[Enter from Central Park] Kalan dodged a few people as she made her way through a group. The chilly weather certainly hadn't stopped the flow of party goers. The city was huge. Kalan walked constantly having to look down at a map to find her position again. Chaos was all around. Nightclubs and bars lined the roads with flashing lights, inviting entrance, while drunkards roamed the streets. Though it wasn't too crowded at night the city was still impossible to navigate.
Finding the city itself much better lit than the park, Kalan pulled out her map yet again. "Aw, come on! I'm not even near a residential area!" She sighed folding it back up. Wandering around all night wouldn't solve anything. She'd have to ask for directions. Kalan could feel the net of energy flowing around her. It was thick like water. She slid up against a wall letting people pass her. "I'll never get anywhere at this pace." she said, letting her shield slip. She could feel the warm guard she had made in her mind slide out of place. She unblocked her senses.
Suddenly everything was sharper, clearer. She picked up everything as she lifted the barrier. The scent of water filled the air. It would rain later that night, perhaps the next day at the latest. The smell of drinks from the bars came in sharp contrast to the night air. She heard laughter and loud music ringing from a building across the street. And last but not least, she could she the people around her.
A man walked past her and looking closer she could see the horn in the middle of his forehead. What appeared to be a young couple at first glance was indeed a vampire luring a girl into a building. Kalan winced fighting the urge to run. She had never seen so many creatures in one place. It was dangerous. She pressed herself against the wall as far as she could. The smell of damp forest floor light on the breeze passed her. The scent from the park was mixed with that of dogs. Kalan froze, her heart quickening. She slid into an alleyway short of breath. "Asher, where are you?" the whispered prayer escaped her lips softly.
This part of New York must have been controlled by the dogs. Looking out she could see numerous wolves. She could feel the before battle tenseness saturating the area. When Kalan couldn't stand feeling other's emotions any longer she pulled herself away from the populated streets into the back ways and alleys of the city. Ducking into an alley she breathed, "They were everywhere.." She could still feel the weight of eyes on her, but it had become constant. Kalan pressed her back up against the wall again as she rested catching her breath.

-Stops at a young girl, Kalan-
"Hey!, See you need help. Want a ride?"
-He nods his heaad to the right trying to show here that those lycans were coming close to where they have parked, he also showed her his two custom desert eagle. He hopes he can trust her, this city is just to big for little girls. His gaze sharpens-
"Come on... I am a hunter you can trust me...." He whispers lightly.

After spotting his target he noticed something strange, after walking for a while she all of a sudden looked around with great intrest "wierd" he said to nobody in perticular he saw her run into a nearby alleyway. he was getting very intrested now, he started to get closer for a better look but suddenly a hunter came out of nowere and started talking to her. his voice sounded familiar, then he remembered the person he heard yelling earlier "now things are getting really intresting" he thought to himself.

" So you think a did'nt notice you on the rooftops? I can smell you."
-Seems to be taking to the air-
" I am one of you but instead of killing mortals I protect them, So we going to meet or are you going to stalk your "Prey" some more."

Spes Unus "Well, since we are both so very new to this city, wouldn't it be a good idea to become acquainted with some of the more-important sights and locations?" Elyan suggested. He crossed his arms in thought, a quirk he often did as a human. Some things never changed, even after six-hundred years. "This city is full of 'important' places. Of course..." He paused for a moment, glancing towards Holly. "Of course, there are places which involve a local coven and their doings." The matters of the coven didn't mean anything to Elyan. In fact, he preferred not to be associated with them as to not get dragged into their war with the other races.
"Tell me, are you associated with the coven found here in New York?" Elyan asked, his face seeming more serious. "You don't seem the type to fall into their ranks, but I'm just curious." Regardless of her answer, he'd stick around. She was his best chance for survival at the moment so it'd be a bad idea to just cut ties with her. "Where ever we go it is probably advisable to leave this area seeing as it will become a crime scene investigation area and if witnesses happen to tag us then we're going to have a spot of trouble on our hands. Whether we did something wrong or not will not matter because we could possibly inform the authorities of what possibly happened. Justice has it's own flaws and no matter what system humans try to work out, there will always be a flaw and there will never be fairness for everyone. They try too hard to make this place perfect when that can never be so. I do not understand why they cannot see such things. Anyhow, I'm off topic. Here, we should walk while we discuss where it is we are headed." She put her plum coloured trench coat on and began walking away from the alley, her stiletto heels still creating an echo throughout the night.
Upon Elyan suggesting she might be a part of the coven and suggesting it she almost cringed at the idea. Covens always fell apart, the elders always corrupt. She wanted nothing to do with being an underling and if the elders had issues with free vampires roaming the city then she was possibly in for more excitment than she'd anticipated. "I have had nothing to do with the ordeals of the coven. I have yet to meet a vampire who is associated with it and quite frankly I do not want to have anything to do with it. Perhaps our kind sticking together is good but covens are always twisted in some manner and I do not wish to be a part of such things. If they happen to contact me then I suppose I will have to respond but hopefully that day does not come. I simply wish to be left alone. I have no wish to deal with some coven."

david was shocked, how did the hunter know he was there? no normal person could smell a lycan from the distance between them. no matter what mattered right now was the hunter spotting him. he jumped down from the rooftop, anybody looking at him at that moment would see somebody fall a great length and land with great elegance. he hoped he could convince the hunter that he was simply sharpening his skills, he did not want to kill her. he started walking toward the hunter, hands raised so he showed that he ment no harm "okay" he said"you found me" first he wanted to see what the hunter would do next before he decided what to do himself, perhaps there would be no reasoning in this man, he wanted to find out.

Kalan caught the scent of trees and saw grass on the boy's feet. He had been in the park? "Were you, following me?" She asked quietly, pushing her hand into her pocket. She saw his figure distort a bit and squinted. The form of the boy then changed into that of a looming gray wolf. Kalan took a few steps closer to the biker noting his appearance as well. A strange cold feeling had seeped into the surrounding area, and she didn't like it.

Kalan blinked. Turning her head to the boy on a bike she saw beneath the guise. Her left hand slipped behind her back to the cold metal of her gun in it's holster. "I'm not unarmed wolf.." She inched away from them both. "And I can handle myself around your kind, but thanks for the offer." She said as her eyes flickered between them. She was in an unpopulated area. A smaller tiff wouldn't be noticed.
