That is the real issue here.

Sin will just try to kill him again.

If it was more or less a "I thought you would live/escape" type attack like swinging a sword at someones head its one thing.

Its another when he already stated he is going to kill and kill and kill until he gets DQ'd.

JUDGEFACE. >:3

I have one question to ask you, Striker, and it requires either a "yes" or a "no". Nothing more, nothing less.

Do you want your character to die?
It requires more than a yes or a no, because that can be twisted multiple ways.

Of course, no I don't want my character to die; but in a way, it'll add to the character in more ways than one. I've already discussed this with Vintrict, and he'll come back after his resurrection with 25% reduced strength.

If I said yes, I wanted my character to die, it would look like I was trying to get a free pass to the second round, which I am NOT trying to do. However, with what already happened, it is quite obvious that if the call is reversed, he will over-power himself once more to try and kill my character again. I'm not willing to deal with the drama, so I'd take the character's story advancement and nerf for the second round over that any day.

s**t's ridiculous.

I mean, if you really want to see Sin go out of his way to kill Striker's character again, sure, reverse the decision.

Or, alternatively, we can judge that Sin was playing his character incorrectly and spare Vincent from a death (and penalties for said death) he shouldn't have had to take.

But no, leaving it uninvestigated is more conveniant, so lets just do that.

Shitsux when the other guy's being a douche.

Simple matter is, unless he gets a new opponent, things are really not going to change regardless.

I've slammed a dude when he had me in an armbar.

Albeit, he's 135 lb, and I was around 200 lb at the time, and we were just sparring because he wanted to see how hard it would be to fight someone of a different size.

Obviously, getting armbar'd by someone your own size is an entirely different matter. But if a guy is like six weightclasses BELOW you, chances are you're going to be able to do some serious s**t to them unless they lock that ******** in TIGHT or you're on the ground.

If someone spinning/standing armbars you or some s**t and you're like 4x their size, that's their problem.

No, it requires only a yes or no.

Okay then. That's all I need to know to make my call on it. *posts in the relevant JUDGE thread*

I could take Sin's place!

Course, fighting a dragon in spikey armor might not be the best opponent for my human!

BUT WHO CARES!

No, if that's what will actually happen without me having to go through the entire drama of fighting him again and suffering the drama, then yes, I will gladly help you investigate.

However, I guarantee that drama will come out of this conversation we're having now, even though I've already come to terms with my character only being 75% of his former self come second round.

@Darth: That was the argument I tried to make. Sin's character was 160 lbs, Vince is 280. Being slammed by that in an arm-bar that was sloppily thrown together while having your wind-pipe crushed in would more than likely have serious repercussions.

Yes, you can do it.

But you have to remember the average grappler isn't trying to RIP your arm off. That is very malicious and despite what many think very few are willing to do this. Even if they try sometimes the mind stops them.

Purely on mechanics if you were to lift say me, I weigh 155 lbs and am 5'6" and I have you in a full extended armbar and then you sit up and pick me up, you just lost your shoulder.

Because I can still extend my hips and push on you. You might still be able to fall onto me, but you now have a useless arm. It just isn't the correct escape and is very very dangerous.

In the world of Gaia, in which breaking someones arm isn't going to seem that bad; no one is holding back.

That's more than a 100 lb difference.

That's like me being 190, and some dude who's.. 70 lb trying to armbar me.

So it's like an eight year old armbarring me or some s**t.

So, I'd post what my official opinion is, but again, I don't know if I'm allowed to.
