The pathetic words that she had heard uttered from Ceon's mouth so many times before was like having a mini parasite with claws hacking away at the insides of her skull. This excuse had been made way too many times before to excuse his poor behaviour and she was beginning to tire of it. Still, though, Meredith chose to hold back and survey a little longer though the wolf in her compelled her otherwise, however, the hunter told her to wait and remain neutral until Ceon gave her the reason she required to attack him justly.

"If you choose not to learn from the past nor let it go then that is an issue that cannot be helped. And pursuing your past so childishly is your own choice to make and the consequences in the end will be the same. You've gone this route before but you don't seem to realize that it's not going to get you anywhere but where you're coming from right now. What satisfaction do you gain from killing someone who's lost their memories and everything that they had before? I'd say that's your revenge right there."

'I don't understand this revenge these humes always speak of. Why don't you just kill him if he's insisting on repeating his past? If he's too daft to see he's repeating his past then you might as well spare him from his misery and end it for him now. His existence is pathetic, he's not a true warrior worthy of respect.'

'Ceon's jaded and unable to see past the things that truly hold him down and limit him. And yes he doesn't appear to learn his lessons very well so far but he could somehow change ...'

'Such hume terms ... a person changing, especially one who's existed as long as he. Those are far-fetched, I can hear the doubt in you, the lack of conviction is amusing and concerning all at once. Either way your words are excuses to not take action that you know is inevitable either way.'

'This isn't just about me. I have a duty as a hunter, too and I can't simply disregard it because I know the most likely outcome of a situation. I have to wait for him to give me proper provocation or else I will have an entire pack of your kind trying to avenge his death.'

The disapproval of the wolf was something Eden was hyper aware of, not just because she was connected with the being and could feel it but because of the way it spoke to her. It definitely had a more straight-forward way of dealing with things and at one point she might have agreed with it but since her training she'd learned a lot about responsibility on top of discipline. She couldn't just strut around doing whatever she pleased, she had her limits and the wolf would have to learn them.

"Your nurse's death? How did that come about? Anyhow, if you're simply seeking peace and wish to be escorted to the hospital I can do that and if Ceon here insists upon trying to harm you I can have some people of authority watch over you for the time you remain in the hospital. Or I suppose you could come to our personal hospital wing if you don't mind being blind-folded since I can't let you know where it is since you're not one of us. Most people don't choose the blind fold option, though, too much trust involved so I'll understand if you decline it. However, I would be able to protect you there a lot better than in a public hospital. The choice is yours, kid."

Kaiel sighed, "That thing killed her. With a gun." He looked up at her, chocolate eyes flashing with indecision of the two choices. He hated the hospital he currently resided in and actually never wanted to go back to it but there was no way he could trust these things. The woman did save him though and that wasn't something he couldn't deny so easily. Before he could actually make up his mind a voice sounded from behind him, from three trees tightly grown together.

"He's mine." Kiara stepped forward her long black hair billowing out behind her from the sudden gust of wind. She wore a calm, serene look on her face as she reached to stand behind Kaiel. She smelled like a human, looked and moved like one, if not a bit more graceful. Ceon would know though, that something wasn't right with this woman. After all he had put a bullet in her before he started chasing after Kaiel again. She looked unruffled, untouched, unharmed. "I apologize and thank you at the same time for stepping in for my ward but I will take him back with me."

Kaiel jumped in his skin when he heard his nurses voice. He could have sworn he'd heard the gun shot and sound of the bullet ripping through flesh (he didn't think that hearing that well was wrong or different) and the thud of the petite body hitting the ground, but here she was. Perfectly fine. He looked up at her eyes frightened his paler than before. "You're alive...? But how?"

Kiara shrugged and lied, "The man missed me. A piss poor shot if you me. Now lets go Kaiel, time for sleep." She held out a small, slim hand out him.

Ceon grunted harshly, deciding between calming down and attacking someone again. His mind may not have grown much, but his body had, leaving him more powerful since the time he fought Jaden. As his lips cracked open to form words, his hair stood on end when Kiara walked back into the scene. Ceon cocked a brow in curiosity, but also in confusion. He watched as the bullet from his gun planted itself inside the nurse, yet she remained unscathed. Something was definitley up, and Ceon hands twitched even more now with the thought of attacking her, yet his mouth hung open in amazement. There was no we she was human.

|| So instead of having some awesome, flying chest fly across my screen there was a fat cat flying across it instead ... WHAT DOES IT MEAN!? Lol. ||

Eden could have told Ceon within two seconds flat of observing the girl that she was definitely no human even with the information that she'd apparently died and come back to life. There was simply a strange aura about her that both the hunter and the wolf could sense. The hunter knew it from experience, as did the wolf, weeding out the irregulars from the garden known as New York they infested. Some leeched from the other plants while others simply existed harmlessly among them and others simply ruined the garden's charm altogether. Each weed was different and in the case here this girl was definitely a type of weed, Eden just needed to figure out which type she was and fast.

