Chance looked at Dante curiously. "What do you want to do?" He made a fleeting glance down at the wine bottle in the wolf's hand, simply because it was there and untouched - perhaps he wanted to drink it at home - but just as quickly looked back up at Dante and watched the wolf curiously.

It was untouched only because he didnt quite feel like drinking it out of the bottle with Chance there since he didnt seem to be all that into what had been picked out. He preferred not to be the only one drinking unless he was alone, or he was at home.
At the question of what he wanted to do, his ear flicked lightly as he tried to think of what he indeed wanted to do. If he went home he'd probably just flop on the couch... And he realized, not in the shooing matter, that Chance would have to go home eventually considering how long they'd been together.
"Im not sure actually." He had to be truthful about it he didnt have a clue, sitting on swings just seemed to be a good time waster of sorts...

Chance found himself fighting down his rising impatience. Dante's evasiveness was difficult to work with at best. Last night it had been so much easier to figure out what he wanted. On the other hand, if he simply wanted nothing, Chance could work with that, too. With a toothless grin, he took the wolf's arm lightly and guided them down the path back toward Dante's place. "Let's head back then."

Dante said nothing and didn't argue as Chance took his arm. His tail swished behind himself as his ears flicked back slightly, resting that way. It wasn't his intention to evade the other. Hmm... There seemed to be a lot things he hadn't intended to do.
Sighing inwardly, he looked at the ground following silently.

Dante's silence made the walk stretch out forever. It was not that Chance needed to talk; he had nothing in particular that he wanted to talk about. It was the fact that the wolf did not seem to want to talk that was more worrisome. Most people just blurt things out, inconsequential or nonsensical things, that fill in the spaces. They are sometimes awkward, especially among near-strangers, but rarely truly dull. If people were on a wavelength, they will either chatter with one another the whole time, or have companionable silences that will eat away the time. They will make a chilly night like tonight warmer, or clearer, the blue of the sky deeper and the stars more bright.
Right?
The road became familiar; they were almost back and Chance's thoughts turned to less frustrating matters.

Dante didnt blurt. But it seemed Dante didnt do much of anything which was obviously affecting himself and the frustrated Chance, and for some reason... He just wasnt that sentimental like person who even ever thought of trying to 'make the chilly nights warmer' or whatever. It just didnt occur in his mind that thats what should happen if there was that connecting 'wave-length' of sorts.
Looking from the ground ever so slightly and saw the road towards his house. tail swishing behind him a little couldn't help but feel mildly bad for his very very unsocial ways... As far as he knew, Chance would never want to see him again... would that be for the better? But even though he was bad at socializing he found it... okay... he could get used to it, it was better than sitting around the house. Well... Sort of.

Chance walked Dante up to the door; that was just the thing to do. Under the porch light, he turned to Dante with a brilliant smile. He had come to a decision in his momentary distraction that amounted to nothing. He had come to the conclusion that this, like every other time, meant nothing, and that this was going nowhere. It was liberating because it meant that nothing had changed for him. That made the smile so much easier as he took Dante's hand into both of his and raised it to his lips, brushing them across the wolf's knuckles. "I..." he looked up at Dante, "had a wonderful time. Good night, Dante."
Releasing his hand, the unicorn left the wolf's side and ambled away, disappearing into the night. It was a good one for walking.

The wolf was surprised at the smile as he saw it, his ears perking before going back. He was silent as Chance kissed his hand, which might I add, was a first. Tail giving a small swish he couldnt help but frown a little. "Chance..." Before the unicorn had a chance to leave he reached out, meeting the other with a kiss. Letting him go he sighed. "Sorry..."
He stood on the porch a moment as he watched Chance leave before going inside. Glancing around, it wasnt a surprise no one was up and he went to the kitchen to put the wine away.
Dante barely noticed Anatu sitting at the table as he thought to himself, and only noticed when the tiger spoke to him.
"Frowning causes wrinkles Dante ~" Anatu gave a small smile in the direction of the wolf as he snacked on an orange.
