Arlen's eyes drifted up to Ukaia's ears. More and more people with cat ears keeped showing up. "How are you?"

River blinked as she pushed the front door of the Muffin open and clicked it closed behind her, Black Army boots thumping against the floor as she walked. The smell of sand and the deserts humid air fallowed her; Sand sticking to her cheeks where she cryed, hair bound and holding sand nails clothing all contained sand in them.
"Kaden." River said softly walking towards the stairs stopping and looking over the couch.
"Kaden." She said louder and the small boy jolted up his head turning he waved at River with a wide smile of approval. Her black clothing contrasting with her skin like nothing she'd ever worn before.
"I've a question for you." River stated motioning him and Sasori up. He blinked and jumped at the thought of his opinion mattering and ran over scurried over to her with the red head holding his arm to get him to move.
"Hi, Youbo-san!" He said waving to her but not approching. She didn't look happy was that his falt? He didn't know.
Getting on her knees River looked at Kaden with a stern serious expression and Kaden stared at her with curiosity. "Yes, Toto-san?" He questioned her Sasori waiting.
"Kaden, I want to know if you want to Move away with me." It was stern plain and the boy was quite shocked to hear this. He blinked taking hold of his shirt looking at her with confusion, what the heck was he supposed to say he wavered as she stood up. "I'll be upstairs think on it." She said rubbing his head with her sandy hand smiling at him before walking away and up the stairs silently.

Baizou's ears shot strait upright at the touch and he unintentionally squeaked. Pretending he didn't hear it, he looked up at Ukaia and smiled. "Good evening, Ukaia-'nee-chan." He greeted with a warm smile. He felt so good he could've done a musical number right then and there, but he refrained. For, no matter how good his singing was, he was still rather modest about it and it would be about five minutes he could have spent cuddling Ellie or something. "Is there anything I can get you?"

"Hello Kaden" Ukaia said. Then her heart turned to Ice.. River.. how could she.. while Ukaia was standing right there. She felt hot tears welling up in her eyes.
"I'm going to.. make something to eat. Don't let me interupt you" she mumbled and hurried past the boy at the bar to hide in the kitchen. She didn't want to interupt, didn't want the others to see..

Kaden jumped letting Sasori go the boy furrowed his brow and Kaden pushed him to the stairs. He understood and started off up the stairs. "Youbo-san?" He asked in a strained voice, Did she not want him? He was torn what was he going to do. He haden't seen Ukaia in a long time River was always there to comfort him she never said anything bad, she wanted to move why? How come? What conclusion did she come to? Kaden shook his head the thoughts where almost too much. He ran towards the kitchen door and pushed it open, "Ukaia-sama!" He said to get her attention knowing if he Said his usual, Youbo-san it would faulter his opinion on the matter.

Ellie tried even more to try and stifle her giggle, which grew more and more as she set the dish of fried goodies in between their plates. "Sorry, love, the dastardly thing has a mind of its own. Well.." she tapped at her chin in thought, ".. a mind of its own with good taste." Laughing softly at this, she slid into her seat, foot already propped up, awaiting his arrival.

Ukaia turned around in the process of wiping her eyes hurridly

Baizou watched Ukaia for a few moments and decided that Kaden was the best person to go after her, anyway. He turned back to Ellie and couldn't help but feel warm love bubbling inside him. Ever since the day he 'killed' Shadow Glider as a superhero, he promised himself to put Ellie at the front of everything. She was his one and only and nothing would ever change that. He sat down opposite her, decided it wasn't good enough and scooted into her side of the booth, pulling her into his arms. "Can I eat you up?" He teased, nipping at one of her ears.

He stood there and stared at her blankly for the longest time before his face twisted in question, "If I leave I promise to come Visit you everyday." He said slowly, " If I leave you have to Promise me, Kaden- That you won't cry for me. Daddy will be home soon." He said softly a smile crossing his face. "I'll miss you youbo-san If I go, If I go I will write and send my love every second. If I go you have to Promise not to hate.." He paused taking a shaky breath for an eight year old who never connected this was hard. " Hate River-sama." He said dropping the stupid analogy act for once waiting for her reaction. "You..don't think I love you anymore, youbo-san? Is that why you are crying?"

Ellie blushed deeply, as she reached across the table to pull his plate next to hers, and her head leaned onto his shoulder. "Shush, you." she replied, grinning, as one of her wings cushioned his back. "Pot-sticker?" she asked, taking one between her fingers, and offering it to him. Though, were he to take it or were he not, she leaned closer with it, and moved it out of the way before kissing him, cheeks pink and nerves tingling in delight. It was good to see that Ukaia was back, even if it did seem reluctant, or even unhappy to see Ellie and Baizou.

Arlen frowned as he watched Kaden and Ukaia's tearful conversation. Silently he wondered what was going on, and if he could get some more juice.

Ukaia listened to him the tears flooded her eyes but not yet fell. Till his final sentence. The hot liquid dripped down her face
"Somehwat Kaden" she said very quietly
"But I do understand, I hurt you deeply with being gone for so long.. It will take time.. to be close agian" she said to him her voice trembling slightly

Baizou laughed quietly as he leaned forward to get at the pot sticker. "Mm, I will take kisses over potstickers any day." He said as if it were some sort of challenge. He suddenly smiled. It was because of a challenge that he was holding the woman of his dreams in his arms. He was most definitely hurt by Ukaia's almost cold response to his question, but it slowly melted away the more he touched Ellie's skin and breathed in her scent.

Kadens eye started to whell up -tears did not slip down his face on the one side he could cry with, Though because he was smileing softly, "Heh- River's always been there, You see my problem? It's not her fault she Actualy loves me, Youbo-san. Like you do but, but how do you love me when you hardly ever see me? The thought that count's River always made me pray you where safe yet you hate each other so much..." He sniffed his delema slowly surfacing. "I love you, Youbo-san but I can't leave my caretaker after what she- did..has done.." He cryed finally rubbing his eye and walking over to her hugging her legs. "I'm Sorry!" He said through a sob, "Why can't I be in two places at once.." He murmured to her sadly.

Ukaai sighed
"I dont' hate her really.. She just.. just.. " Ukaia didn't know how to explain she knelt and hugged Kaden tightly sighing and breathing in his scent
"I do love you Kaden. Jsut so many things kept coming up, and this last thing. Like i said.. i understand.. " she whispered soflty and hugged him a bit tighter before loosening her grip
"It's alright.." she wiped his eye gently and sighed soflty.
"I am so angry at river.. for things she has done.. things she says.. they hurt me terrably, but i don't hate her really" she added soflty
"i jsut don't think I can handel her anymore.. " she muttered
