Colche's ears flattened tightly against her head "Live here, noone want colche, colche leave, live here, in jungle. Nice" it was a broken sentence as all ehr sentences were but, she had stated the truth. She hadn't been back to her duplex for nearlly two weeks now, she had abandoned it to klive in the jungle where noone came looking for her, this further affirmed to her that she wasn't wanted, noone came looking. The cheetah that she was becoming had also started to take over she was convinced she was supposed to be alone thats why nooe searched for her. She was supposed to live all alone with noone to talk to. She had thoroughly convinced herself that noone cared.

What little feelings Lauren had tucked away, seemed to all swell to the surface and expand to explosion. She wiped a small tear away from her eyes and she went up closer to Colche, dropping the plastic bag for a hug.
"Ah Colche, geez, make me feel all shitty bout myself." She parted and looked Colche straight into her eyes, "I care, lots of people care it's just the way people are. They are selfish, self centered bastards and sometimes you need to MAKE them see you." And that was what Lauren was wanting right now wasn't it? To make people see her by her actions. That's what spray paint was all about. "They'll just continue being selfish dumbasses if you just hide. I mean hell, I know that I am a selfish dumbass. . ." Lauren felt horrible, remembering bringing Colche breakfast that first time and promising to do it everyday. She hadn't gone out and repeated it even once, but that was just the way Lauren was.
"Point is, they do care. It's just they are up in their own little worlds too busy to look. They probably just thought you would need some alone time and didn't want to bug you." Lauren knew most of her words weren't being heard correctly or understood at all but she said them anyway. She also knew, she sucked at comforting people.

She listend intently to Laurens words, and though some of them went straight over her head her brow creased in a frown "Noas!" she stated "no care, no look, no exsist" Colche pouted like a child, as far as she was concered she no longer exsisted on the island. Noone looked for her the few times she had revisted her duplex she had found noone had been there. At one time, people came to find her all the time, people came to care for her and vice versa she had come to rely upon them, but now, noone came, noone searched for her, noone even called ehr name or went to her duplex. Noone cared, she was alone and in the jungle. She wsn't particularily happy about it, the cheetah in her told her she had to be alone and the people on the island simply affirmed that, her 'brothers and sisters' and even her 'mother' figure had vanished too busy to pay attention to her. She had been spoilt, looked after and maybe even loved by a few people on the island but they had all vanished in to the mist, disapeard in to their own little gloom and now she lived alone, nakled and alone.
Tears rolled down her cheeks and she looked at her feet, noone would ever search for her, perhaps Aubrey would look for her when it was time for another shot, she had a feeling her treatment wasn't done yet though she didn't entirely understand it. "Colche try be friend, noone care, everyone leave, Colche lone, lone always" she choked this sentence out a cough echoeing from her chest, she hadnm't been eating very well of late, stealing in to the cafeteria at dawn to devour the night befores left overs, she had lost what ever weight she had put on since being on the island, she looked a mess a sad bundle and her eyes, ehr eyes weredark and clouded full of a sadness which ehr abuse hadn't put there.

Lauren stood still, not sure what to do or say. Colche had said some good points. Perhaps people had a hard time dealing with how child-like she was. That was no reason to ignore her.
"They all care Colche, but they all are bastards for not looking for you. People make mistakes and they'll be back I'm sure." Lauren hoped to take away the sadness in Colche's eyes. Maybe a lie or two would help, but somehow she hated lying to Colche. She could lie up and down to anyone else but somehow lying to Colche was wrong. Sure, Lauren could say she was looking for Colche in the woods but that would just be so wrong so she kept her mouth shut about that.
Her eyes lit up remembering what holiday was near, "Hey! Colche I've got an idea!! Christmas is near, people that care give the people they love and care for presents. I bet you will get lots!" Lauren hoped to convince Colche. "Why don't you go back to your duplex and see, it's a few days from now still but I really do think you will get tons of presents." Lauren hoped she could scrounge up a present for Colche. Sure she got a few gag gifts for everyone else, some mite treatment for Amaya, a few finger traps for Hargun but she hadn't gotten anything real for anyone.
"Maybe they were too busy buying your presents to visit! It will be all over soon." Speculation was not lying, no matter how far off it seemed.