From further judging of Kaiel and Ceon's reactions to this woman's appearance and the fact she'd been shot with a gun and had survived, Eden had a few conclusions she could be lead to now. If she knew the type of round Ceon carried on him, she had a suspicion it wasn't silver, then this would make determining what she was easier as well. However, from both Ceon's and Kaiel's reactions they'd taken this woman for dead and she clearly wasn't. The fact that she was trying to cover it up by saying Ceon had missed her entirely was bogus if both of them had agreed she must have been dead.

"He's yours, huh? I have no qualms with that, taking him off my busy hands isn't exactly something I'm going to complain about. I was just making sure he didn't get killed by Mr. Dough Brain Tough Guy here."

Perhaps Ceon was stronger, evidently he was, but so was Eden now that she had much more control over herself and her wolf. She was now able to call upon the aid of her other side whenever she sought the need for assistance and the wolf and her cooperated now as opposed to clashed for dominance. The wolf had accepted that she was a strong spirit and was not to be dominated but respected. They had formed the proper understanding and respect for one another and now they were a formidable duo that wouldn't want to be crossed unless someone had a death wish. The wolf and hunter that Eden had now become were not, by any means, to be disregarded after all the intense training she had left New York to undergo.

'I don't like that lady. Something's not right with her, she's not as she appears somehow, my instincts tell me so. I don't like it when people choose to hide things, it usually doesn't result in anything good. Be on your guard.'

'Aren't I always? But yeah, getting weird vibes from this one for sure. And Ceon and that kid are both weirded out that she's alive so it'd be best to keep an eye on both her and Ceon since he seems like he's about to blow his fuse as per usual. Guess who's going to have to deal with his b.s. again ... Ugh ...'

Kiara smiled at Ceon's gaze her hand still out stretched to Kaiel. "Did you think I would be so easy to kill? Not all human's are weak. Kaiel please?" She returned her gaze to Kaiel

Kaiel shivered. He was surrounded by crazy weird things that should only exist in the movies he's seen at the hospital. He stood up, taking the womans hand. He looked at all the faces surrounding him and sudden;y he took off. He need out of here. He didn't want to be anywhere near any of those people.

Kiara sighed and looked back up at Ceon, "This is your fault. If you hadn't attempted to kill me, he would have returned to the hospital and he wouldn't have any knowledge of YOU people." She shook her head and started walking after the flee man.

Kaiel wasn't paying attention to where he was going his gaze was blurred as he ran his thoughts lost in what had happened. He skidded to a stop and blinked, his vision returned. He noticed he was now behind the female and Kiara was gone. Kaiel had learned in the hospital to always go with HIS instict and apparently his instict returned him to the monsters. Not noticing that the amount of running at the speed would have worn a normal human, he said to the woman's back, "I'll go with you."

Eden remained stationary as she inspected the girl further, trying to figure out what or who she was since she didn't give off a scent that wasn't human. It was puzzling to both her and her inner wolf but they both knew there was no possibility both of their instincts were wrong. A gun shot, no matter what it was, would leave any human incapacitated at the least and dead at the most. No bullet wounds simply wasn't a possibility or an option in this situation unless she was able to heal, thus rendering her inhuman. Now for why she insisted on lying about what she was. Was she afraid of being hunted? Most likely.

Her eyes flickered over to focus on Kaiel, though, once he began making a sudden movement, the wolf in her almost lashing out from the severity of his jerky movement. However, she withheld herself from acting upon her surprise and observed as the boy that was Razu fled from the three of them. It remained to be answered why Razu had lost his memory and why he thought he was someone named Kaiel. What significance had this Kaiel persona had in his life? Perhaps this girl was somehow feeding off of him while feeding him lies at once and that was why she chose to keep her identity hidden. It was impossible to know, there was too little to go on and Eden was going to have to figure a few things out. Perhaps Ceon knew more than she did, maybe she could ask him about this later.

Just as she was preparing to leave the scene since the kid had fled and Ceon hadn't bothered to pursue her ears picked up the heavy pattering of feet and surely enough once she turned around there was Kaiel. There was no surprise on her part, however, there was a smirk once he gave her his response as to what he wished to do. At least he was starting to take some matters into his own hands instead of letting that nurse lady decide for him. "You're sure you're fine with being blind-folded? It's a huge trust issue for some people so I'm warning you now, it's for security sake and the safety of my people. So as long as you're fine with that then we're good to go. It's up to you."

