"very well" miiro said trying very hard to be the diplomat "does the river clan have a militia of some sort?" He knew River clan was mainly a merchant clan but, perhaps they had some form of makeshift army

Rhea crossed her arms across her chest. "Wars are for foolish humans and monsters...." She paused, moving her hands to her hips. "However, I will not let my clan fall..... I'll put something together." Rhea looked away, mumbling something to her brother. "Take care of yourself.."

"I see, well war has found us...so this monster will defend you" Miiro said smiling before turning away to walk north-east. His sword making a slight chinking sound as he walked.

"Wars make all humans and creatures turn to monsters. We are of no exception." Reiki commented to his sister, but he smiled. "I will. You should hurry off too. If you get hurt, I'll become a bigger monster." After patting Rhea's head, he headed off, following Miiro.

"Actually, considering the situation now, laying some traps would be good. Need to stall time for people to evacuate." Reiki replied, looking around if the distance is already good enough to plant the seeds for snap traps.
"I may as well get those trees to grow now. It'll take time, but I'll try."

"Why not?" Reiki smiled, agreeing with the idea. He doesn't need to use his plant seeds, but the plants, trees and the roots around them is enough.

As Miiro was doing his job, Reiki was doing his. He called upon the vines, which grew on the ground, to make them slightly thinner, so that the enemies can easily fall into the pitfalls.
He also grow more trees, especially on the front part of the border, where the enemies may have difficulty entering the forest. That way, the soldiers or whatever it is from the Dark Clan will come in small numbers when entering the River Clan.
Reiki found it easy to deal with small groups at one time.

"okay that's enough" Miiro said kneeling down on the ground and placing his hand on the soil "i won't do that again, not for a long time" Miiro stood back up, his sword making a slight noise as it settled back into it's place on his back.

Reiki smiled. "I hope its the last time. More ever, if its not the land they are moving in, it'll be water or air. And there's no way we can put traps on either those."

Reiki looked up at the sky and sighed. "Well, what about our other comrades?" He was all ready to go towards the border and re-grow the trees before the Dark Clan move out. But Reiki was worried about the others as well.
"Should I send someone to find them?"

"Comrades?" Miiro looked puzzled "we have no idea when they'll attack, we may be waiting here for a very long time"
Miiro said stretching before plopping down on the ground, hi sword making a loud c***k sound as it split a rock as it slid into the dirt. "besides, would it be appropriate to call upon comrads to defend foreign soil? would that not insult the leaders of this clan?"
