slappy notices the library is empty, got caught up in the books, must walk back to my common room i hope i make it i fall asleep in a heart beat

As Slappy Silk heads down to her common room, she passed the great hall once more and decided to enter

Wren the relatively new house elf gives a small squeak of horror as she exits the Giggling Pear only to see the halls and stairs covered in magical goo, "Oh! And the young masters and misses will be arriving at the school very soon!" Thinking that the Girl's Lavatory is of decidedly less importance in light of the current state of the corridors, she rushes back into the kitchens to retrieve reinforcements.

Wren the elf dashes out of the Giggling pear and comes to an abrupt halt, with difficulty, slipping a little in the goo, suddenly she's faced with a unique challenge, not sure of the magical properties of the goo, and therefore unsure of how to clean it she experimentally takes out a moist soapy sponge and scrubs a small drop of the substance. The second her sponge touched the droplet the goo multiplied several times in volume. She sighed and said, "Well, Hen, soap and water is out..." Her chicken clucked in agreement.
