Apparently you can have the cameo team go and fight the final bosses and stuff for you.

Pointless Point 2: Try having that stuck in your head while walking down a long, dark driveway in the middle of a forested area. You can just hear the static.
In other random pointless news... YES, I finally completed Dragon Quest VIII. Like Legendia, taking a break partway through that would be extremely wise, because it's so freakin' long. Heed my words, should you play it.
