"...There is too many to watch in my lifetime for that..." Zahzi said with a smirk.

"And that's just those tacked with that genre...The actual number of those shows...I couldn't even imagine adding up..."

"Wow." Amnity said, just picturing the vast amounts of shows. Really, if she had a choice, she would sit on that couch and watch TV shows for the rest of her life. She isn't getting any older. Her body stopped growing when she hit 20, about 6 years ago, and she'll stay 20 for the rest of her life. Altered humans have a life span of about 150 years, and when their mechanical organs deteriorate the rest of the body dies too. It's like a computer that has been running for a long time. It eventually short circuits and dies. "I have a while to live. What other shows can we watch?"

Amnity took the remote and handed it to Melanie with a smile. "It's your turn to pick the show now." The soldier stood up, paused for a second, then disappeared. There were sounds of plates clattering in the kitchen before Amnity phased back into the living room with a plate of chili and a glass of water. She sat back down on the couch, using her phasing ability for laziness now.

Amnity was busy eating the chili Zahzi cooked. It was amazingly hot, and if she weren't addicted to it she would have stopped eating it a while ago. The soldier watched death note, and the crazy person named 'Light' who could kill people by writing their names down in a notebook. In her opinion, she thought that it was a bit cowardly. "If someone were to kill someone, they should have the testicular fortitude to kill them themselves." She kicked her feet up on Vosa's back, since the coffee table that was in front of the couch was thrown the wall with Amnity's last temper tantrum. The dog didn't seem to mind. "But this show looks really cool."

Amnity nodded her head and closed her eyes, leaning her head back against the couch, just thinking. "If only killing wasn't so...Easy...." She said to Zahzi, still not opening her eyes. The soldier held her empty plate of chili on her lap, stiff as death. She didn't move for a whole minute, it didn't even look like she was breathing. Then she spoke again. "If it wasn't, I wouldn't be killing people so often...." She grimaced, her hate for herself was visible in her expression. "I know how that guy feels....In the show....It's so fun!..." Her eyes were still closed, and then she spoke in almost a whisper. "...And so addictive...." Her plate shattered in her hands from how she clenched her fist around it. But she didn't seem to notice. "No matter how much I try....I just can't stop the killing..." Amnity wasn't really talking to anyone in particular anymore. She was kind of like in a trance, talking to herself.

Amnity finally opened her eyes, sitting up and looking over to Zahzi. Was I speaking out loud? She listened to him, but couldn't help but contradict some of the things he said. "I try to think that....In fact, I've been trying really really hard to change myself from being a killer." The soldier shrugged a bit, as if it were no big deal, but in her eyes there was still pain. "I don't have a personal Navox controlling me to kill people, if I did then I'd actually have someone to blame the murders on." She shook her head, feeling the burning sensation of guilt and anguish in her throat. Some people underestimate not having pain receptors. Sure she can't feel physical pain, but the emotional pain hit her 10x as worse. So many altered humans die because of this, not by other people, but by killing themselves. "I actually...Enjoy killing people. I was programmed to enjoy murder."
Amnity shrugged off Zahzi's hand and gave him a small smile. But the smile was fake, to the people that really look. It was a mask, to try to reassure him. "I'm...I'm not my own person, Z....But I'm not a mindless killing machine either....I'm just....A killing machine." That description actually fit her pretty well.

Amnity's heart began to sputter uncontrollably, a light pink rosey color blushing her face. She shivered, a warm feeling rushing through her cold body. She looked down at her hands, unable to actually come up with a comeback for that one. The soldier looked back over to Zahzi with shy eyes. He was one of the few people that could actually console her in matters like this. "...I guess you're right..." She said after a minute of silence, then she spoke again. "But that was after your help....A lot of your help. I'm a better person now because of you." She then chuckled. "Though you're probably not going to acknowledge that it's true."
