"Ah."
He put her down when they were sufficiently far away, expecting her to walk with him.
"I'm Siat."
He ran a hand through his crimson hair, then unfolded and folded his collar back down.

"Oh! It's nice to meet you Si...at. Siat. I'm Madison." She had a little challenge pernouncing it at first. But she managed to get it down pretty quickly, as fast as she was walking once more. Her glasses had slipped slightly which she quickly pushed up the bridge of her nose to allow her to see much more clearluy.
The quickly extended her arm out at him expecting a handshake of sorts.

He smiled a charming smile and gripped her hand gently, giving it a quick shake before letting go and returning both hands to his pockets. "It's a pleasure, Madison. What are you doing now, if it's not too rude to ask?"

She tapped her nose slightly with her hand and placed the other on her hip in thought causing her ear to twitch slightly in response to the taps.
"Well, I was going to head out to the market place." She nodded slightly in agreement with herself with a bounce to her hair. She looked at Siat and smiled up at home politely, it was rather child-like even for the young woman that she was.
"How about yourself?"

themightyjello "'s just a game, woman. Don't play unless you're out for fun." The beer was barely passable, the company marginally less so, all in all it wasn't turning out to be so bad a day after all. (( Despite that this 'day' has gone on for 2 months. biggrin )) And then someone threw a punch. Flare didn't know how it started, nor where; she wasn't paying much attention. Her first warning of the brawl was the man who got hurled across the room to go staggering straight into her lap, a hand groping drunkenly at her breast. That was enough for her latest mug of beer to go crashing down on the unfortunate man's head. Her interest in the fight was roused, and she stood to catch a random patron by the shirt and haul him up to meet her eyes before breaking his nose with her fist. A tankard got hurled in Joshua's direction; probably accident more than target, but whatever the original aim Joshua is where it was headed.

Joshua promptly guarded against the flung tankard by blocking it with his face.
Crash!
"...rrrrrrrrrrrr..."
The beer in hand was downed, and then he glared menacingly at everyone.
Rowdiness was all well and good, and barfights were a time-honored tradition for his people. But if they wanted him to get involved he was going to oblige them. This was just their chance to make sure they didn't.

If there was anyone in the tavern not solely concentrated on pummeling the person in front of him, they might have made some effort to fight around Joshua, if not stood well clear of him. Sadly, to a man they seemed engaged in brawling with anyone who got within arm's reach.
The next object to go hurling at Joshua was a person, flung away from a three person tangle at the other end of the bar.
For her own part, Flare was relieving a little bit of the stress from losing her match to Joshua by breaking faces through excessive use of blunt trauma.

And, as anyone should have been prepared for, that person went flying straight back at whomever had flung it.
There were no sleeves to roll up, so there was no need to bother with them. Someone was going to leave with a broken face tonight.

She looked at Siat and smiled up at home politely, it was rather child-like even for the young woman that she was. "How about yourself?" "Well," He gestured towards the sheathed sword on his hip. "I'm shopping." He grinned and stretched his arms, the muscles in his arm and chest flexing as he did so. "To the marketplace?" He began walking off, not waiting for an answer.

Madison blinked at his muscles and noticed before she was able to answer he was alreadybegining to move away from her. Quickly she began to scamper after him and quickly catching up with him after a few steps, with her white rabbit ears bouncy along quite happily. Her eyes focused on the sword located in his sheath and she smiled slightly, the was a nice sword.
"So are you looking for new weaponary?" Her hands gestured towards his hip slightly not in attempts to point to anywhere inappropriate.

((Not paying attention get))
"You could say that."
He made the relevant turn, and found himself within twenty meters of said marketplace. "Are you buying anything?" He didn't turn to face her, but did give her the courtesy of gently tugging her out of people's way, using his hand which was conveniently around her shoulders.

"Well I'm not entirely sure yet." With every one of her words she seemed to be guided through the crowd. She placed her hands inside her pockets and looked around the busy streets.
Her curious eyes wondered about looking to see if anything was there to catch her interest, a few shops where there were friendly folk hanging about. Now the question was, what was he looking for.

Making another sharp turn, he pulled her into a shop. Weapons? Weapons. Weapons. He released her, and immediately walked over to a rack, picking up a battle axe, about the same size as his sword, just a little longer than his arm. "What do you think of this?"

She looked at him and giggled slightly into her hands, the sword looked better. The rabbit wandered around the store slightly examining the variety of weapons around her. She was surprized that no one had poked their eye out yet. She then stopped to notice the short reach toys that she commonly played with, daggers, sais, mini battle axes, the works. And they were all there, glittering at her happily.
"...Wow..."

"What?" He was stood beside he, leaning over to see... whatever she was looking at. The axe was still firmly in his grip, held safety-style, axe head against the ground. The weapons in front of him glinted and shined, sat all nicely presented in their cabinet, even with accompanying lamps.
