Maddy disappeared from her rock out in the ocean, and a reppeared standing on the shore. She slipped a glove off her left hand, the fingers had been cut off, and looked at the purple scar that shone on her palm. She frowned slightly, trying to understand what the scar meant. She then though back to her nightmare battle with Cyrus and Darkrai. On an impulse, she snapped her fingers, but nothing happened. She blinked a couple times, feeling quite stupid. Shrugging, she walked off, heading back to HQ. But she felt a strange presence deep inside her, nagging her, pulling at her thoughts as if trying to drag her deep into her own mind. She slipped on her glove over her left hand again, and just disappeared from sight.

Sammy was jumped on by Blitzen, who was trying to gain her attention. "... It's times like these that I wish I was in solitary...." She sighed, still scrubbing ashes off of the wall.

Cody grabbed a wet rag and started to help Sammy. "Do you mind if we talk for a minute or so?"

"You're a friend; you get two minutes," Sammy laughd, "what's up?" Blitzen continued to try and grab the spotlight, but a glare from Sammy made him run under the couch, and there he stayed.

Jack laid down on the couch and sighed. He was tired and didn't know where to lay down at so he just laid there. He let Aurn out and Crimson was sleeping at his feet, keeping him warm. Aurn snuggled up to Jack and Jack embraced his Pokemon.

Sammy took a quick glance back at Jack; it always made her happy, to see a trainer bonding with their pokemon.

Sammy thought about it for a moment, then snapped her fingers. "Yep! I remember that." She said, nodding her head in a rythmic motion. Blitzen peered from under the couch, only the tip of his nose visible from under the couch.

"You remember why, right?" Cody asked as Grovyle popped out of his pokeball and sang, "Can you feeel the loooove?" Cody took his pokeball, but Grovyle ran off.

Sammy said nothing, just simply nodded. It had been a very awkward situation that she had tried her best to erase from her mind. She hated having to let people down, but sometimes it had to be done.

"Kai is in a different battle right now, Mr. Ginji..." Sammy said, still a bit disappointed. Sammy began to perk up though, as she said, "Well, I'm assuming you're doing good."
