Hearing the changed tone in her voice when she repeated his words, he sat up and looked at her. Wonderful... He'd done something, possibly one of the 'triggers' for the memories that he'd talked about. Maybe I shouldn't be around. But Ignis stayed sitting on the floor with a troubled expression and asked, though he was unsure if Fate could hear him. "Do you want me to get out of your sight? It doesn't look like I'm causing more harm than good today, over and over. I'll understand if you want to avoid me." After all, it wouldn't be the first time he took himself out of a picture.

The girl sighed and turned to look at him. His words were helping her out yet, she was breaking herself apart even more with wanting this. "No.. Don't. Please don't go J-" She paused. "Ignis." Fate bit her lip.

"I don't really want to be alone... After all, your the only one here that I seem to get along with." Leaning on the nearest bookshelf she watched him. "If you had a choice... Between your life and someone else's. Whose would you save? Yours or that other person's knowing that you may not be able to seem them again..."

Ignis didn't even pause to think for a moment. His answer came quickly and was spoken in a light tone. "Easy, I'd save the other person's." From amnesia to this. He thought. More complicated something is, less I want to get involved but... Oh well. "But, that's just possible because it's me that's being involved here." He looked into Fate's eyes and smiled. It wasn't a fake or forced smile, but it wasn't the normal smile people made when they were happy. It was a sad smile. "I haven't died in anyone's place, but it wouldn't be the first time I've had to cut myself out of someone's life."

I'd just keep watch over them. He thought to himself. As long as they're still alive and they can still smile sincerely. I wouldn't care what kind of sacrifice I'd have to make, it'd be a small price.

At first, Fate didn't say much. "Your just like him." She decided to comment after awhile. He looks like him... And would do the same thing as him. Another soft sigh fell from her lips. "There is one difference though... He wasn't afraid of anything." Her dull eyes looked up at him. The green had lost its shine.

The boy's curiosity level reached a point where he actually wanted to know more, something that hadn't happened in years. "Hmm... There's someone else like me in the world?" He doubted it but, If it's true, he thought, It'd be a tragedy.

"Wasn't afraid of anything." He repeated. There was only a thin line between bravery and stupidity, he wondered which category the one Fate was talking about fit into. Ignis couldn't exactly remember when he'd portrayed 'fear' in front of the girl, but he couldn't see himself through the eyes of another so he said nothing.

"He wasn't of afraid of showing his true emotions. Nor was he afraid of... My father." She said and slouched against the wall. Eventually, she slid down into a sitting position. "It was easy to tell how he was feeling if you really knew him... He was pretty much just out there. As long as there was a smile on at least one persons face that he cared about, he was happy himself."

"Your father?" From what he'd heard so far, there hadn't seemed to be a reason for anyone to be afraid of the girl's father. "Did you remember something about him that you'd forgotten up 'till now?" He mulled over a little about what she said about 'showing his true emotions' while he waited for her response. He could guess what that implied, but he just shrugged, there weren't reason for him to explain anything about that.

"I was walking through the woods with him. It was in the afternoon and I was trying to catch up to him... Then Father came as well as Mother..." She said softly. "He didn't want me talking to him, mother said I should of listened to him." She bit her lip unsure of what to say next. She couldn't say she killed them all. Well technically she didn't, only her parents.

"He stuck up for me... Against my father." The soft voice continued. "I didn't want him too. I would of been able to handle it when I got home. Instead..." Her voice trailed off. "They got into a fight." Fate wasn't really comfortable about that. If he asked for more, she'd tell him. If he didn't, then she would go on for the rest of her life like that.

"I'm only getting half the story here aren't I?" He felt that he was pushing it, that was already a lot of things right there and getting her to say the stuff she didn't want to say was really stretching the limit. But the half he was still missing seemed to be of great importance. "What was the result... Of that fight?"

