I'll say a little prayer for you grace. Hope all goes well.

My youngest sister had to go through a lot of junk for missing school due to illness. My parents even had to go to court over it. It all such bull! scream

*hugs* How did it go Grace?

Well, overall, it went well. I didn't cry... which i am feeling really proud of myself for. I believe it was just the grace of God with me because i am the weepy type. I cried early this week at a debriefing meeting i had with a school official off the record. I cried this morning on the phone before the meeting. But.. as i went into the school and sat with my mom in the hallway. This peace just came into my heart.. and it was with me the whole day. Josh marvels that i'm not happy as can be.. because yes i did win. I did get what i hoped to walk away from that. However, I have really been just thinking today... we are now on a road where there is no going back from . Also, I am going to see what i can do to test some theories i have about school administration there. I signed up as a member of the PTA> i don't really plan on going to the stupid meetings... the typical people who run stuff like that tend to get me pissed off real fast... however, i figure being a paid member.. and go to at least 4 of their events this year... I will snag some noteriety... see if the way i'm treated betters or not... if it does.. then it will confirm some of what i've suspected in my observations in our district. if not.. then i will still look into some other things.

Oh, and you know what? remember me mentioning how they like to call CPS on people? heh. they called on the parents of a boy in naaman's class. and we know these parents. the mom is the younger sister of a guy who was best friends with one of my brothers for over ten years... who our family still remains friendly with till this day. her son is maybe 2 months older than naaman. Needless to say iknow them. this is the second time they have called CPS on them over bullshit stuff. It didn't happen to me, but it still pisses me off... because that could very well be any one of us parents in there. why should sending our children to school to get educated have to feel like such a burden for fear and loathing of educators who just know no bounds..... stare

grats... noone else in my family is having kids. Well, I have to say I'm rather glad my 18 yr old brother doesn't... he is a nice guy who will be a good dad. but he still needs to learn a little responsibility just yet... in another three four years... i can see him settling down with kids. my sister.. nto so sure... she always says she doesn't want them... i think she'd make a really good mom, but i hope she doesn't have one with the guy she is with now. rolleyes and my other brother who is only a few years younger than me. he is same one who lives with me. he has a girl who he wants tomarry next year. not really sure about kids with him... but, who knows. maybe it would make him a better person. but if he's like my dad it won't.

Heh, well don't give up hope, Grace. It worked for my brother. Having his (first) son changed his life. Before, responsibility never crossed his mind, and now he's one of the best parents I know, and preparing for his second child. heart

Hey Grace so glad to hear things turned out for you.

You know. At first, I was relieved.. and you would think I felt happy. but, it's not like I want naaman to have these issues. But, i mean... no use in skirting about them now is there? And, I am a procrastinator, but I can look at these things and say... I can put off my laundry, ok. I can put off various debt stuff that won't go away.. i cannot put off stuff that might result in naaman being any more behind than what he is... my work is so going to hate me calling off of tuesday. sweatdrop n and, saturday, i had a ten hr shift. Tonight, I just got home from 12 and a half hour shift. bleh. I am so ready for some rest... not even being on gaia very long.

In weird events, yesterday afternoon, my mom went to the hopsital after experiencing abdominal pain. Turns out they needed to do emergency gall bladder surgery and remove it lest it burst and kill her... so they did it this morning. so far her recovery seems to be going pretty well; however, she is a diabetic. So, they need to keep her in observation until tomorrow morning.
