Upon sensing the aura of the Tainted, Elyan's body tensed.
"Damnit, I'm not prepared for a full-fledged battle." He had kept his voice low. It's not that he couldn't fight, but he was severely limited to what he could do.
"Our best option would be to negotiate." Behind him stood his alter-ego. Ever since the altercation, they seemed to be getting along much better than before. I suppose they both had Meredith to thank for that. Still, he wasn't looking for a brawl.
"Look, I'm not interested in a fight," Elyan stated to the Tainted which stared him down. This was the first time he had run into this kind of being. He had heard stories of them, but not enough specific information. But, he did know that there were multiple types of Tainted, which left more than one unknown factor with this guy. Elyan had managed to stand on his own two feet without the need to lean on something.
"But, I'll fight if necessary..."

Travis stared down the vampire. He, as opposed to the undead in front of him, was at full strength, and could probably rip the creature to shreds. "He's weak." "Travis muttered to the devil, sighing, "I can tell." Without lowering his club, he motioned for the vampire to come over. 'Yo, I have no beef with ya." Travis figured he could use someone to fill him in on the recent state of things, and why not let it be this vampire, it wasn't like he really cared about the guy's state of being. "Just don't try any tricky s**t on me, alright?" He lowered his club, leaning against a wall, mirroring what Diablo had done just a minute before. "You been in a fight? Seem tired."

'Don't drop your guard.'
"I know," Elyan muttered back to his other half. He was glad the guy wasn't one to attack first, ask questions later. Had that been so, he might not have been very lucky.
"You could say something like that," Elyan replied. The faint scent of blood caught his attention, forgetting about the forehead injury he had obtained minutes ago. If that wasn't a dead give-away that he had been in a conflict of some kind, what would suffice?!
"What's your story?" He asked.

"... Well, ok then. Were you just talking to yourself?" "Not like you haven't done it, as well, boy." "... Anyway, Vampire, Who are you to ask of me?" Travis looked annoyed, raising an eyebrow at him. "And why are you bleeding...? Did you... get shot?" He couldn't help but laugh. "Hahaha, well, thats pretty funny." He smiles slightly and crosses his arms. "My name is Travis Suda, you, vampire?"

Elyan hadn't expected such a colorful character, but it was refreshing compared to how stern and serious everyone else was. Plus, this kept him out of a fight, which he was grateful for.
"My name is Elyan Maxwell. It's a pleasure," Elyan politely replied. Slowly, Elyan made his way across the street and placed himself on the same stairs Travis had been sitting upon when they had first met. But, he was tired and being a bit more reckless than he normally was. He let out a few sighs, leaning his head backwards and allowing his hair to fall back.
It was quiet in that particular part of the city, an odd phenomenon considering this was New York. Still, it was appreciated. Elyan had traveled all over the world during his immortal life, but he always preferred the quieter regions. But, he wasn't here for vacation. No, he had a goal in mind when he came here. Unfortunately, that particular goal had become more difficult in only one evening.
Without thinking, Elyan asked another question.
"How well do you know New York?"

