Remix lost track of time again, it was already 5 minutes till sunrise. She suddenly let go of Death's hand. She suddenly fell to her knees. Her back aching in pain again. She crossed her hands across her chest, the pain unbearable, she had a hard time breathing from it.

The sun rose form the earth's edge, it gave off an orange-yellow light. Her wings started to sink back in her body, she felt as if she was getting stabbed by a sword and it was slowly making it's way through and out of her body. She felt tears flowing down her face.

Remix gave him a small and weak smile. As the sun finally rose form the edge, the pain on her back finally faded. Her back was still numb from it though. She looked at him with a smile "thanks..." she whispered.

Remix blushed a bit. She rested her head on his shoulder, her back still numbed, still unable to move because of it. She slowly reached for his hand, holding it gently.