"Hol..ee..day?" she tilted ehr head softly unsure of what Lauren meant by such athing. her brow creased, what was a holiday? What was Christmas? "Cri..tuh..mas" she looked at Lauren rather confused by these two new words, she had never heard of nor had a christmas, or a birthday or any of those other holidays that people had on a regular basis. She had a feeling that lauren was making excuses, though she didn't know the word excuses, it certainly didn't sound like an outright lie any way. Her tail twitched "Colche lone in duplex, colche lone in jungle, people wnt, people look." she pouted rather resolutely crossing her arms, she had a feeling noone would come and look for her even if this 'christmas' exsisted. She remembered in the back of ehr mind the presents she had received in the past, her butterfly case, the dream catcher from Amaya, The whole heap of stuff from Aubrey, but none of it really mattered. She had enjoyed having things but she wanetd the people more, she needed somone whom she could rely on and everyone had vanished. She just didn't understand why.

Lauren crossed her arms, Colche was being incredibly stubbourn about this subject so much even Lauren wondered if she were right. "I was alone in my duplex, I'm always alone but you don't see ME pouting about it. It's just the way life is for me." She kicked the bag of spray paint away, now getting way hot in the jungle. Lauren removed her hoodie, now just in a tank top and her pants, tossing it aside. Spray painting could wait for another day, right now there was a upset. . . uh, frie... person to see to.
Lauren sat down on a nearby fallen tree knowing this would take a while. "And besides, your not alone now are ya?"

Colche looked at Lauren. She had almost forgotten what the girl looked like properly, she didn't remember being around people any more, was she a person still? What was her name? Colche, her name was colche and she had friends, friends who didn't come to her, friends who ignored her, were they friends? Winnie the poohs friends were always with him especially piglett. She frowned again and sat down ont he ground looking at her clawed fingers "No" she stated "Lauren not look for Colche, Lauren here, things" She pointed at the bag, juvenile she may be but she wasn't stupid she knew that Lauren had come not for her as she preyed somone would, anyone, one of her extended family, Aubrey, she would kill to see Aubrey look for her. A tear rolled down her cheek again and she sniffled quietly her hands rasing to her eyes in bunched up fists "Noone wants, noone, Colche alone now, go back, see home, empty, noone come, noone, noone care invisable colche, invisable" she had learned the words from one opf her story books, the emporers new clothes, she hadn't entirely understood the story but she had caught the gist that hsi cloathes were invisabl;le, colche had had the idea that she could wear invisable cloathes too, for an afternoon at least until one of the staff of the complex had told her to put her garments on. She had claimed she was an emporer in invisable cloathes, but had ended up escaping to her duplex any way. Her ears flattened against her head as she sniffled "noone know Colche gone noone care, not Aubrey not noone."

Lauren shook her head, there was no way she was going to convince Colche otherwise and she knew it.
"Well, why don't we both go back to your duplex and see if there are Christmas presents there. I'm sure there are. We can get you some food at the cafeteria while we are at it, I'm sure you're starving." Lauren reached out to grab Colche's hand and started towards the village.

Colche's ears flattened though she allowed Lauren to take her hand. For a moment it felt like old times, she was happy to be lead back and forth from her duplex back then, people cared about her for a little while. Her gaze fell towards the ground "what Christmas Lauren?" she didn't know the word, it confused her her brow creased as she looked up at the other female. Licking her dry lips her stomach gave a growl. She hadn';t been in to the cafeteria for a day or so, she hadn't felt, that, hungry but the mention of food made her think of all the yummy things she loved.
She kept hold of Laurens hand though her arm stretched out fully as she walked almost reluctant to rejoin society after so long, or what felt like an eternity, away gfrom the world she had come to know and love.

She doesn't even know what Christmas is? Lauren wondered. Colche had indeed been kept in isolation most of her life, it was everywhere.
"Well Colche, Christmas is a time of year where everyone gives you presents. . .gifts. . . ur fun stuff wrapped in paper that you get to shred open." She smiled wryly. "Of course, there is also that fat man in the suit that gives gifts to children but that's just a story. His name is Santa Claus. He lives in the north pole and has some elf slaves that make toys for all the spoiled brats of the world so they can be happy for one day. Or at least that's how the story is told." Lauren nodded. She wasn't the best at explaining things like that.
"It only happens once a year and I know I'm anxious to find out what the hell I got so you must be as well. And damn, I'm surprised you havn't starved to death, what have you been eating?" Lauren hoped Colche wasn't to the point of hunting down real prey and eating it raw, that made her stomach churn. Of course, soon enough Lauren would be hunting down insects without the chocolate coating and eating them as well.

