Raine sloshed through the back streets, struggling to get his shirt back over his head. It seemed like a good idea to take it off in that rain before but now. Every inch of him was ice cold. But as he was running he couldn't quite managed to tame the beast of a shirt. Every few steps he would trip and stumble. Just to keep on going until he had reached the village marketplace where the streets where filled. The stone beneath his feet was slick and slippery which made each step eve harder. But he could see Rima's just across the plaza. So he quickened his step, excited about the fact that he had done so much. And couldn't wait to get his meal.

Lavi hopped from roof to roof back down to the new village. Taking in sights and sounds. It was so different from what he had grown up in. Lavi had a feeling this place would be plenty fun if you could work with what you got. He smiled and saw a perfect opportunity, far below a long rail, ran down some steps to close to that ramen shop he had seen. Normally it would have been just a normal rail but now it was slick from the rail and perfect for grinding. Lavi jumped high and long howling in the air! The rain hit his eyes as his jacket flew up like wings. His feet in front of him Lavi hit the rail with a loud clink and slowed for just a second. Until gravity rocket him off down the rail his arms flying next to him as he kept his balance.

Raine finally had his shirt over his head as he jogged down the street. Just as his small head popped from the whole in his drenched shirt "AHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The boys crashed! Lavi flew his momentum and body size crushing poor little Raine. At first they both lay in a pile. Until Lavi pulled up his head, each instantly backed up and started their childish behavior! In Unison they yelled "HEY! What's YOUR DEAL!"

"What's my deal!?" Raine barked, "You're the one who smashed into me!"

"You're the one who got in my way!" Lavi called.

They were both silent, looking deep into each others eyes. Their attitude changed as they each saw something they saw in their own eyes in the mirror. Raine looked up into the droplets, as did the older boy. Seceretly they smiled.

Lavi smiled and looked down at the soaked boy. He looked like a dirty skunk, and smelled like one too. "What have you been into kid? You look like a wreck." he stood up and offered his hand down to the crouching boy. He smiled, and tears of rain dribbled down his tan cheeks.

Raine looked up at the guy, he hadn't seen him around the village before. And the way he had ridden that rail. seemed impossible for someone who wasn't a ninja. The small boy couldn't find a headband though. Could this guy, be an enemy? He grabbed Lavi's hand with a strong grip, his Tekkenseisai muscles tightened a little too.

Lavi's looked down a little surprised by this kids grip. It seemed too strong for a kid this size. "hey kid, you wanna get inside. I was just going to see if I could bargain my way into a bowl or ramen." He pulled the boy off the ground easily and let him go.

Raine still looked solemn and suspicious. Especially by how easily he picked him up.

Lavi noticed this look and gave him a nice big smile, "I'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself. Itsuki Lavi of Konohagakure. Newly arrived and prepared to join Lady kage as a chunin level ninja." he bowed and pushed wet hair back up out of his face.

Raine sighed a little, relieved. "Tekkesnseisai Raine of Oto, I'm sort of in the academy." Raine bowed as well trying to copy what lavi had done.

The older boy giggled under his breath at this, and followed up on the conversation while walking toward the Ramen shop. "What do you mean sort of?"

Raine looked up to the sky as if remembering, "Well, my first day the village got attacked and the academy blew up." he said pantomiming the explosion.

Lavi looked down at the boy, and smiled.

"You know I been to konoha once." Raine said, "got in a fight, and had some ramen."

"What really? How old are you like seven?" Lavi was generally surprised the first time he ever left the village was when he was about 13.

Raine pouted, "I'm eight! And I went with Hatchi I.... think.... Shif too. We went other places too, but just..." Raine struggled and looked truly troubled, "There was something with a... a giant waterfall, yeah. But after that I only remember being back here and shif and me were crazy they had to come heal us. But nobody ever found hatchi, or his wolf." Raine sighed.

While lavi listened and tried not to look sad, it was obvious this Raine kid had gone to Taki and gotten the s**t kicked out of the brains. This hatchi person was probably dead. He tried to change the subject, "Well let's see if your village's ramen is as good as mine."

Raine pulled free from Lavi as the reached a back alley. He didn't like being held and his ego had been beaten to a pulp back there. The small boy opened his mouth to speak but couldn't even get in a word.

"What the ******** are you doing!" Lavi yelled whipping the boy around to turn towards him. His eyes were filled with disbelief and anger. "All I wanted was some ramen, and you go trying to beat up Kage's! Dude what the hell was that, you could have been killed!" Lavi's ands left his shoulder, and the two boys looked at each other, covered in water. Lavi's visage lightened a bit, as he looked back down the way to the dwindiling crowd of the market.

Raine struggled to look up at Lavi he remembered being with shif somewhere struggling for life, knowing they were going to die all because of him. A deep pain arose in his heart for Hatchi. "I'm sorry..." he whispered, greatful for the friend that he had made. And hoping so badly that the older boy would not desert him. His eyes burned and Raine was glad for the water that all ready drenched his face.

