"Hmm, I doubt that. There's every possibility there's another anthro out there somewhere who's more suited for you than I am," Isora said matter-of-factly but he smiled as Amon kissed his cheek.
After recovering from his embarrassment, Ren decided to go in search of Alex and maybe repair some bridges that had been burnt when Amon and Isora had gotten on their's son's case. First, he checked his brother's pond but there was no sign of Alex. So Ren headed for Alex's room, stopping in the kitchen (after carefully checking that his parents weren't still in there) to grab a peace offering on the way. When he reached his sibling's room, he rapped lightly on the door with his knuckles and called, "Al? You in there? I made you some bagel-bites.."

"Nope you the only one for me!" Amon kissed the mers cheek again then stared the bath "Would you like bubbles into or rose petals?" Amon asked holding both options up.
Alex still raped in his towel unlocked his door peaked his head out looked both ways then ussured his brother in closing and locking the door behide him "So you desided to bring a peace offering with you, though if any one finds out expectly mom and dad you'll be in big trouble. You know that right?" Alex said walking towards and eyes on the bagel-bites.

Isora smiled, happy to have found someone like Amon. "Hmm...Rose petals, I think."
"Yes, I know that," Ren said, hiding the bagel bites behind his back, hoping to get his brother to focus on something other than food for a second. "But they weren't wrong you know. Yes, you have a high metabolism and therefore are always hungry but you're not the only one who needs feeding so maybe you could cut back just a bit?"

"Alrighty rose petals it is" Amon said putting rose petals into to water the putting away the bubble bath stuff and what was left of the rose petals "Shall we?" Amon justerd Isora towards the bath.
Alex crossed his arms acrossed his chest and spoke with a raised voice "I know I'm not the only one who needs food Ren, but it's because my metabolism I'm in trouble in the fist place and its not my fault though everyone says it is my fault any way. So no matter what I do I lose either way" still in his towel Alex went into his closet, quickly picked a pair of pants and put them on and walked out of his closet "So what do you want me to do Ren! Stop eating? If I slow down I lose weight if I lose to much I will get sick, I keep eating I keep my weight and I don't get sick that's how I see it Ren."

"Yes, let's," he replied, taking Amon's hand and using his mate to steady himself while he stepped daintily into the water. As soon as he was settled, his legs turned into his mer tail.
Ren rolled his eyes. "Oh do stop being so overdramatic," he said, keeping his voice even. Unlike his brother, he knew that raising your voice got you nowhere fast. "You're in trouble because you let your metabolism get the better of you and just eat and eat. What I'm proposing is you cut back a bit, not stop eating entirely. That would just be stupid, Al."

Amon chuckled sliping into the water after his mate and settled next to him "His feels good!"
Alex lowered his voice "Ren I know your trying to help, but even if I cut back it wont be for long, even moms restrictions aren't going to do much if any thing." Alex walked over to his bed and laid down "can I have those bagel-bites now?"

"Yes it does," Isora murmured, resting his head on Amon's shoulder and closing his eyes.
"You need to learn self-control. Have you no willpower?" Ren asked, exasperated. Then he cleared his throat and regained his compsure. "You can have 4 of them. The rest are mine. This is my lunch," he said, handing his brother the promised bagel bites.

Amon kissed the top of Isora head "I love you so very much."
Alex shurged and sighed lightly "I guess your right, and I have some but not very much" Alex bowed to his brother in thanks for the offered bagel bits.

"I love you too, Amon," he murmured softly then slumped against his mate, dozing peacefully.
Ren raised a hand, telling his brother without words that no thanks were necessary. Then he bid his brother good day and left the room, eating his bagel bites quickly but not too fast. He hadn't been out of the water for too long but since seeing what had happened to his mother, Ren was obsessive when it came to taking a dip and he was "scheduled" for one.

"Maybe we should dry off and go to bed" the wolf said resting his head lightly on the top of his mates head.
Alex put one of the bagel bites in his mouth then closed his door gently "these are good!" he said sitting down and eating a second one.

Isora stirred slightly and murmured his mates name, smiling while he dozed.
When Ren ate the last bagel bite, he patted his stomach and sighed contentedly, making for the pond reserved just for him.

Amon swifted Isora slighty so he could pull the plug smileing down at his mate Amon reached to one side of the tub grabing a towel and wraping it around himself then grabed a second towel softly patted Isora dry as to not wake him watching as the mers fin turned into a pair of legs Wraping Isora in the towel as best he could Amon then picked Isora up and carried him to their bedroom and placed his dozing mate in bed covering him up and slipping in next to him.

Isora had felt Amon dry him and move him but he simply smiled in his sleep, sighing his mate's name.

Isora woke some time later, smiling over at his still sleeping mate. He wasn't sure how much time had passed so, deciding to be safe than sorry, he rolled out of bed and went to go take a bath. Like Ren, he was paranoid now. He didn't want to get sick again and miss out on even more of his childrens' lives.