Colche frowned softly "pre..sents? for Colche? San..Tuh..Claws, Eflz," She had a hard time visualising all these things, never mind pronouncing all the new words. Fat guy though made her pout "like chubbs?" she frowned softly padding along "Colche eat sometimes" She didn't all together get the question she was asked, she had been raiding the cafeteria first thing in the morning eating what ever was left over fromt he night before, usually scraps of stuff then elaving before anyone else turned up. She hadn't really wanted to see people, and noone came looking, really all that ahd happened as the want to be alone was further aggrivated by the lack of people around her. She wasn't a happy kitty.
Christmas sounded quite interesting, though only Aubrey had ever given her presents, would anyone else?

"Yes yes, I've never met Chubbs but if his name is Chubbs I'm sure he's like Santa Claus, although I'm sure Santa's fatter, he's one huge fat a**, eating only milk and cookies. He's also old, likes the color red and has a beard." Lauren smiled at this, it was nice being of use of someone, to help someone.
Her sociopathic tendancies never seemed to peek out when Colche was around, for what she knew that was when Lauren was most Lauren. There was no mongoose, no run away, just her helping Colche out. She was herself then.
They started approaching the village, buildings could be seen. "It's good you eat sometimes! Very good." Lauren couldn't stand the thought of someone starving, especially someone she liked, she had enough of that in her life. Because of that Lauren never took something as simple as food for granted.

~New Roleplay~
Emerwyn was still in the same state days after the incident. The only times she had come out was to eat. She never went to the cafe anymore. The greens were far fresher in the jungle.
She was huddled up by a bush, her favorite one, chewing the leaves from it in a reserved manner. She had not felt sick for the past few days. Then again, she hadn't felt anything. No coherent thought passed through her brain. Only those that instinct required. When she needed to eat, drink, relieve herself, sleep. It was as though she were completely animal. Words rarely passed through her mouth.
She reached into her pocket, and pulled out a slightly crumpled piece of paper. Emerwyn had been cherishing it, pulling it out when the feeling actually came over her to act human. It was only during these times that she vocalized, and when she did, it was soft, sweet singing, and nothing more.
Most often, she sang the song that she and Timothy had composed together. But today, new words came out, with a new melody all its own. It was eerie and haunting. And softly though she sang, it seemed to echo through the trees.
"In darkest of times In deepest of waters I searched for you in vain. Please show your face to me. The trees, how they feel. My only companions The spririts of the woods Will show your face to me.
Go quick to the wood And hear what it tells you. You'll feel the words they say Reach out your heart to them. I wait for you here Still silent and patient. My heart bleeds not for you But for-"
It fades, and the rest of the words she sings are indescernible to any listening ears.
She keeps on singing, however, looking at the photograph with distant eyes.

Joliette had left hers and David's duplex, she eyed her own duplex, she still didn't want to return to it yet, she had no idea if David had manged to clean it all up or not. she looked at her hands shivering hard at the memory. She had her camera and it's bag by it's strap hanging against her side and had intended to go through the jungle to the cliffs. Her yellow tongue flicked as she trudged barefoot along hte edge of the jungle. Her hearing picked up a little sound, sound that would be foreign tot he jungle and she looked towards it picking up a familiar scent as her tongue returned to her mouth.
She headed in a detour for her friend and soon was looking at her curiously as she stared at the photo. Ok she supposed she could sympathize the look, she'd felt much the same way before her birthday "Hello Emerwyn" she said breaking the... well to her it seemed like silence Emerwyn's words were low in tone and she barely caught snatches of the sound

Emerwyn's head turned slowly up to the face she had already identified by scent. She kept singing softly as she looked at Joliette, interperating her features.
Finally, she quite zoning, and smiled slowly.
"Thank you," was all she said. The photograph Jolie had given her was in her hand.
