Min, that royally sucks. I hope things turn out well. My grandfather is not doing too well either. He can hardly breathe nowadays and my step-grandma is an herbalist so he doesn't go to a doctor (She is strongly against them). I think using herbs are cool, but you should go to a doctor also. I'm scared for him. Plus what he has is pretty much uncurable.
I wish you luck with your grandparents Min. When you are around them, stay postive. The more positive you are, the more they will be. Thus, their bodies will fight harder to rid the disease. At least, that what helped my grandmother a couple of years ago. :/

Minerva, let me starts by attempting to hug you. *Hugs* I can only imagine what your going through and I wish you and your family the very best of luck. I will pray for all of you tonight.
I know from personal experience how hard it is to have a loved one with cancer, but I cant even begin to imagine what it must be like in your citation.
The one thing that helped me when I was depressed. (I was very depressed, which is very hard for anyone to deal with, didn't help that I was thirteen...which means nothing since I'm fourteen now) Music. I listened to Keep Holding On, by Avril Lavigne everyday when my Grandy was still living. Now don't get discouraged! She didn't die of the cancer. She survived the cancer...she was in remission for three hours, went home...and had a stroke that night. Anyway enough with my issues.
Music just seemed to give me hope, and comfort when no one else could offer either.
I wish you the best.

Wow... it seem's everyone has a sad story except for me. Not that isn't a bad thing. I'm sorry for all of you, and Min, I will pray for all of you tonight.
I'm going to a party my friend is throwing and mostlikely getting drunk, and since it's on a boat, I won't be able to go home. The happy thing is I'm just glad that I'm finally over age and can drink. I love London's rules. smile

I went to my neighbors house with like 40 other people and we played video games and board games all night. It was quite fun.

Happy 2009 everybody!
I didn't do anything exciting for New Years. I stayed home and converted all 25 of my CDs to my new iPod, watched the ball drop on TV, then joined the millions of others in texting all my friends as soon as it turned 12:01 am.
By the way, thank you to everybody who has voted for me already!

I hung around with Alice. It was great. We has virgin mimosas...but I'm questioning weather they were virgin or not. Haha.
Its some of my horses birthdays today! I went out and gave them all carrot cake! Happy birthday Peter, Streak, Jeffrey, Riley, Trick and TouJours!

Ooohh gawd, I am a little drunk right now sad . Stupid party. My brother gave me a drink and I guess it was spiked. Well, I guess that's you get when you go home for the holiday's, eh?

Haha. Well all American thoroughbreds age on the same day! So technically its not there real birthdays...but we like to pretend!
I'm horse showing this weekend, so I wont be available. If you have a twitter I may be able to update at the hotel, or from my mobile if I can get it to work.

Min I don't know if you've read it yet but I posted about your grandparents on the shelf. I hope everything turns out ok.
And Scottie is going to be here for the next couple of days, tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary, so I won't be on that much.. course I haven't been on much lately anyway...
the reason being that Kyra is living here and between her and Phil I can't ever get on. However, for my birthday I got a laptop and it now has internet and virus protection so I will be on more!

Back from the horse-show. It was fun I road Ringo, and Romeo. I've ridden Ringo before and he was amazing, like always...but Romeo...not so much. I had never even heard of him. Lets just say a western reining horse doesn't make a good equitation English horse. *Sigh* But it was was regardless. Yesterday I schooled horses Rumor, Boomer, J.J., and Riley, they were all good with the exception of Riley, I was the second rider to try and get this horse to listen...she bucked five times before we got smart and Kyle got on her. He was too strong for her to resist his commands. Hehe. The horse was pulled during her first class since she bucked, and spooked. mad P;
My team got Champion both Saturday and Sunday! That mean we've come in Champion every show except two...we got Reserved Champion! Hehe.

I haven't really been on much either...I've been super busy. Two year anniversary! Congrats!
Pure Potter: I've been excited for a while now! Haha, I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Mia, you and Kyra are living together? You're both so nice that I wish I could come over and visit! whee (Yes, I mean that a completely non-stalker-ish way since I've never met anyone on Gaia IRL before. Well, I have, but I knew them before I joined Gaia.) Of course, being across the ocean is a bit of a problem. If only I had a portkey...
