Sabin Duvert Raesha Sabin Duvert Query - I don't know if anyone here would even remotely know, but I'm looking for some way to get a hold of Artoki. I commissioned her IRL back in Dec, and haven't heard from her or seen her do anything online since Jan-Feb. I don't mind waiting at ALL for good art, I just get paranoid when I haven't heard from said artist and she's not responding to emails (she never really did, honestly) or read the PM I sent (especially when it's a decent amount of RL $$). Looks like she hasn't updated her DA account since December, so leaving her a note there wouldn't likely do any good.... Same goes with her seb site--not since December. neutral Yerg... yeah, I noticed about her website... I hadn't thought about DA note, but since it's been so long since she's been by there either I doubt it would do much good.... Maybe I'll try that if I haven't heard from her in a while longer, but a lot of artists get LOTS of DA notes/messages and don't read those either sweatdrop I guess I just hope... I don't really see Artoki as the kind of person that would run out on a commission.... Maybe she lost her internet connection/moved/got a new job/had a baby/fill in excuse of choice here..... whee ;;; Didn't she do some work for Drow Tales? Perhaps you could poke around at thier site and see if you can find word of her. 3nodding

The couple of times I Noted her about doing convention work she got back to me. It just took awhile. But yah, she's kinda dropped off the face of the net for awhile. Hmm. Well...you could always try looking her up? I dunno how effective that would be. But you've probably got her IRL name, no? That's a start. You could try searching for it online. (if not, I have it) See what somes up; I've gotten people's email addies and LJ accounts that way.
I haven't had much luck with rl commissions, personally. They always take months longer than planned...out of the three I've had, they all got extended due to life circumstances, which I don't mind as long as it gets done. It's just that after a year it's hard to plan in my budget...and sometimes the artist just poops out.

What did ya'll lose from the rollback? I lost my two favorite instabooby shirts (that's my name for them :3 They're the fitted maroon and fitted olive tops) and my blue panty/bra set sweatdrop gonk I bought back the blue bra. xD<3

I have the same problem Klody--I had a ton of pending trades for artwork I am waiting on....now the trades are gone and I have 200k extra! gonk I don't know who all this gold belongs to.....most of it has been sitting in the bank for many months, waiting for the artists to finish... sweatdrop

gonk PirateMiles Nope. All trades that were not confirmed before May 9th were erased. The only way to get them back is to start a new trade with the user you traded with before.

Except that mine is commissions going both ways! ;__; I think that headshot I was doing for you was 2.5k? I'd double check but your threads get so many posts, heheh.