Ignis was watching her expression carefully. Wondering if she remembered all that she lost, or some of her memories. Most of all, wondering if she still wanted to remember now that she knew what her mind had locked away and if she regretted remembering or thought it to be worthwhile.

Her eyes widened a little bit. "Joey pushed me away... He was trying to protect me. Father tackled him to the ground and they kept punching each other. He wrapped his hands around his neck and I screamed. I wanted him to stop but I couldn't..." She paused taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. "Joey was dead... Father strangled him. Then he was ripped from limb to limb. I watched him die in front of my very own eyes. Mother screamed and I didn't look. All I could feel was the warm blood splattered onto me..."

She opened her eyes and looked straight at him. "I killed them."

For an instant, the boy's eyes grew immensely wide before being shut closed. There's the trauma... He thought bitterly, And here's me. Digging in too deep into someone else's past for my own good. Rubbing the bridge of his nose, he thought. He had no idea how much time had passed, but there had definately been a couple of minutes of silence before he spoke again. With a sigh he said, "You didn't do it on purpose though, right?"

Wearily, he re-opened his eyes and looked up at the girl. "You have no idea how strange this feels right now. Your past, my past, they really couldn't be any more different..."

(( Sorry for dozing off ))

Time Near sunset
Weather Only fluffs of clouds here and there in the red-orange sky

Olivia was sure that she probably was in her own world for a few minutes, because Elon was in the kitchen too. Watching Elon eat an apple Olivia realized she was hungry too, but all she did was sleep and stand all day. Knowing other people had powers made her feel like she wasn't alone. She probably wasn't crazy, and that psychiatrist she saw a few years before was unnecessary. Though living all those years pretending and hiding her "gift" became habit, her life was a boring routine. This abduction was by far the most interesting thing she's experienced for the past year.

Another day came to pass. The sky was no longer cloudless. Many people seemed to have disappeared from her view, but she didn't care. "They'll come back, it's going to be dark soon," entranced by the darkening forest and dancing silouettes Olivia thought aloud, even if she didn't someone in this peculiar place would. Powers aren't that special anymore, not here anyways.

Her eyes watered. "Remember how I said I wanted to know if there was someone who saw past the whole prestigious academy girl?" She asked him. She inhaled a shaky breath. Closing her eyes she tried to get a hold of herself. "He was the one. He saved my life... Then my dad killed him." She opened her eyes and tears streamed down.

"He was the only one that could get me to open up. Then he... He was just... Dead." She whispered the last word. "I wanted my dad to stop but I couldn't then... It happened." She said with a shaky voice. "The shadows... They leaped up. Tore him from limb to limb. I ran through the forest lost then stopped. Realization hit me. I had control over them. Then nothing." She looked up at him. "They looked like they were going straight at me wanting to kill me too. I pushed them away and... Walked away in the snow with Father." She corrected herself. "I mean Mr. Alloy."

"So it wasn't on purpose." That was all he could say. It might've been a good idea to say words of comfort telling the girl not to worry about it, or just saying it wasn't her fault, but he wouldn't say words he didn't believe in. As accidental as it was, it was still technically her fault and whoever could just brush that event off without worrying over it was either crazy or inhumane.

A small part of Ignis still noticed the fact that he'd been right. Fate wasn't normal, she could do something, like everyone else in the manor. My instincts live on... Not really a good time to mention that fact, so I'll just shut up for now.

"Mr. Alloy? Do you really need to be related by blood to call him your father?"

"I don't know any more!" She almost screamed at him. Fate pushed herself off the ground wiping the tears away. "And your finally right. I'm not normal. So I guess that makes you nothing like a prince. More like someone who's running away from something else." She said with a shaky voice.

The girl was starting to regret meeting him. If she never met him, she wouldn't of been getting her memories back. She would of continued to live the lie she grew up living.

But she couldn't do that. The face... The laugh. No, she didn't want to forget anything like that again. Fate was having a battle in her mind with herself.
