Icetail nodded quickly, obviously dissatisfied with the rain. "I hate rain..." He mumbled under his breath. He didn't mind being wet, he was a Riverclan cat afterall, but he just hated the sound of water constantly falling into puddles and such. It anoyed the fur off of him. Making his way towards the entrance, he looked back at Crystaleye and asked, "Do you think many fish will be out in this rain?"
Moonkit had gotten some reeds that surrounded the camp, making sure to go to a spot where they were so heavily clustered that it didn't matter if they were gone, and had already patched up the hole. It was a little messy and wet, but there was no hole. "Rain!" She exclaimed as she walked out of the warriors den. She could atleast splash in the puddles, if nothing else. Moonkit bounded over to a puddle, and when she was two tail-lengths away she leaped into the air, making a large splash when she came back down. The drops of water flew into the air, then fell back to the ground and slid into the soil.

((THANK YOU FOR DEFENDING TORRENTSTAR CUPID! you should see what they say in Windclan "Doesn't he know Sandpaw is in no condition to travel? Sandpaw will DIE if they try to take him now! Why is Torrentstar coming so soon?!" Windclan cats are so ruthelessly judging poor Torrentstar and he's just worried about his little apprentice. crying It makes me want to cry. Everyone is against him crying crying crying ))
Torrenstar could feel the rain on his back cooling his hot head. He turned around to face Rainfur. They were about halfway to the river, of course they weren't actually going to cross the river he knew that Sandpaw had never done that before even uninjured they were heading for the bridge that they usually crossed to get to Four Trees. It wasn't the fastest way but it was the safest. Torrentstar spoke as the rain was picking up. "I don't think it's safe to cross the river even on the bridge." Torrentstar looked at Rainfur half apologetically, half regrettfully. He wanted to see his apprentice, He wanted to know he was ok. But his clan had to come first. If the river flooded, Starclan forbid, not only would Torrentstar and Rainfur be at high risk crossing the river, the entire camp would be. They would need their leader. "We can try again tomorow, I don't want to take the risk." At least he knew Sandpaw was safe from the river... The Windclan camp was high up on a moor, there was no way floodwaters would reach him. And frankly they had much bigger things to worry about.
((Originally i was going to have them cross and get stuck in Windclan territory which would've been interesting for both clans but since Windclan seems so... what's the word? Judgemental? Rutheless? angry? that Torrentstar wants to get his apprentice so soon anyway, i figured let's not make him look anymore foolish by crossing the river in a storm. So that will make windclan happy hopefully... that he wasn't so foolish.))

((Sorry for the double posting look up for Torrentstar's reaction to the storm ;D))
Silvertail looked around for Moonkit widly when the rain started. A roll of thunder sounded. She jumped out of her fur and began to yowl. "Moonkit! Moonkit!" she yelped. She knew she had to be somewhere in the camp,... or maybe not...she wasn't one to follow the rules and she liked to sneak out an aweful lot, the storm would be a perfect time to- Silvertail paniced she started bolting around aimlessly. Yelping all the way. "Moonkit! Oh please Moonkit! I can't lose you! Moonkit!"
Mooneye heard her helpless yelping and for once felt a pang of compassion. She got to her feet headng for the panicing queen.
"Calm down Silvertail calm down! Listen." Mooneye stopped and closed her eyes in concentration. Even in the rain she could hear the distinct padding of Moonkit's paws. She was in the camp but where was she? "She's in the camp." she said. Her eyes stll closed. Mooneye headed in the direction of the pawsteps. "The warrior den?" Mooneye stepped inside not sure is Silvertail had followed and not really caring much. The kit was the one she was worried about. Her scent was here but she couldn't hear her inside. She walked back out into the rain and felt her legs get drenshed in water. Not from the rain. It was from a little kit jumping in puddles. "What are you doing?!" Mooneye hissed. Not because of the puddles, but because of her playing while her mother searched endlessly for her. Her tone was softer when she spoke again. "Don't you know your mother is looking for you?"

