Ryu silently sheathed his sword. Practicing in the gym in secret before classes had always kept his skills sharp. But even he could not take the suspense. “What are the teachers doing?” he muttered to him self. Taking a book out of his robes titled “Advanced Magical Theory and its History” he begin reading and walking toward the cafeteria, were he could sit down in peace, and, hopefully with the help of his book, pacify his tenseness. He hoped. Unless they were serving pizza again.

"It sir, is god in food shape" Jay says with a laugh. "GO head and try a piece, its good..."

"Hey, lets go as far as that okay Jay?" Ax god a little offended at the comparing of god to pizza, even though he wasn't religious anymore, it was an old habit.

"Fine, Its Heaven on earth." Jay corrects himself.

Star turned to Ax. "You religious, or something?" She asked, nodding to the other boy who passed. Star, for once since she got here, felt a little outnumbered. She was, seriously, the only girl student so far.

"At one time I was..." Ax looks at his gauntlet. "But old habits die hard right..." He looks up and smiles.

"You see, Ax questioned some things, and they didn't like that... So he left..." Jay cuts in. "That was the only time Ax has been away from me and Ike..."

"For a price, anything is possible..." Ike Speaks after being quit the whole time.

"Yeah Okay, Guess I'll be your friend, and uh, don't worry bout Ike, We sometimes think hes not all there..." Ax Smiles and then extends his hand. "Ax nice to meetcha."

"Sure" Jay yawns. "Damn, Still tiered from what happend..." He yawns again.

Trent still was still having trouble calming down.

Fire boy was such a, well... for lack of better term, an idiotic hothead.

Pointlessly trying to start a fight, fighting over something pointless, something that had been a joke.

Trent didn't like him, he reminded him to much of the kids at the last school he had been to just before he had come to elemental grove.

He was in his and Ax's room, lying down on the bed wondering when lessons would begin.

He began to ponder and remember, his thoughts heading back down the ill-lit route to the past. He recalled teh day everything had changed for him.

[[Okay, for this flashback, I'm gonna assume the world outside elemental grove is pretty similar to real life for the description of surroundings]]

He was walking down the corridor, as always, going towards his locker, same old routine as always.
he tripped, went sailing through the air, head-long into the floor, face scrapping across the floor a couple of inches, pain flared up all over his face as he got up, turning to see who had pushed him, he had felt the hand push him form behind.

"Enjoy your trip f**?"
He turned around to meet the face of Alex Kowalski.
Alex could not have been more ugly if his face had been put through a meat grinder.

"Get lost Alex, I didn't do anything to you." He had muttered back.
Alex smiled, he drew back his fist and hit Trent in the face, shattering his nose.
Trent let out something between a roar and a moan of agony, he turned and ran, blindly, the blood from his nose clouding his vision.
He made it to the bathroom, he thought he had lost them.
He began to walk up to the mirror to see how bad his face was when the door flew open, Alex and four cronies entering to room.

After a short burst of torments, Alex and his gang had surrounded Trent, beating him continuously until he was on the floor taking kicks to the stomach.

Then something had cracked, hell, he had totally flipped out and ruptured.

Dragging himself of the floor, blood still pouring form his nose, he had pulled inwards on his own energy, that he had barley realised at the time he had, and sent it almost all out in a huge plume of white hot steam.


The rest was history, he had been quietly expelled, and he had been setoff to elemental grove by his foster parents, both of them deciding he should learn to control hi powers then return to what they called "the normal world".

Trent’s eyes flew open, he could not stand bullies and he was certain he wouldn’t let anyone push him around again, not here and not outside either.

He got up off his bed, not sure how much time had passed and he began to make his way towards the cafeteria.


[[Sorry for the length of the post, decided it was time for a bit of character development / important history / background]]

Ryu tried to concentrate on the theories and diagrams, but, not only was he worried about how he had been late to school today, but they also kept eluding him in favor of the newcomer he had just seen. “It couldn’t be…” he muttered, trailing off. Yet how many people would have purple eyes? And how many of those would mach every other description of his new bunkmate? Ryu sighed, closing his notebook and standing up. Ryu had only been in the school a few days, but he still had hoped that he wouldn’t have to endure a bunkmate. Nothing against the said person, just the idea of having to be close to someone for an extended period of time. Walking towards the group he placed his notebook in his robes. Despite his nervousness, he knew that if he ignored his bunkmate now, he would regret it later. Making sure not to stand to close, partly due to his nerves, but mostly as to keep from intruding, Ryu waited for an opening in the conversation.
