Luke was also asleep with his dragon friend. His hand rested lazily on the soft leathery hide of Kaitani as he dreamed dreams of him chasing cheetahs that had some tarts he had tried once.

[OOC:] Us and those tarts, hm? Kaya chuckled a little when she realized Luke was asleep, as well. She lied back herself, curling against the dragon, who wasn't letting her go with his tail. Finally, the teacher realized just how tired she was from her first day of work, and she fell asleep herself.

After a while Luke began to wake up. The wolf sat up and yawned deeply before looking up at the sky. It was already sunset, meaning dinner would be served soon. Fortunately, him and Kaya probably hadn't missed anything important, meaning no one was looking for them.

Kaya was still asleep, curled with the dragon. Kaitani had woken up before Luke, but was still laying there, tail around Kaya as he looked up at the now awake wolf.

Luke looked to Kaitani and ge smiled, petting the reptile. "Hey buddy. You sleep well?" he asked, though keeping his voice low. Kaya was still sleeping. She looked so peaceful...

Kaitani yawned, burping a few ice crystals before blinking up at Luke, a grin-like expression on his mouth.

Luke didn't notice Kaitani looking at him. He was watching Kaya sleep. He didn't want to disturb her... She looked so peaceful. The old wolf didn't have the heart to wake her. He then looked at Kaitani, surprised to see a grin. For some reason it made him blush, as if Kaitani knew what he was thinking. "W-What?"

Kaitani's tail thumped on the ground in amusement and the dragon stood, moving carefully away from the woman. He rubbed his back against Luke's legs once, shot him the same grin again, then bounded back into the cave, ice crystal in his mouth as he did so. He returned to the still freezing ice block that Luke had created, curling up on the ground and chewing his toy. His mind was beginning to develop its human-like traits, so he could interpret Luke's expressions easier.

Luke watched as Kaitani rubbed against him, but left him there alone with the cheetah. He gulped some and looked over at Kaya. He took his coat off and laid it over her to keep her warm. She might be like this for a while. Besides, it was rude of a gentleman, like himself, to not offer a lady their coat for comfort.

Kaya snuggled into the coat, murmuring something about thanking someone named Ilsen, then settling again in the grass, her hair falling over her face.

Luke's heart kind of sank when he heard her mumble someone's name. Who was Ilsen? Did Kaya already like someone else? He'd never know. But maybe Kaya wasn't as available as he had hoped...

[OOC:] I like messing with Luke... Finally, after a little longer, Kaya stirred and sat up, the coat falling into her lap as she looked around, her eyes adjusting. "Luke?" she asked quietly, looking at the demon in curiosity.

Luke had been sitting a little away from Kaya, staring at the meadows and grounds below. And since he was thinking so deeply, he didn't hear her call for him as he sulked. But the grounds were pretty at least... They were beautiful in the sunset, but he was sad. He had been hoping to win Kaya's heart, but he was worried it wasn't his to try for. This Ilsen was bugging him.

Kaya got up, holding Luke's coat in her hands as she looked around. Soon enough, her eyes had adjusted in the dark enough that she spotted Luke's figure in the distance. Walking towards him, she sat beside him once she'd reached him. "Sleep well?"

Luke glanced over as Kaya sat next to him. He nodded some to her question, but didn't really say anything. But he tried to not look so darn depressed. Kaya didn't need to know about his love life. Even if it did involve her.