Absanthe "This temper's gotten me into tons of trouble before so that's not about to change, it balances out with the kindness I suppose. If you're logging me as an enemy for not killing you that's kind of strange considering this is twice I could have killed you now but whatever. If you're going to listen to that little snoot maybe I should just kill you right now ..." She paused for a moment as her yellow eyes seized over yet again and this time her voice even changed to one that wasn't her own, After all, it'd be very easy, little vampire. I do have to say, though, these human toys are fun. Too bad she decided not to kill you, it disappoints me greatly. Humans are weak, compassion blinds them to crimes that are as clear as perceptable as the moon herself." Again she was twirling the gun but this time she was giving the vampire a rather eerie smile, one that did not belong to Meredith and one that contorted her features.
"So Ellie's 'her' name ... Interesting ... I wonder what she's like ... Perhaps one day I'll find out and when I do I'll tell her that her little vampire was looking for her, only she won't last long after that. And what you perceive as power is nothing compared to that of other immortals, little vampire." The wolf smiled as it waited to gauge a reaction from the vampire. Threatening its mate was something that wasn't beyond this wolf and neither was harming his mate if things ultimately came down to that. After all, this vampire had caused enough trouble as it was and it was mindless enough to start listening to the little brat, something unacceptable and weak of him. This was a weak vampire that wasn't even worth the wolf's time, just looking at this vampire was enough to compel it to end his search forever and yet it wanted to watch him struggle and fail. For now, the vampire would live.
The wolf then turned to James with a wicked smile, a flash flickering ever so slightly behind it's amber eyes. "And as for you, she's not the wolven half of us, I am. She's the weak half that thinks she's worthy of leading you after she let this vampire scum escape and claim the life of an innocent girl. She believes her hesitation is justified in that she didn't shoot for a reason but that's just what she tells herself. We all know she failed to act and that you are right, she should not be your commanding officer nor should you listen to her. However, don't mistake her for being the wolven part for she is not, she is far too weak. I don't see how you have a say in this, though, your blood is tainted with my kinds blood so you have no space to talk, freak. Be grateful, though, she subdues me and won't grant me my freedom, I can't take my own form otherwise you'd have been dead as well. Be glad she fights persistently."
The huntress shook her head and grabbed hold of her temples and her eyes reverted back to hazel and she looked awfully confused as if she didn't know where she was. Meanwhile the tourniquet that'd been wrapped around her shoulder had bled through as the wolf had been addressing those it wasn't pleased with and failed to address those it viewed as weak. "Wha-What the hell? I-" Her head snapped upwards and she surveyed the area with a panicked look upon her face and once she realized she hadn't horribly mauled everyone she calmed down a little. "Silver ... bullets, yeah, got those ... I'm a hunter, what did you ex-" The huntress had taken a few steps toward nothing in particular, her eyes glazed over and then she simply collapsed, arm spouting blood, breaths coming in whispers.
(( So I guess no one loves Meredith enough to help her out so I guess I'll just have to get her to get up off her a** on her own ... When I'm less lazy so this post'll be edited laterz. XD ))

Sybil got an awesome idea just then. She ought to be applauded for her genius mind but she was pretty damned sure the lame sulking faery wasn't in the mood for praising human actions at the moment. Whatever, She didn't need anyones approval to feel proud of herself. Sybil marched right over to the unconscious wolf, playing all concerned citizen as she paused over women. To be cautious, She remained cloaked by the in-between, uncertain if the Lycan would suddenly spazz out on her. “Yo lady. Wake up, I don't think it's real safe to be lying around. I mean, If you lie here and like bleed to death, there ain't going to be a leader anymore and we all kinda be screwed.” Sybil muttered between a deep inhale of her cigarette as she leaned over the wolf. You see, this was her brilliant idea. Since no one else was stepping to to the plate, She was going to help out the leader. Rack up her points and earn herself an A+ in Hunter awesomeness. When Sybil didn't receive an immediate response from Meredith, she took it as a sign to set her plan into action
“Jewel. Won't you come over here and help me out? Just phase us back home so we, I mean I can patch this chick up.” She flashed Jewel and all too sweet smile, but they both knew damned well Sybil on her own knew absolutely nothing about seeing to medical needs. But Oh! Didn't Sybil just so happen to have a ancient know-all practically attached to her hip? Jewel was already set with refusal as he gazed off at noting in particular and making an awful show of ignoring her. “I will not aid that creature. This is a disruption to our plan, Sybil. Leave the women and let us go.” Jewel said smoothly, so calm and tranquil even as he spoke of simply leaving a bleeding human sprawled out in the middle of New York. First world out of his mouth since the whole event, and that's what he had to say. “Okay Tink. If you do not help me, I'm going to hail down a taxi and cart the wolf myself. Remember all those horrific stories about poor girls alone in the city? Well, If I become one of those gruesome statistics, then whose going to help you with the 'plan'? And then, You'll wander through eternity plagued with the guilt that you could have simply zapped us home, safe and sound.” Sybil played with a smug little smile, crossing her arms over her chest and impatiently tapping her foot. Jewel would give in, He always did. Men, even fancy glittering ones were oh-so gullible. Instead of simply phasing over to her, Jewel walked. Taking his sweet ol' time. Finally, without a single word or even an upward glance, He reached down to place one hand on Sybil and the other on Meredith. Without further ado, They all vanished.

