That's what I said. FFTA2 was AMAZING.
I'm a bigger fan of the original on playstation. Though its incarnation on the PSP added some nice spice to the game, if not butchering the character names a bit.

Yes, I'd heard from a reliable source (read: JB) that War of the Lions was an amazingly well done remake of the game... and not just some other game loosely based on it like FFTA was.

The system felt a little strange with how they did some of the renaming ((seeing as I played the crap out of the ps version and practically had the damn thing memorized)). They changed some of the skill names, some of the character names, but overall its the same game with the same excellent feel with added cut scenes.
Sadly the copy I have lags a bit. =[