Lavi found the boys appology moving and sighed. "Besides your punch was so slow I could have seen you, dodged you, and killed you before you ever even clenched your fist." Lavi laughed and reached down to grab the little boys hand. He figured the kid might dig the idea of the hand, and pulled him under a building's cover,"Look kid, I'm hungry and I'm tired, you got a place to crash. Maybe in the morning I'll teach you a thing or too about punching correctly." He smiled and looked down again.

Raine was all ready off though, it seemed he brought more people to his house every night. Again he took the back way running as fast as he could, with Lavi sort of jogging behind him. He was all ready out of breath by the time they got to the first fence and he had to let go of Lavi to try and jump it. But suddenly he felt hands on ihs waist and he was gone! "Ahhhhhhhh!!!" Raine yelled at first looking down and feeling gravity pull his body toward te ground. Water smashed his face even hader at the force he was going.

"Calm down Raine it's cool, just a little ninja pirck." He laughed a Raine's reaction, and smashed into the ground silently, bending his knees and flying up again. Water flung up in the air, like an explosion as the force of his movement propelled it. Thunder roared in the sky and Laugh burst out in laughter, landed on a near buy roof. "Come on Raine where are we going?!" He smiled widely holding Raine tightly.

Soon The small boy relaxed and held his arms out, it felt like flying. Everytime Lavi landed he would loose his breath quickly and than grab a lung full to scream joy through the wixked skies. "The houses!!!"

Kaisude after a long rest had taken a chance to get around. He was so tired of being bored, and he wanted to find someone to train him. Atleast he knew there were people who would train him, and make him stronger for Konoha. If not then he would have to head back to Iwagakura and find his old companions. Theres not a person in site as he walk, and thats something he found kind of stange. He was ok though, and he didn't really need anyone to be around.

Shif faded into view from the forest entrance like he had appeared out of thin air.....well he did...but that wasnt the point. He walked through the city....odd that noone was around. It was raining cats and dogs and little frogs as he sloshed through the streets his ANBU uniform only covering him as cold wet rain splatered against his cloathing wich dripped cold oblivion unto his skin. Even though it rained so hard it was kind of beautiful to see the town buildings in silohuette with the rain. You could almost paint a picture with the scenerey.

shif awoke in the midst of some quiet sleeping hobo's in an alleyway somewhere in otogakures abundant streets."hrm seems i walked all night." shif thought as he got up from the wall he was sleeping on."hrm and to think of it i dont believe ive seen kiroshiro or that sannin anywhere last night either....maybe i should go and alert the village like kiro-san asked me to..."he thought as he walked to the end of the street."but who would know where they mightve gone......"he thought indiscretely wandering around the next corner into the busy main street of oto."maybe...i can talk to that dude lavi and get somethin of a hint or what not to where they couldve gone.."he said as he shifted from view the breeze that swept byseemed to be flowing towards the housing district.

Raito walked up to the large tree in the middle of the village square and looked around. Most people walked through here so it wouldn't be too hard for people to see the little note he'd stick to the tree trunk. Taking out a kunai he jammed it into the wood and pat at his side. A large white wolf leaped over the six foot tall fence that sealed off the alley way the next street down. Skidding to a hault, the wolf sat and looked up towards the man. "...darn animal where the hell is Kira?" The wolf's ears perked up at the sound of her owner's name. "Yeah, her, why not go find her and leave me alone." The wolf whinned and the man sighed. "Fine whatever." Walking away from the tree, the tall blonde man walked to where the note on the tree said to attend. He'd wait for his class there.

Hey, any kids who are in Raito's advanced class report to the library. We have some things to do. Get a move on, you have an hour.

Dikamato kicked up dust as he skid to a halt, "which way did that guard say again?" he began to scratch his head as he looked around. He had been in many small villages but none this big. His eyes widened as he looked around some more. "the hell...." He was severely confused now, and more lost now than when he started. He wasn't going to ask for directions, that would make him look useless and stupid.
"Maybe this way..." he turned and began to walk with his hands in his pockets.

This...this place... Where...?

It seemed to her, as if a distant image from a faraway dream...just like the burning desert sands that she knew so well. Or...did she? She seemed to remember it so vividly enough: the sun bearing proudly in the sky, beating down over that windswept landscape...but this...this was not...that place. A forest cradled area, further, marshy lands...rice fields... That part she knew well. She had come wandering through that countryside, after all. She had been fortunate: a kind peasant family had taken care of her. She didn't remember how...how she had ended up with them, or even so severely injured...all she remembered - could - even long after those feverish days...

Oto. The farmer had said. He said something about a shinobi village, and, of a headband in her pocket. She had thanked him for the headband but his wife kindly told her that it was hers from the beginning... She didn't understand. What...what was Oto? And...why...was she supposed to be going there...? Or was this perhaps...too, part of the dream?