(We all hate Torrenstar. And we know he's worried, just, if he knows if Sandpaw is so injured, why in StarClan come now? It's not like we'll kill him off or something....And, don't worry, Pirate, it's not like WindClan will go attack him. Not that we'd be much of a match. And, yes, we are ruthlessly judging poor, weak, mindless Torrenstar. ^ ^ And, I mean, come on: Two days after he got attacked by a dog. )
Crystaleye shook her fur, looking at the puddles. "I doubt it, and the river's probaly going to be too high to hunt in." She looked around, noticing the puddles. "Fox dung. I really,really wish it wasn't raining right now." She stared at the forest where Torrenstar went, swishing her tail. "I know we should go back to WindClan and get Sandpaw, but..." She shook her head. "The river's probaly about to flood anyway."

((Well Advocate of Art originally made his character a bit rash and mindless yes so i guess i'm just sticking to character. And besides any normal clan xd wouldn't want to take care of another clan's apprentice, but of course i understand why Windclan did it. I was there too as Lightpaw. But Torrentstar wasn't and anyway his reason was more of him wanting to see his apprentice than wanting to come and take him away as if they were keeping him prisoner. He knows they are just taking care of him. ugh enough judging and defending of Torrentstar he's turning around the river's flooding xD. Let's move on .... i haven't introduced Pebblefoot yet, she's still not a medicine cat though, she's only a warrior right now.))
Pebblefoot caught up to Crystaleye and Icetail just as they were leaving the camp. "Can I come with you?" She mewed. She was so bored and she needed a distraction. The rain was soaking her fur thankfully. She liked the water it cooled her down and helped her relax she looked at the two warriors hopefully.

Crystaleye mewed, "Of course, Pebblefoot, but the river's going to flood, most likely. We should hurry." She shuffled her feet nerously, she loved water, but she hated it when the river flooded. "I vote taking the bridge over to WindClan border." She mewed, not wanting to go near the Thunderpath. "Or, if the river's not too flooded yet, the river."

"We're going to need all of the help we can get to find fresh-kill, anyway..." He mumbled, his head low. "Let's hope the river hasn't flooded, because if it has, the whole clan could be in trouble..." Icetail hissed, then began to walk out of the camp.
Moonkit spun around in surprise, then relaxed as she saw it was only Mooneye and Silvertail. "Sorry," she mewed. "I didn't know you were looking for me." She gave the most innocent shrug she could, then jumped as she heard a loud crack of lightning. Moonkit didn't mind the actual lightning; she just hated the thunder that came afterward. Loud noises always scared the fur off of her pelt. Trying to look like she wasn't scared, she began grooming herself, although it did her pelt no good in the rain.

((When you have Appletail go on the WindClan patrol, make sure to have them find the river a bit flooded from the storm, so it would be impossible for them to cross.))

Crystaleye padded out of camp, her fur shining with rain. "Let's go." She mewed, then started to stalk. She had smelled a mouse, and her stomach rumbled with hunger. She lept and caught it quickly, scraping dirt over it.

Dampfoot released a small mewl of surprise as the first cold droplets began to spatter her thin pelt.
She had only really been semi-concious of her surroundings; the temptation of sleep really was rather large.
She puffed out a stern breath, ignoring it as it clouded up before her then swiftly dispersed; mentally scolding herself for not paying attention, especially when she'd been put in charge.
Turning her head upwards, Dampfoot's eyes matched the colour of the miserable sky.
She allowed herself a mintue smile and stood up, stretching herself out casually.
Dampfoot liked the rain. The soft pitter-patter that accompanied the crying clouds was soothing, and the cold water always felt somewhat invigorating to the silver warrior.
She cast a glance carefully around the camp; empty.
She heard conversation in the warrior's den, recognising Mooneye's rusty tone, along with a couple of other cats, but other than that RiverClan camp seemed deserted.
Her ears flicked as rain fell onto them. The weather was rather forboding, and she worried for the cats that had recently left camp.
StarClan forbid the river should flood.
Dampfoot's frowned grimly, re-seating herself and watching the sad gray clouds swirl above her as she thought.
[ I got your invite.. butbut.. idk if I wanna join another guild.
I'm not sure I'd be able to keep up what with school and such.
I mean, this guild moves fast enough as it is. D:
Also, no, I didn't remember what I was gonna say -- so it obviously wasn't that important. :'D;; ]
