Arrow froze at the sound of something tapping, when she listened she recognized the beat. Ah s**t she cursed mentally, pulling the hammer down on her gun. Carfully she checked each room even though she knew exactly where it was coming from. Finally she stood infront of the last door, really not wanting to open it. Taking a deep breath she opened the door. The room was dark and she reached for the light switch. She clicked it on, nothing. She clicked once, twice, several times in 2.5 seconds. "********." She cursed aloud under her breath. The power was out.

Arrow took a deep breath, calmly and rastionally coming up with a plan. That plan, run like hell. Arrow turned bolting back down the hall at top speed. But close to the end of the hall she slipped on what remand of Al's blood, colliding head first with the wall at the end of the hall. Cursing under her breath she looked back towards the end of the hall.

Arrow was not one to scare easy. She took great pride in the fact that she could handle jobs that made even the toughest guy shiver in fear. For the first time in her life she had biten off more than she could chew, and she knew it. Yeah it was definetly time to get the hell out. Arrow scrambled a bit, fingers latching onto the first step as she literally pulled her self to the stairs, but in her hurry ended up tumbling down them. Not wasting the time to stop and see if he was there she got up and ran to the door. Quickly she undid several of the locks, that she didn't remember being done when she entered and kept her from the freedom of running down the streets screaming in shear and utter horror. Her hand stopped on one just a few inches above her. She jinggled it. It was a pad lock. "Son of a-." She cursed and pulled on it harder. This just wasn't her night.

Arrow's head whipped around at the sound of the crash and the voice she knew well. What the hell was going on? Wasn't that Edward upstairs? The one who attacked Al and now was going after her? In all honesty it was too much for her. The fear, the confusion, she stood transfixed on the spot, hand still gripping the padlock.

Okay, okay, okay. Calm down. Freaking out isn't going to help. First things first get the door unlocked. Once your escape route is secure, then go and check on the creepy voice. Arrow thought taking a deep breath air, heart stilll pounding in her ears. Plan firmly set in mind she turned to look once more at her task. Lighting flashed and reflected in the long window that cover most of the door, Arrow saw Edward grinning sadistically not even foot behind her. With a startled cry she turned, half stumbling back, almost falling to the floor. "H-Hey Edward, what's up?" Arrow manage to gulp out, as she started to back up slowly. "What the hell did I ever do to make you want to kill me?...............okay bad question."

Arrow gulped audibly as she continued to back away from the crazied blonde. This really wasn't her night. There was a soft thunk and Arrow's eyes went a little wider. She could go no farther. A wall to her back, the front wall to her right, and a rack full of empty guns to her left. She was defensless and trapped. Well maybe she could throw the guns at him. It might work....probably not.

Arrow's hands instantly flew to her throat, trying in vain to pull the metal limb off. She gagged, coughing hard as she fought to breath, fingers sliping on the metal as they started to bleed. <********> She cursed metally half glaring at the man who held her aloft with such easy. There was a crash follow close by a gun shot. Her ears rang as the bullet just missed Edward and her own head. "Put her down Elric. The next ones won't miss. That was your one and only warning." Vic's voice rang calm and clear through out the empty shop, dark red eyes glaring down the sight of the 9mm gun that was currently aimed at Edwards head.

"I don't recall belonging to anyone." Arrow coughed out around the hand still clamped on her throat. Vic dodged the strike at him, raised his gun and fired three shots. Two into his cheast, one right between Edward's shocked golden eyes. "What the hell did you do that for?" Arrow half coughed, half yelled at the man as he put his gun away. "Relax, Arrow. Those where just regular bullets. He'll be on his feet in an hour or two." Vic stated calmly pulled the angry teen to her feet. "What? You shot him in the head Vic! No one gets up from that." She continued, ripping her arm out of his grip. "Use your head Arrow. You saw what just happened. He's a vampire and we are not having this conversation here." Before Arrow could protest and or question, Vic flew forward, fist landing in her stomach. With a curse she collapsed into his waiting arms. "He's all yours. Next time do a better job of keeping an eye on your new recruits." Vic said calmly to no one in particular, before turning and walking out the door, Arrow drapped over his shoulder.

Appearing out of nowhere like a phantom, a tall raven haired man walked calmly over to the unconciuos form of Edward. He stopped leaning down, coat billowing around him as he knelt. "I hate newbies. But he's done better than most. Last one went on a killing spree before we discovered him. It's a pleasure to make your aquatence, not that you can even hear me." The man chuckled darkly to himself, before gripping the back of Edward's shirt. As though the blonde was nothing but a feather, he lifted him into his arms and vanished as silently as he came.
