"well silver, you are extremely perceptive, that much is certain" he said when silver mentioned them meeting before.
"you see, you know me well, in fact you owe me quite a few favors....logan hasn't reared his butt ugly head recently has he??" he asked as a subtle hint as to who he was.

I spun around and raised an eyebrow. "How do you..." I cut off mid-sentence. There were only a few people that had been there and the only one this could be is... "Mor...tis?" I looked at him, very confused. "But how did you?! You're a demon??!!" I was beyond confused at this point.

"my my, i was right...you ARE very perceptive" he said to add confusion. he thought it was fun that no one knew him anymore.
"well...with the help of a spell..and a power hungry soul stealing demon who terrorized my friends to the point where i snapped...i have become the last of a dying breed, a blood demon." he said to explain.

After I listened to what Mortis has said, I shook my head slowly. I then walked over to the couch and sat down. "This doesn't make any sense. Did you become a demon on purpose or was it against your will? ...and...uh...who is he?" I pointed at the child Mortis was carrying.

"i did it....for love.....the soulstealer took my love athena away....i sacrificed my vampirism to save her." he explained.
"and this....this child belongs to a friend of mine, she's having a problem at the moment....an ancient spririt is attempting to take over her body, i brought the boy here so that the spirit doesn't see fit to try and kill someone that means alot to her." he also explained as he bounced kadaj in his arms.

Fate suddenly lurched from her bed. She was in such deep meditation, she hadn't heard Silver's knock. "WHO IN HELL'S NAME IS OUT THERE?!" As her door was thrown open, she immidiately ran in and confronted the situation. Eyes bloodshot and prepared to defend what's hers, Fate stopped abruptly. "S-Silver?" This only made her fume more. "What authority do you have you have, breaking into my home?! I ought to kick you out for this! There is a reason man invented the lock." Taking a sufficient glance at the demon next to him, she persed her lips. She'd heard one of them mention the name, 'Mortis'. "Mortis, is that you? What happened to you, dear?" She then took notice of the child. "And who might this be?"
Slightly cooled at the sight of a child, Fate glanced back to Silver. He was obviously in pain. "..Are you alright..?"

"I guess that makes sense, Mortis. And I thought my life was complicated." I glanced at the child again. "Nice of you to do that."
It was at this point that Fate came out of the bedroom. I looked behind me. "I thought you weren't home. I did knock you know. Locks are mortal tools...not very necessary for us, right?" I glanced at Mortis again. "How did you know it was Mortis so fast? It took me a little bit to figure it out and he had to give me a hint." Mortis did look a lot different, but there were some things that he did that would always remain Mortis. When Fate asked if I was okay, I looked away. "I'm fine. The medicine Myythren gave me is starting to work, though it gives me blinding headaches. According to her, I should be completely healed by tomorrow. I just hope it works that fast."

"Well, I am home, and I didn't hear you. I thought you'd be out all night anyway." She scowled abit as he persued to prove her wrong. "But they should indicate something, that is all I am saying."
She glanced at Mortis and the child once again. "Mortis Vibrissa will always be Mortis, no matter what race he is. It shames me to think that you wouldn't recognize that." ..That and the fact he stalked me for about a month of my none life.. She grinned to herself. What a admirable pest.
Fate nodded when Silver spoke of Myyth's healing agent. "Just be careful, can't have you wind up being road kill. I do hope you get well." She looked somewhat concerned that he wouldn't even look at her when he spoke. "Please, all of you, come in. Silver's already made the way." She incinuated towards the living quarters.

(Its really interesting that when you think about the whole time frame thing...its only been a couple days since Logan attacked in game. Kind of weird. whee )
"Well, I guess you would notice Mortis better, considering he was in your coven. We only met a couple days ago anyways." I leaned back into the couch, breathing slowly as another headache came. "I wish Myythren had given me something less potent that wouldn't hurt this much. It'd better do the job for all of this trouble. Oh!" I sat up again. "Dusk and all of the rest are alright. From what I overhead Dusk is wounded, but with Myythren there he should be fine. I'm relieved about that."

She sighed, leaning on the kitchen bar. "That's good news, I suppose." Fate couldn't help but feel Silver's pain. I should knock him out..at least then he wouldn't feel anything. She cringed when another headache came on. "As for the medication you were given, I do not know what to tell you." Fate glanced to where Mortis was.
"And as for you, I would like to commend and thank you. Your little "spies" were of some use to me, surprisingly enough. Thanks for caring about my well-being." She bowed somewhat to him.
"Silver, is there anything I can fetch for you?" Why should I be doing him any favors? Don't think like that, he tried. Meh..To what does that amount in today's world, sugoi?

"I just need some rest and i'll be okay. Thanks for offering though." The headache slowly faded away and I released my breath. I looked over and tried to concentrate on what she was saying. "His little spies? Are they anything like your bat?" Bats go with vampires so that made perfect sense and I assumed they would make good spies.

Fate quirked a brow. "What was that you were talking about earlier, in the restaraunt? ..Ah, was it steriotyping? Hai, I do believe it was." Fate shook her head. "Nien, they were two crows in human forms. Good attempt though." Such contradiction against oneself was bound to grow tiresome at some point. "And my bat is a companion. He doesn't frequently spy. I'll be sure to let you know of backgroumd information I find out about you when he does, though." She sneered slyly, a glint in her eye, a snide grin about her lips. Blackmail, anyone? Hai, Silver. She giggled in a joking manner.