The oni smiled, still leaning against the wall. His club was sitting next to him, within reach, if need be. He sighed slightly and chuckled, "s**t, Elyan, you were probably alive when New York was built!" He grinned, and shook his head. "Well, I used to live here, well I do. I was... away... for three years." He shot a look at Diablo, who was still hanging around, looking at the trees. "AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE?!!?" Diablo just shrugged and walked over, casually. " I like earth's trees, they are so very interesting." Travis just stared at him for a second, then shook his head, turning back to the vampire, he sighed, "Don't mind grandpa over there, he may be annoying, but he's harmless, sort of." "Hey! I take offense to that, I'll have you know I can eliminate you both with the snap of a finger!" "...Whatever." Diablo huffed and disappeared in a spout of ghostly fire. "Umm, so... Elyan, was it? What did you need?"

Elyan chuckled lightly.
"While I am old, I'm not from around here. Not from this country, actually." The concrete steps were rather uncomfortable, causing Elyan to shift his weight around every now and again. Of course, the interesting event between Travis and the other man was rather entertaining.
"I really don't need anything," Elyan replied. "I figured it'd be a good way to pass the time. All I was hoping was that we didn't fight. For as you know, I'm not in the proper condition." He was beginning to like this character. Although he currently reeked of garbage, he didn't look all too bad. The orange color suited him somehow.

The man stumbled through the back alley, you could hear his breathing, loud and rapid. By the way he kept looking behind him it didn't take a genius to figure out he was being chased.
As he ran onwards the moonlight caught his face and one could see the panick in his eyes. His persuer could smell his fear.
'Oh God help me!' The man wimpered, he reached under his jacket feeling his shoulder, the pain was almost unbearable. He brought his hand back into the light, it was glistening in the moonlight. Blood.
'You know you can't run.' A voice said in his mind, 'Tell me what I need to know and I'll make it quick.'
'I told you I don't know anything!' The man yelled.
'John, we both know you're lying.' The voice said.
'I swear I don't, I've never heard of the Posidon report' The man pleaded.
'I'm sorry John, but you do, whether you realise it or not, and I must have that information.' Replied the voice
'Please, I have a wife and kids..' John said, begging for mercy
'That is immaterial to me'
A man appeared from the shadows, 'Just accept your fate John, it'll be quick I promise.'
'Get the hell away from me!' John yelled, pulling a revolver out of his jacket and pointing it at the man.
'Oh my John, you think that can stop me? Go ahead, fire, it won't help you.'
'AAARGHHHHH!' John yelled as he fired the pistol several times, the bullets smacking into the stranger. But it was to no effect, the man was still standing.
'Good shot John!' The stranger exclaimed, 'You would surely have killed me if I were a man, but as you have begun to realise, I am not.' He smiled, showing two fangs protruding from his upper lip. 'I'm sorry John, but I don't have time to endulge you anymore, I'm going to get the information from you by any means.'
The stranger leapt onto John with incredible speed grabbing him either side of his head. John screamed, it was if someone had just stabbed him in the head with a white hot blade.
'Come on now John, just let go.' The stranger said. John screamed again as his eyes burst
The stranger smiled, 'I've got it.' he said, releasing John, who staggered back clutching his face, the blood pouring between his fingers.
'I'm sorry it had to be this way John, I'll make sure your family is looked after. The stranger said before lunging forward with lightning speed. There was a faint splashing sound. John grunted before falling to the ground.
The stranger quickly removed the blade from the dead man's chest and wiped it down with a hankerchief.
'It would appear someone went to a great deal of trouble to bury that information in his mind,' the shadowy figure said into the darkness, 'But it doesn't matter now, we know their plan, or at least part of it.' 'Come on Jack, we'd better get back to the Coven before the humans discover the body' the stranger said as another man stepped out of the shadows.
'As you wish Lord Kensington.' Jack replied.
The two men walked back into the shadows as the sound of police sirens approached

