All I got from Necrons is metal metroids.
At least, I envision their gods looking like metal-clad metroids.

And some of the 'younger' Necron who haven't 'died' too much still have there own memories and mind from life.

Ah, really? I didn't know that little tidbit. I thought they were all soulless, mindless metallic husks. That's pretty nifty. The Necrons are pretty much the 40k Undead faction, which I guess is cool, but I still wouldn't mind having like... 40k Vampire Counts. Just have whole boarding troopships full of zombies crash into people and cause chaos.

Yeah, they are the Undead of 40k.
While they don't have free will, some of them can think and I guess if they were lucky even act on there own.
I am honestly considering making a Necron character.
