Marketa felt someone looking at her, and turned her head to meet Sirius's eyes. "What?" she asked self-consciously, reaching up to feel for anything that may have landed on her face within the last five minutes.
Remus grinned at Wendy again, his facce starting to hurt from all the smiling and laughing. She was just really cute, he couldn't help it! "You're pretty funny, kiddo. We should hang out with you more often."

Wendy blushed severely. Wow. Virtually nobody one moment, buddy-buddy with the Marauders the next. Wendy Rivers, how do you do it?

Jen shook her head as she awoke from a daze. "Hey, I'm sorry everyone.. what did I miss?" She saw Remus' and Wendy's faces, red from laughing and felt that she missed a lot.

Remus smiled, noticing that Wendy was getting shy all of a sudden. "Excellent. I've got some connections that can get us Chocolate Frogs for really cheap...it's like a black market, but for candy and legal..." he pretended to fade off dreamily and stare into space.

"Fine then," said Remus airily, waving his wand discreetly. He pulled the conjured card out of his pocket with a flourish. "See?" He waved the card garishly under Sirius's nose, plastering a winning smile onto his face.

Remus wrinkled his brow at his friend. "What are you talking about, 'friends'?" he asked. "I've got three brothers, but I dunno who you're talking about." His confused look melted into a fond grin.

Wendy watched all of this with a gleeful smirk, looking very intrigued at the mention of the "black market" and even laughing aloud at the business card. Then Remus had referred to the Marauders as brothers, and it had taken every ounce of willpower that Wendy possessed not to break into a fangirl-esque "Aaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!" She hadn't quite been able to stop a girly little squirm, however. What could she say? That was just so - don't say it, Wendy girl - so so - don't say it - CUUUUUUUUTE!! - you said it...