Cosette skipped her way down the sidewalk, a merry hop lifting her prancy little steps. She still had an awful headache, But it was so much better now that she'd freed herself of that horrid night club. How anyone could stand clubbing for nights on end, she had absolutely no idea. Ten minutes minuted in there equaled just absolute torture. Not to mention the undesirable sorts that frequented those places. Chauvinist men and intoxicated women, it all just made her cringe. Cosette just assumed that not everyone could be as perfect as her. What a shame it was, This world would have been so much better. Cosette's nose caught a lovely although faint whiff of blood. It was enough to pull her to a halt at the gaping dark entrance of an alleyway. It was curiosity that brought her edging her way in. Allys were always dirty, a concoction of tossed cigarettes and empty liqueur bottles. Not even most humans dared to vencher through, as of now; it seemed only the most vile of creatures tempted the darkness.
She heard the pair of men before she saw them, one was muttering on about how he wasn't in proper condition. Upon further inspection, Cosette realized she recognized that one. Pale hair and red eyes, he's been in the bar lulling some poor girl into a facade of false comfort and admiration. Tricky boy, playing with his food. He could have just dragged the girl out of the bar, kicking and screaming. That's what Cosette preferred. A rush of excitement as one dragged down the victim, shattering bone and tearing skin, how could it get any better? Just take what you want, that's what Cosette had always figured. Maybe Whiteout over there just didn't have what it takes to be a ruthless little murder. Someone ought to teach him to embrace that lovely vicious side. “I know New York well.” Cosette interrupted, her airy voice drifted through the ally like a smoothing melody. It was a complete lie, She didn't know a damned thing about New York other than it was loud, crowded and pouted; but Whiteout didn't need to know that. She was a talented little actress and lies where her game. Under better circumstances, the pale one seemed to posses quite a bit of power. She'd whiteness it earlier, Not everyone could captivate with a mere glance. Like a bug to a flame, Cosette thought to ally herself with the likes of such a creature. She'd been abandoned by her last conquest, That silly scientist who had left her and vanished at the hight of his discoveries. She needed another. Who better than another Psychic vampire. Maybe, he might even be able to aid her in the traumatic shattered mess that was her mind.
“What do you want to know? Looking for something in particular? “ She asked casually, strumming her fingers through those luscious curls. Her baby blue eyes flickered to the other man for a brief moment, but she'd swiftly decided there was nothing all that interesting about him at first glance and she turned back to the pale one. Her thin arms were wrapped across her chest and she appeared uncomfortable in the ally, taking great care not to let a single part of her touch the walls.

Drago walked along the streets almost lifelessly, its been three days since last meal but he did not want to draw too much attention to himself. But as walked around like he was dead he whiffed the unmistakable scent of blood. He looked around drastically trying to find where it was coming from till his lifeless eyes fixed upon an alley. As he stepped to wards it he realized he was not alone other vampires were lurking in the shadows.
"If I were at full strength maybe I would chance a fight but I feel it maybe too late,it is never good to drink dead blood but maybe i should stay and listen,"Drago thought to himself,"this woman is rather impressive"
But upon hearing the female say she knew New York he stepped from the shadows. "Do you now?"

