Necrons are completely, and utterly broken, even for 40k.

There are undead in 40k.
Usually mutants or zombies raised by a Nurgle warp sorcerer or daemon.
Hell, the Death Cult Assassins are pretty much vampires in of themselves, given what they do to their victims.

They are just robot undead.
Sure, for table top they are broken.
In RP they are just metal versions of KB. They don't die, but they can be beat.
If you damage one bad enough it gets transported to a tomb to be repaired.

Oh yeah Cog? I read a thing or two about those weird blood mutant space marines too, but, those things are kind of just... freaky deaky monsters.

Old Man KB Oh yeah Cog? I read a thing or two about those weird blood mutant space marines too, but, those things are kind of just... freaky deaky monsters. Yeah, the Blood Angels. Vampiric Space Marines that, surprisingly, are not deemed heritics by the Empire. There's also the Soul Drinkers, who drink the brain juices of their slain foes, and munch on the brains.
