Arlen finally opened his eyes to the sunlight streaming through the inn's windows and sat up groggily. Looking around briefly, he hopped off the sofa and wandered into the kitchen in search of food. "G'morning," he mumbled to Trina, waving sleepily.

Trina turned around and looked down at Arlen, smiling. "Good morning. Would you like a bowl of cereal?" She asked softly, since that's what Maara usually ate when she woke up, and since Trina couldn't cook. "There's the marshmellow kind, if you like."

Kaden blinked looking back and exiting the room; She'd be there sooner or later to come get him he knew it. Sighing he closed the door and wandered down the stairs with a smile plastered onto his face. "Morning!" Kaden chirped to the room just in case anyone was there to hear him.

Arlen nodded, rubbing on of his eyes gently. "There's cereal with marshmallows?" he asked curiously.

"Yes. Surprisingly, you can get many different kinds of cereal, but the marshmellow kind is Maara's favorite." She picked up a box of cereal and got a jug of milk out of the fridge, a bowl and spoon next. "Come on...can't eat comfortably in here can you?" She said softly, exiting the kitchen and setting everything on the counter. "Hello Kaden. Did you wish some thing to eat as well?" She didn't offer cereal, because Kaden hadn't wanted candy before, and she didn't want to risk offending him with cereal this time. If he asked for it, then she'd know he liked it.

The boy blinked at her, looking at Arlen before his one eye gazed back at what she was holding. "...Water please, Obasan." He said to her with a smile walking up to the bar and crawling onto a chair with an ever widing smile."Ano- you havent seen Caradoc or..or his soon to be have you?" Kaden asked politely with a blink and a face that was twisted in curiosity.

Arlen smiled as he walked out after Trina, excited about having cereal with marshmallows in it. Seeing Kaden, he waved to the boy and then looked back at Trina, unsure of where she was going to put the cereal.

Trina turned to fill a glass, which seemed to pour faster than usual, and turned back to hand it to Kaden. She blinked once, then assumed he meant Ever, Caradoc's rope friend. "No...I don't believe I have..." She said slowly, thinking about this to make sure. "No. I have not spoken with either of them in some time...I'm very sorry Kaden." She shook her head, then poured Arlen his milk and cereal, handing him the spoon as she set the bowl on the bar top.

"Oh.." He said softly taking the glass from her with a smile. Looking down at it he drank it quickly faster then usual like he was in a rush. Setting it down he gasped out a breath before taking off up the stairs and into River's old room where he pushed a finger into the mirror's glassy surface. It rippled around him and he closed his eyes jumping into it.

Arlen took the spoon and climbed up into the stool in front of the cereal. "Thank you Miss... ummm," he struggled to think of whether or nto he knew Trina's name.

((*Stares at Kaden)) Trina watched Kaden's rapid exit with slightly baffled dark eyes, then turned her attention to Arlen. She hoped Kaden was alright. She smiled at Arlen, providing her name instantly. "I am called Trina. I care for Maara...Did you want something to drink as well?" She asked, remembering he had been drinking some sort of juice the night before. Which reminded her...where on earth had Maara gotten off to? Trina glanced at the door, then back to Arlen. The cat girl would probably come bursting inside with some sort of explaination, and then everything would be fine again.

Arlen nodded. "Could I have some orange juice please, Miss Trina?" he asked extra politely before taking a bite of his cereal. "Mmmm. This is really good."

Trina smiled. "Of course. And I am very glad you like it." Trina went intot he kitchen and poured him a glass of the 'orange' juice, which she felt was cleverly named. ((*Laughs*))
Maara burst into the bar, her top hat on her head, hiding her ears, and a trench coat hiding her tail. She spotted Arlen, and hopped right up next to him, pulling the cereal box over. "Ooh!!! You like this stuff too?" She exclaimed, beaming at him. Then Trina returned with his orange juice, smiling since she heard Maara's rather noisy entrance. "I had wondered where you went." She said softly, setting a bowl in front of Maara as well, pouring her milk and cereal. Maara grinned. "I went to town! But real quick okay? I didn't want to wake you up." And then she munched happily on her cereal, tail swaying underneath her coat, which looked kind of odd on her anyway. How many nine year olds wore top hats and trench coats?

Arlen nodded brightly, fully awake after a few bites of the sugary cereal. "Uh huh," he said cheerfully in between bites. "Thank you," he mumbled through a mouthful of cereal when he saw that Trina had brought his juice.

Maara giggled, abandoning her bowl and hopping off the stool, wandering around for her candy drawer. Trina watched her choose a sucker, and then spoke. "Did you show Arlen the candy drawer? She asked, and Maara nodded, beaming up at the woman. "Yup! He likes candy too!" Then she darted to the coat rack, and shrugged off her trench coat, which she left on the floor. Her top hat came next, and then she looked pretty normal again, as normal as she ever did anyway, with orange curls and her ears and tail. Maara handed Trina her top hat as she ate her sucker.