“Yes. I just said I did, Didn't it? " She said, just a little bit snappy with the remark. For anyone listening closely enough, a hint of French lifted the edge of her words. Cosette turned, a dazzling smile lighting up her round doll-face, pleased to be the focus of attention. She upturned her small buttons nose, smug and satisfied. She was all too well at weaving a quit of lies, her false knowledge of the nasty City had already gathered the attention of one vampire. If only she could snag Whiteout's focus now. She only had to take one look at the new stranger to decide she didn't really like him. The vampire was lacking proper coloring, hinting at a starvation complex going on. Really, Did no one these days just take what they needed? They were in the height of an age where druggies and addicts line the streets. While Cosette would never be caught dead scavenging the gutters for sick and delirious, other vampires might drop to such lovely measures for a quick bite. Fact was, there was always something in this city to feed from, So why the hell was this guy prowling around like a pathetic starved little puppy? A disgusted grimace touched her face for the briefest moment. There one moment and gone the next, replaced by that charming smile the instant she'd caught her act slipping.

Aiden had just ceased his business with some mongrels that'd been much too blatant and obvious about their intentions when he happened upon an alleyway littered with targets. It would be fun to simply shoot them all when none of the poor creatures would realize what'd hit them but he decided pointing out to them how daft they were could prove just as fun. Of course, the odds were fully against him, four to one wasn't a very fair fight, even to the most skilled of hunters. Most hunters didn't possess his advantage, though, the void was a very useful tool and once you were consumed by it that only made things more interesting.
The seraphic vampire stepped from the illusioned safety of the streets and lamp light to the darkened alleyway where the group of dafts were congregating. A disconcerting smile crept onto his angelic features as he recognized the voice of the little vampire he'd met a while back. Yet again she was seeking to leech off of someone in order for their protection. What a silly girl and yet she was clever enough to get away with it. Would Aiden ruin her fun? Perhaps he would. He could always convince the crowd she'd lead him here in the hopes he'd purge them from this world and it'd look like it was all her fault. He'd make his decision later.
Seemingly unarmed, the vampiric hunter entered the alley, his fangs glistening as his smirk remained planted upon his features. "My my. A congregation of the dafts in this city. Should I pick you all off where you're cornered or should I make this more interesting for myself and allow you to disperse so I can hunt each and every one of you down separately? Hm, decisions, decisions. There seem to be liars amongst this group, too. Can we not have honesty even when we're on the same side? Just because we say something doesn't necessarily make it true now does it, Cosette? I'd think you of all people would realize that." His smile grew, thus revealing more of his fangs. The smile was out of place on such an angelic figure and now marred his would-be heavenly features.

Cosette's expression went blank, her act abandoned. She'd smelled that one before. That conniving angle faced boy. She'd straightened, aware of his presence before he'd made it known to the others. Wasn't there already enough people in the crowded little allyway without another smug brat to grace the scene? Cosette shot the boy a quick sidewards glance, those brilliant blue eyes flashing a flicker of warning before she'd focused her attention back on the other vampires. As brief as their last encounter had been, she knew very well it was a challenge to fool him. He, who played the very same games she'd constantly dished out. Cosette was determined to smoothly pretend she didn't even know the new intruder, But then he began talking. Not only that, but he just couldn't seem to resist the compulsion to go on and rat her out, blemishing her oh-so perfect image in the process. Game over. Ruined by the pretty boy.
“I don't know what you are babbling about. Go away. It's already too crowded here, I'm going to feel ill if you all keep cramming in here.” Cosette sneered, her polished act crumbling and slipping away so very swift. She'd been in the middle of something, damnit. Of all the times, why did Aiden have to show up now? She'd been so close to securing an ally, wither it was the pale vampire or the lacking one; both had needed information about the city and Cosette had been all too willing to shove some false information down their throats all for a little on-on-one time. In no time they would have been eating out of her greedy little hands. “Do you guys want to know about the city or not?” She blurted out, turning back to the remainder of the group and refocusing her fragile attention with a weak smile as she scrambled to pull her act together. If she could manage to lure away just one of the vampires here within the next few moments, it would serve her purpose. Anything to secure a hint of protection.
