hmm this spell seems interesting it says something about making lightning i have not seen one like this before it also says that i can chage the color of normal lightning im going to attempt it"
*says a bunch of words that only i can understand not like any one is near me to hear them anyways*
...
dang that didnt work at all maybe i should try again but first i will go see whats going on in the great hall
*gets up and heads to the great hall for some lunch*

*opens book*
*says some things in elven while doing some complicated wand movements*
"dam thats twice this spell has failed me what am i dong wrong i followed what the book said to do i said the words correctly but still nothing happens grrr this spell is annoying
ill try again after i do some thing else

"ok lets see i have played the lute enought o relax me so i should be able to cast this spell " james says to himself
tries for the third time to cast the lightning spell
*says some elven stuffs and does the wand movements*
grrr why isnt my spell working im getting tired of this spell
im going to look for a better spell
