Trenn Flashkill But still, Paper Mario is Mario and Mario is already in the game. There are too many characters to have ANOTHER Mario in the game. Just like there are too many characters to have 2 Links and 3 Landmasters. thats exactly what I'm saying. Oh and sorry for the typo my bad

Toon Link and Paper Mario deserve to be in, they represent other aspects of the series that deserve representation.

Well we still have had two Marios in Mellee, We had Dr. Mario on top of all the current Mario characters we have now, so throwing in a Paper Mario seems completely logical and legit. I'm also surprised no one has tried to mention (recently) that we could also try to add a Bowser Jr., Birdo, or Baby Mario and Baby Luigi. The two babies could totally be like the Ice Climbers just Mario'ed.

Mario has gotten weaker in my opinion. His spinning grab move doesn't through opponents as far as it did in Melee.

It's stupid to have multiple versions of the same character. Yes some of them deserve representation, but not as playable characters. Dr. Mario as a separate character was just as dumb as the other atrocities. I don't mind Wolf (as much) being in the game, regardless of him being a clone. He's a different character from Fox and Falco entirely. Paper Mario, on the other hand is no different from regular Mario, I don't care how different their respective games played.

Down B could be Partner Swap where you swap between the partners of PM1, and they each have there own B, Side B, and Up B. His A Moves could consist of using the Hammer and boots.

Yes, but MARIO is Mario and Link is Link. Toon Link and Link are basically the same character. Where as the fox characters are all different characters, with different names, and different attacks, I admit the final smash could've been more creative, BUT THEY'RE NOT CLONES. Characters who should have got in, shouldn't be clones. It should be a different character from a different series. Like, Isaac, megaman, and alot more. Also there are already 4 mario characters, without any clones like zelda, there wouldn't be enough room for a paper mario. In my opinion toon link could've been replaced with somebody else like, midna. Also without toon link there are already 4 characters, if you count sheik and zelda seperate, which they are because of different move styles and names.

Multiple characters like that would be a waste of space. There would be way too much redundancy if there were the multiple versions of each character.

Well, In a way, they are different, yet the same thing. Like Link and Young Link.

Hmm lets see. Zelda uses magic and shiek uses marital arts attacks. They have the same smash I admit. Fox characters have different attacks too. Wolf uses claw attacks, martial arts, and others but doesn't have an infinite attack. Unlike fox and falco. falco has the spinning attack, and fox kicks. They all have lasers, but they look different with different damages, and speeds. So your fooling yourself. HAHA!!

Okay, to shut the fight up I'm going to post an idea for a character. Why? Because I thought it all up in one night and I think it would work. I'm thinking Megaman ZX.
Up+B: Spins up and forward, followed by slamming down sword in front.
Forwards+B: Forwards rolling slash.
B: Charge and shoot the gun.
Down+B: Change Forms, from the ZX to HX
Megaman HX
Up+B: A dash with blades in front, similar to Meta Knights.
Forwards+B: Forwards dash+tornado
B: Sword swipe launching an electric ball
Down+B: Changing Forms, from HX to FX
Megaman FX
Up+B: Flaming double uppercut.
Forward+B: Dash Punch, flame trail too.
B: Shoot larger energy shots, can be aimed. Can be charged for a fireball.
Down+B: Changing Forms, from FX to LX
Megaman LX
Up+B: Spins spear lance thingie above head like a helicopter
Forward+B: Ice Wave
B: Ice Shards, can be charged for Ice Dragon
Down+B: Changing Forms, from LX to PX
Megaman PX
Up+B: Lauches upwards with hand claw, will stick to ceilings or people.
Forward+B: Forwards Super Dash, like Fox.
B: Throws Kunai, can be charged for boomerang shuriken.
Down+B: Changing Forms, from PX to ZX
I also thought out each A move too, not the throws yet. I won't list the A moves because that will make for a long post.
