," she said, turning towards the blacksmith. Demeter moved up so she was next to Vasyly at the counter.

"And I agree with my friend, by the way. Keep giving your willing, paying customers an attitude and you can bet that business will most likey turn out for the worst," she smiled.

The blacksmith took the bag of gold as set it under the counter. He turned, and began to work on the weapon. "What kind of metal?" He said.

"Mithril." Vasyly said. He ran around and handed the blacksmith his dagger. "I want it like this weapon." He said.

"Got it. I'll have that done in an hour or so. How about you miss, any orders?" The blacksmith said.

Demeter looked up, then nodded. "Yes, I would like a longbow, with a set of arrows, made of strong cedarwood, or the best type you have, if you please." She then looked down at the little pouch she carried around her waist and dug through it. "So, how much will that be?"

"I have bamboo, if you would like that. I also have cedar-wood. That'll be 3 silver for cedar-wood arrows, or 4 silver for the bamboo. The bow will be 5 silver." The blacksmith said.

Demeter nodded. "Alright, then. I guess I'll go with the cedar wood." She dug into her coin pouch and took out 8 silver. "There you go!" The elf said as she placed the mony on the counter. "Um, about how long will it take, if you don't mind me asking," she said with a smile.

The blacksmith thought for a moment. "Give me two hours." He said.

"Okay, thank you mister." Vasyly said, and gave a small bow. He turned to Demeter. "So, what takes two hours to do?" He said.

Demeter looked up for a moment, then shrugged. "I don't know. Um, I guess we could either visit the main castle, or explore the rest if the city." Just as she said thatm she heard a pleasant sound from the corner of the shop. Apparently a street performer was open for business playing music on a violin in exchange for some earnings.

"Hm, that man is quite talented," she said quietly to herself.

Seifer found himself at the end of his ground journey at the edge of the docks. As he stood by the edge of the pier, his units were preparing a junker for travel along with the ship's own crew. Looking down at the rippling water below, Seifer clenched his teeth and gripped his gauntlet tight enough to stress the leather. Water was one of the single most aggravating things to be around. The smell of the sea, the sound of the waves, the color of the cascades, the rime texture of the water, and that salty taste in the air; it disgusted every one of his senses.

As the waves settled slightly, Seifer noticed his reflection faintly. This brought to his attention the need for a disguise. Being dressed as an officer in fire's military complete with bright red armor, was begging to get caught should the water nation's troops inspect their ship. Resigned to his fate as a temporary seaman, Seifer sighed and turned to approach the ramp to his temporary traveling home. Greeted by one of his units, who was now sporting a deckhand's getup, Seifer nodded and held a brief conversation with the man before giving a brief glance back over the water. The two boarded the ship only minutes before it slowly set sail from the pier of capital city.

Kujaku returned to the market which was becoming increasingly familiar from his days spent so far from the separated. After finding a suitable open space to reconvene with his new war band, Kujaku turned to face the rest of the line with some purpose in his voice. "Winds say, Flame spread to seas, seek to consume distant land." After a brief nod, Kujaku decided to clarify. "We watch shorelines. Fire want take to sea, we intercept at beach.", he declared as he pointed toward the horizon.

"Great, that leaves a couple thousand miles of coastline.", Hrothgar grumbled as he folded his arms. It seemed like Kujaku's plan was incredibly abstract to begin with, but unless he had something of an idea quickly, scanning that much coastline wasn't going to fly with him. "Well, wait..." It had occurred to Hrothgar something important to severely narrow down the search. "There's only so many ports they can use out of the few that are actually present on the mainlands."

Keeping up with the giants wasn't particularly difficult for a wilderness traveling scout like Mayura, but the glances and nervous faces focused upon them was a bit distracting. She managed to catch most of the conversation Kujaku was starting, which was good since being left out of the plan would have been a hazard. Following on what Hrothgar had just stated, Mayura added in, "Yes, and only two of which are in fire territory." Looking back briefly, Mayura noticed Ciel was lagging behind a bit. To briefly change the subject while waiting Mayura asked indirectly, "What about the coronation? The new king should be crowned today."

Hrothgar shrugged indifferently at the notion of a new king. "Unless this 'new' king ends fire's occupation in Noytral Klar and delivers Seifer to us bound and gagged, I don't give a rats a**.", he said folding his arms. Returning to the topic of the plan, Hrothgar turned back toward Kujaku. "So are we going out to Flamma City or Magma Island?", Hrothgar asked, immediately shaking his head at the prospect of a long journey back into fire territory.

Kujaku folded his arms and nodded in agreement with Hrothgar's disinterest in the changing of heads the crown rests upon. Being not only from separated seg but of a race that wasn't commonly accepted in human society, the fate of the crown didn't make a big difference to him and was of very little interest. hearing of Hrothgar's suggestions of locations to head to, Kujaku shook his head. "Nm mh, we not go to fire territory. We go to Water. Easiest place for fire reach water, is islands south of Flamma City. We go to them. We lie and wait." He pointed and nodded.

Ciel had finally caught up and stopped to catch her breath as she waited beside Mayura. She couldn't help but be embarrassed that even Mayura had little trouble keeping up and she was left so far in the dust.

Mayura gave Ciel a pat on the back as she faced Hrothgar and gave him a cross glare, "You really don't, care about anything but yourself do you? Who's going to look after princess Stel's safety at the coronation? It certainly seems more important a task then staking out a potential attack by fire in foreign territory."