Broken memories. Fragmented images. A garden, beautiful and gorgeous like the Forbidden Garden of Eden...bearing *fruit of all sorts...upswept roofs shadowing parts of the garden, providing shade...children... Someone...someone with pale, pale eyes...

She winced. Her head suddenly aches again.

...

A passing breeze played with her fire-tinged hair. It used to be more wavy, that she knew, though she did not know how...as if from a distant memory, she had known...brushing through those same crimson locks every day...but now her hair was much longer, and had even become fairly smooth.

She had arrived. The gates of this place...Otogakure no Sato...

The sentries look at her. At this girl, not even yet a woman... There is a certain wariness in their stance. There is something in another's eyes. One whispers to the other, unsuredly. But she is tired. There is no hostility in her stance.

"Hana...fubuki-san...?"

Raine stepped into the village, the cool morning air hitting his face. The dirt mud and water that covered him chilled him to the bone, even with his hoody on. At least it had stopped raining though, and the village was bustling with fresh moist air. He smiled gently still weak from the fight. "Come on." he looked back at Dikamato. Stepped on to the soaked rocks of the street Raine headed for the training ground nestled on the other side of the village just next to the forest. He thought he might stop by and say hello to the guards at the front gate. He often brought them rolls mom had made. However, when he turned the corner, the guards were up and standing in front of someone he couldn't see. Intrigued Raine stepped closer, a girl decked in red dangled in the wind. Her stance was just at tired as his own, and he approached one of the guards silently. The ninja looked down upon Raine's mess of a head, he opened his mouth to tell him to go back home, but he was already off. The small boy stepped toward the girl. He looked up into her own and smiled, taking her hand without words. "This is Otogakure."

Dikamato followed Raine into the village, the morning air made him sick. He was more nocturnal than anything. He faintly heard Raine say come on, "Yea I'm here..." he continued to follow raine to the guards that told him the way to the otokages office, there stood a girl dressed in red. He watched Raine sneak up on the guards and grab girls hand, Dikamato was intrigued by Raines percurious nature, everyone in his village looked out for number one. Where he came from, people wouldn't help you if you if you had been beaten in the middle of the street. The tekkenseisai he grew up with wouldn't be so polite. He had to smile slightly when he saw this. "Oh...gonna give us both a tour?" Dikamatos smile quickly faded as spoke. He contined to watch and follow Raine.

Since she seemed so precariously close to passing out, one of the guards stepped beside to support her. The sentry was saying something, but she does not clear register all that he said. Ha-na...? Who's that? Her unfocused gaze caught sight of a child. Her mind distantly registered this child's appearance...something familiar... The child was saying something too...but there was no answer from her lips. Her world blurred, blackened to darkness...red hair afloat for a moment in the air, as she passed out.

Raine held hr up with what little strength he had, while the guard a bit shocked and confused pulled her full weight into his arms. Raine looked up awkwardly at the guard who positioned the girl and looked to his partner for some kind of support. "Um... Raine, Kaori is home today right? the guard said referring to his mom. "Ah." the boy hadn't recalled seeing her that morning, and remembered she had probably spent the night with Raito. "Yeah probably." he lied a bit unknowing. The other guard came and grabbed the girls legs. "Well she can deal with this than right?" Raine looked up at the girl, her arms dangling down in the long grass. "Sure, I'll show you my house." He turned around to find Dikamato. They were supposed to train and he would probably not like the idea of looking after some lady. "Hey, Dikamato. How about we train at my house for now? We've got an old punching bag. It may not be as nice as the one in the dojo, but I think we should stay with this lady." With that he gestured to the two gaurds. And set off across the bustling of streets. The housing district was a ways upward and they would have to walk through the village to get there.

(1 travel post to the housing district, just post once more in the village as them walking)

Dikamato watched as the girl passed out, she was weak, but from what? He looked to Raine, he was more concerned than the guards were. What a strange tekkenseisai. "Punching bag? Um...whats that?" Dikamato had not heard of a punching bag, he only used trees and other people to punch on. The thought of what that might look like made dikamato grin. He began to follow Raine and the guards, he kept his distance because where he was from the Tekkenseisai weren't the type to trust let alone befriend. "Alright...ill follow..." Dikamato followed him and watched carefully as the guards seemed not to care about the young girl.

"Bah..." Arashi complained to himself as he made a small stroll through town, his hands tucked in his pockets as always and his eyes on the road ahead of him. With a slouch and a lazy walk, he still managed to strangely blend in among the crowd of people that walked by. "There is never anything to do around this place... And where is Kira?" he began to say to himself.

Bored and lacking of entertainment he began kicking a rock across the ground, wawiting pateintly for something to happen as it always seemed to. Arashi had already figured he had likely been removed from his squad after having not shown up in queit a while. It didn't bother him much though. His sensei had never appealed to him much.
