((s'ok ^_^ I understand. i have a sudden influx of time on my hands but i'm still on a rushed schedual it seems... xD so forgive me if I'm all GO GO GO!!))

Carrying her tray of food over to where Vince sits, she settles herself across the table from him. Sighing with a smile, she picks up her fork and stabs a bit of pasta.
"Again, thanks for bringing me to the cafeteria. I hope I didn't take you away from anything." She says glancing between her food and him. As her lips close around the tasty morsel of food, her eyes close dreamily for a moment and a contented smile tilts up her lips. Her stomach almost cheers as she chews.
After her momentary distraction of her first bite of food, she again opens her big blues and focuses on his.

Chuckling slightly, she quickly swallows her food. "Why? Are you gonna stalk me?" she teases, arching a brow and smiling to show she was jesting.
Laughing softly, Diah keeps her gaze on his face since she usually likes looking at the person she's talking to. But noticing how he seemed a bit uncomfortable making direct eye contact, she tries to accommodate that and looks at his nose. Skewering another bit of pasta and popping it into her mouth; she rests her chin on her wrist. As she chews, her fork dangles from her fingertips. It wasn't that she didn't want to tell him where her room is. Actually, a bit of her was shocked but pleased with thoughts of him knocking on her door to come see her. It was probably wishful thinking, but really, just the thought of a boy wanting to know where she'd be was flattering to her. She who had hardly stayed in one place long enough to make friend let a lone a love interest. Not that this was 'love' or anything of the sort, but having a boy pay attention to her that wasn't her dad or some colleague of her parents was quite nice. She hoped they could talk. Diah had never really come across someone like him before. The pale skin, black clothing, the long hair and the red eyes she had yet to find out if they were real or contacts. He was intriguing to her. Diah was so much like her parents. Needing to know everything, even if it's long gone, dead, and buried under thousand years of history. Or if there was a thrill of discovery or adventure, Diah and her mother especially, would jump at the chance.

((wow.. I think i may have tangented off somewhere in there.. sorry! XD

I'm probably gonna go sleep after this. again, sorry))

Rose laughed. "I'll leave you to that..." She walked out into the cafeteria. Rose grabbed some of her sisters money and bought lunch. She hardly noticed what she was wearing when she saw vince. Buying some food she sat down with him and his friend. "Hey." She gave him a small smile.

She nodded her head and sipped her soda. Just then she realized what she was wearing. "If I look like a wreck... I blame the evil half. She decided that I needed to run with her..." She played with her food and took a bite.

((I couldn't stay away!!! but i really do need to go sleep after this....))

Nodding in understanding, she ponders his comment on the chance her roommate could be a guy. She was about to shoot him a questioning look when Rose joins them. Diah's smile falters only for a moment. One person she might be able to handle for human interaction on the first day in a strange new school, but two? Mentally steeling herself, she takes a deep breath, swallows the mouthful of pasta and continues to smile. Not sure if she should say anything, she just observes. At the undertone in Vince's voice about preps and athletes, she glances down at her dress and suddenly feels self-conscious again. Biting the inside of her bottom lip, she glances between Rose and Vince. Wow, I only find out her name and I'm a bit jealous as to how she can interact with him. And I don't even know his name yet! I hope he doesn't hate Athletes... would make finding a friend in him or even her a little difficult... she thinks to herself. Her mind poking at her about how she has a green belt in Karate, usually plays a power in volleyball, and how she also usually got recruited (even though temporarily) on the track team to just about every school around the world she had gone to.
Looking at the two of them, she feels as if her chance of making friends was being shot to hell and pleads in her mind, Please don't hate me.

And okay, lol, I know what you mean. I can't stay away from my lovely RP!!! ><))

Vincent turned his head back to the girl, but noticed that she was looking a bit shattered. 'Was it something I said?' he thought. He knew what girls looked like when they suppressed a certain emotion. He'd witnessed it hundreds of times with Kiki, and Kiki was the type of girl he'd like that was probably in the Athletic/Popular/Jock/Cheerleader group. Damn. could that girl run fast, though, and for more than 10 minutes in one session!

Carrying the conversation, he was still thinking back on the girl next to Rose, the girl he had lead to the cafeteria. She was being a lot more silent than before... Perhaps she was shy?

(( Oh, and... Going to bed! Night all! biggrin ))

"Not really... We're converting eachother... She's got me running I've got her in black." She grinned.

Christopher gave a small nod as Star finished. Well… That was pretty nice. His roommate hadn’t insulted him throughout her whole entire introduction thing… Oh dang. It was his turn now wasn’t it?

“…Well, you all ready know my name thanks to that moron on my cell,” he started, giving his head a small shake. This was going to be harder than he thought… “…There’s nothing much about me you need to know, really. All I’ve got to say is that I have a twin brother and the reason as to why I’m attending this school is because of… Family matters,” he ended awkwardly, inwardly cursing his lack of conversational skills.
