Methinks that even though you say it's answer is glaringly obvious in hindsight, the effort needed to get that far is too much for the average gaian's attention span.

edit: However, I plan on spending the next couple days in the word game forum, and specifically the "what does the sig of the AAY say about them?" thread to try and get as many people trying to figure it out as possible. ninja

Well I read through the stuff and it didn't make sense even after I had all the info in front of me. sweatdrop
Part of it is a lack of complete knowledge of the vocabulary used in it (like dubiety...) and a lack of will to look it up.
I'll come back to it.... later today (it's just after 1 AM) and get a better look at everything then, hopefully something'll click at that point.
