"I would not sweat it if you were not laughing so much!" Baizou protested, curiosity turning into worry. "Elliiiie! You started a thought, you have to finish it!" Oh yes, it was the dreaded, 'Nevermind' trap he had heard so many guys talk about. A female's mind was an extremely complex labyrinth. Saying something like 'It's nothing' and 'Don't worry about it' were like holding up a big red sign that shouted 'THIS IS SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT!' and "YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT THIS!'

"Really, love! I was only being silly!" she defended, eyebrows raising a little bit. Eyes rolling in a small circle, she snuggled up to his side. "I-I meant what I said. You get more.. err.. bedtime 'fun'," she made airquotes, face quite red, "than your blonde counterpart." She giggled again, smirking up at him. "Do not worry so much, my love."

Baizou nodded, visibly relaxing, "Oh! Well, why did you not just say so?" He asked with a light chuckle. "I do not know about Tomo. He has two children, after all..." He murmured, "Although I have never asked him how much sex he has on a whole." He didn't seem to find this topic an awkward one. He also seemed to miss the humor directed towards his testosteronely challenged counterpart.

"You are.. silly." Ellie said, tapping her chin as she tried to think of a better word to say it. There really wasn't one. Baizou was just... Baizou. And it was fantastic, better no other way. She turned pink, bumping her hip into him playfully, as she smiled up at him, swaying back and forth.

Baizou sighed, knowing that he was most definitely missing something. He didn't really mind. "I know." He said with a slightly dramatic sigh. He kissed her forehead and sat up on the bartop. "So, did you spend all day finding ways to spoil me?" He asked, pulling the bandanna off.

"Yes." she replied, stepping in front of him, his legs on either side of her. Ellie snuggled happily into his chest, arms instantly wrapping around him again, as she sighed. "I am almost sleepy! Good thing for coffee, nn?" Pulling closer to him, her wings rested contently as she started to hum a little bit, the same song that she had sang when cooking their food last night.

"Sleepy?" Baizou asked, arching an eyebrow, "Maybe you should not have stayed up so late, last night." He suggested. He leaned forward and reached for her hands. "I think the coffee is almost ready. Although, you may not be able to sleep at all afterward." He murmured, thinking about the possibilities.

Kaen made her way carefully down the stairs. Her skin was lighter than usual, showing that she was under stress. She kept her tail perfectly still, not wanting to disrupt her already shaky balance. She glanced up as she neared the bottom of the stairs and smiled softly at Baizou and Ellie. "Hey, what's going on you two?"

Nox Umbrae somewhat cautiously opened the door to the Demented Muffin, walking inside with the unnatural grace of a vampire. Despite the warm night outside, he was wearing a long coat and a red scarf around his pale neck. The bottom of the coat nearly touched the ground because of Nox's short stature, but he carried himself in such a way as to imply that he was taller and more intimidating (which of course he was not).
Nox made his way to the bar, his combat boots clunking softly on the floor. He sat at a stool, thinking to himself that he needed a stiff drink.

The seven year old, red headed boy at the bar looked up at the arrival of what were to him new people. Curiously he looked back and forth between the two, noting that yet another person had animal ears and a tail.