Leaning back heavily in the rear seat of the New York taxi Mk'Venner yawned lazily as he peered out of the window at the familliar streets, gridlocked as usual, drivers blared their horns and yelled profanitys from their windows as if it might help shift the traffic. Ven's own Driver was a particularly foul mouthed Polish gentleman and he let stream a flurry of slavic cursing as they were cut up for the fith time in as many minutes, Ven had had enough.
He was hungry, thirsty and tired from jet-lag, worse still the stress headaches were setting in. He elected to slog the rest of the distance on foot, it was only a few blocks from his booked hotel and he was travling light.

Leaning forward he tapped on the plexiglass screen between himself and the driver his driver to get his attention and pressed forward an handful of bills "Here, I think I can make it from here" he spoke with a hint of london accent as he waved the bills "This ought to cover the fare... You can keep the change".
Pulling over to the side of the road his driver was all smiles as he unlocked the doors from his cab, holding a hand from his window to take the cash "Thank you, thank you... very kind... you have good stay, yes" he grinned before pulling away back into the traffic.

Glad to finally be free of the confines of the car Ven grinned as pulled up his collar and began heading towards the familliar gates of central park, not only would a short cut through here almost halve his journey time but it was a lovely evening, why not take a little stroll and soak up a little of the night air?
"Ahh New York... did you miss me?". He laughed and hefted his small rucksack higher onto his shoulders as he walked.

By the time Eden, Kaiel, and the undead nurse had discussed what will happen and what should happen, Ceon had grown bored to the point of not even being interested of Kaiel running. He really didn't enjoy talking, even when talking to people himself; feeling that actions speak louder than words. "Ughh.....you people have become a nuisance, and I need a drink. Good night..." With that, Ceon walked off, headed to the nearest bar.

Kaiel shrugged, "I suppose if you must. Just...get me out of here. I need to be somewhere else but here. That hospital is stifling." Kaiel closed his eyes trying to show that he would trust her enough to where he would even be able to see her now.

"Alright then. Don't think I was kidding about the blindfold part, though. Here, I won't slap it on you myself, I'll let you do it so you don't feel like I'm trying to man handle you or anything. Once you can't see s**t we can get right the hell out of here and have Gail take a look at you. She's our medical expert and she'll probably be able to help you better than anyone else out there anyhow."

Meredith waited, uncharacteristically patiently for the lycan with his memory loss to proceed to blindfold himself. She'd find Ceon and deal with him later if another retarded incident like this arose. All he seemed to do was stir up trouble and try to hurt other people or start fights with them so she was going to have to add him under her radar. A rogue lycan causing mischief was no good and she couldn't help but wonder what the hell had happened to his pack leaders. Where were they in order to discipline him and keep him in his place? Not really her business but something she wondered despite herself.

She looked back to see that Kaiel had indeed blindfolded himself as she'd requested and she escorted him over to her mode of transportation: a motorcycle. Once she gave him a helmet (in the case she might crash and cause him more brain damage) she took off headed toward haven. As she zipped along she didn't see much that seemed to be out of the ordinary but she couldn't shake the feeling that something had changed within the city and she couldn't tell whether it was sinister or beneficial as of yet.

Mkvenner's top pocket began to vibrate, opening he fished out his PDA and flipped open its screen, one new message. Skim reading as he walked he abruptly changed direction and began taking one of the many backroutes that had become so familliar over the years as he headed back to haven. Slipping the little black box back into its pocket he broke into a jog "This had better be good" he thought.

A lamppost beside a park bench flickered several times before leaving the surrounding area in darkness. This darkness quickly expanded and contracted, revealing a dark figure seated on the park bench. The light flickered on, illuminating her face, which had changed in the passing months.

To the human eye, her change wouldn't be perceptible. To the supernatural eye, however, the change was evident. Alexz's very being radiated a newly introduced darkness. Her eyes, which had previously been clear and kind, were now swirling pools of darkness. Her features seemed to have sharpened slightly. The calm and collected expression she was rarely seen without had cracked, revealing the exhaustion she felt.

Sliding down in her seat, she rested her head on the back of the bench. A cigarette drifted out of her pocket, lit itself, and settled between her lips. She sighed, expelling a cloud of smoke into the crisp autumn air.

"I feel like a ******** newborn," she thought to herself.

Despite the difficulty of controlling the Void, she had faith herself. Whenever Alexz worried about the Void getting the best of her, she thought of how she had overcome the challenges she had faced with her psychic abilities. She had come such a long way since her turning and trusted that she could go equally as far with the Void. But it was awfully tiring.

Her eyes gently shut and she allowed herself to relax for a few moments.

Lance settles at a bench in Central park. He's munching on a sandwich he bought from a nearby subway. All vegetables, so although he wants to enjoy it, he isn't.

((Just a bit of a heads up, when you post, do it in 3rd person.

Example: "Veroen quietly sat down on a bench in the middle of the central park area, and pulled a vegetable sandwich out from the confines of his clothing. He looked at it distastefully as he proceeded to bite into its white exterior, despite its horrid taste."))
