He chuckled softly and took aim again. "Shut the F--k up mutt. I'm tired of you kind roaming the streets and killing humans." The revolver bucked in his hand as it fired. The sound deafening him for a split second. The bottle fell from his other hand as he reached for another hiden revolver.

Julian's arm quickly switched to the obviously drunken and opened fire, he was aiming for the legs and arms, non-lethal places. He didn't switch to his Uzi, he was only planning on that being brought out if the man wouldn't surrender. A bullet hit his torso, but just left a dent on the iron cuirass nestled within his Duster. "Stop shooting you f-cking idiot! THIS IS YOUR F-CKING LEADER!" He appealed to the Hunter, moving in front of Meredith. What the armor-plating absorb the Kevlar mostly did, but he got quite a few wounds on his arms from stray bullets winging him. He gritted his teeth and shouted "You're gonna need more than that to take me down! The old don't die!"
He felt a bullet land straight in the center of his leg and gritted his teeth, moving one hand to it and pressuring it to stop the bleeding, still firing with his other. He needed to reload... F-ck.

Meredith managed to dodge his next shot and threw herself behind a dumpster and opened fire on James with her own silver bullets, solid ones. She wasn't exactly sure what he was but she could tell there was something funny about him because he smelled like a wolf and yet he wasn't the same as her. This was really annoying and she didn't particularly feel like having an open fire confrontation in the middle of the street but this guy was drunk and wasn't really listening to any reason she had to give to him. This guy sure was a bloody idiot, after all, she was a lycan and she could probably take a few bullets in order to take him down, not to mention she had a hunter backing her. If this shoot out was actually going to last they certainly had the upper hand despite her injury.
She realized that Julian hadn't followed suit and decided to shout upwards at him as she shot for James' kneecaps, hoping to just take him straight down and out as well as his armed hand in the hopes she could knock the gun he held free. "Julian, you idiot! Get out of his line of fire and hide behind something you lard for brains! I thought you've been in this buisness since like the dawn of time or something! Get out of there, the old do die, you're just stubborn and going to die slowly!"

James yelled out in anger and pain as a bullet clipped his knee, he stumbled but managed to remain standing. Anothher clipped his elbow, causing him to drop the other revolver he'd been pulling out. Then a last shot knocked his hat off. Blue and red eyes glared at them both, but he stopped firing as he heard Julain shouting. "BLoody f--k, How does a wolf gain control of a hunter group?! I've no reason to believe a lick of the lies you're spouting...But seeing as I've dropped my other gun and there are two of you and Im drunk...talk quickly because i've got an inch to scratch."

"D--nit you think you'd try to figure out who it is you're shooting at before you just open fire like some friggin' lunatic. As for me being in control of the hunters, I've just been newly turned somewhat against my will so it can't be helped. I'm William Jackson's little sister if that means anything to you and though my body may be altered, my morals and ideals are not changed. I will hunt the same as I always have and I will lead the hunters as any human leader would. I have no allegiance to the lycans, I have no reason to join them. Haven's my home and I'm not going to abandon my fellow hunters or let them down over something as petty as being a lycan now. Good enough for you?" Her gaze was harsh as she scrutinized the drunk hunter, not at all pleased that her shoulder now possessed a gaping wound that was bleeding out fast.

James grinned. "Ah...well I'd say sorry, but it'd be more towards a lie. I hate wolves and till I see different I've little reason to trust you arent playing with the hunters...the facts I know are simply. 1 you're a wolf, 2 This hunter says you are the leader, 3 I kill wolves. So it looks like a bit of a problem here. Seeing as I cant kill my commanding officer, yet I dont plan on listening to a wolf. What ever shall I do?" He holstered the revolver in his hand and bent oddly to get the one he dropped. His knee was starting to burn and itch as well as hurt. He sighed. "It seems as though you use silver shot though..." He commented dryly as he started for his hat.

Elyan's silver hair parted slightly as the bullet entered his skull, stopping before it exited the other end. His reaction was more of shock than anything else. Immediately, his body fell backwards due to a wound which would have killed any mortal being instantly. Elyan's eyes were empty as they stared into the sky, his 'other' having disappeared. Blood dripped down his face and onto the concrete which made up the roof of the building which all of this action took place.
'It's as we said, there is no one who we can trust but ourselves. They speak such kind words, but when rejected, they feel insulted and do drastic things as revenge. If I didn't know any better, they are our enemies.'
With all of the commotion made by the drunken hunter, most of them had forgotten about Elyan as he lay within a rather large pool of blood. His mouth opened slightly as he began to repeat the same thing over and over again.
"Ellie... Ellie... Ellie..." His voice was weak, muttering her name without thinking. And then, something snapped within Elyan. His motionless hands began to twitch as his body began recovering from the shock. With a sudden jolt, his body was immediately on its feet, its upper-body leaning over. The silver bullet hit the ground with a metallic ringing, having worked its way out of his head in mere minutes. His healing capabilities had improved, probably due to the rather fresh blood in his system.
A dark smile grew upon Elyan's face which remained underneath his silver hair.
"That temper of yours is also going to get you killed someday..." Elyan spoke in a rather sarcastic tone, having rephrased an earlier statement he had made to her. To anyone sensitive enough, Elyan's aura had become heavier. It was evil, but powerful at the same time.
'So, THIS is power! With this, no one can stop me! Anyone who seeks to prevent me from getting back to her will become my enemy. And my enemies shall be killed.'

Julian quickly tore off some of the tail of his Duster and brought it to Meredith's shoulder, trying to stop the bleeding with a quick bandage. He wrapped it around in a loose fashion, going for urgency more than precision. He tied it into a firm bandage, and then worked on a tourniquet to stem the bleeding a bit. He finished and looked at the drunken Hunter, his upper lip curling back slightly as he approached him rapidly. He stood face to face with him, looking down at him ever so slightly. "If you're so bothered by that silver, I don't see why you're in a position to be passing judgment on the wolves" He said this coldly and smoothly, he had more than a reason to have a vendetta, but he didn't, because Meredith was a Hunter. It was like the Police, it didn't matter what race you are. The Hunters were a race of their own, all working towards one common cause.
He walked away from the man shaking his head lighting up a cigarette. He took a drag and tore off another piece of his Duster, tending to his knee first. It was pretty badly damaged, but he had still only been winged. He then noticed the Vampire, and grimaced. "Well, that's something everyone wants to hear while having a nice quiet cigarette".

"This temper's gotten me into tons of trouble before so that's not about to change, it balances out with the kindness I suppose. If you're logging me as an enemy for not killing you that's kind of strange considering this is twice I could have killed you now but whatever. If you're going to listen to that little snoot maybe I should just kill you right now ..." She paused for a moment as her yellow eyes seized over yet again and this time her voice even changed to one that wasn't her own, After all, it'd be very easy, little vampire. I do have to say, though, these human toys are fun. Too bad she decided not to kill you, it disappoints me greatly. Humans are weak, compassion blinds them to crimes that are as clear as perceptable as the moon herself." Again she was twirling the gun but this time she was giving the vampire a rather eerie smile, one that did not belong to Meredith and one that contorted her features.
"So Ellie's 'her' name ... Interesting ... I wonder what she's like ... Perhaps one day I'll find out and when I do I'll tell her that her little vampire was looking for her, only she won't last long after that. And what you perceive as power is nothing compared to that of other immortals, little vampire." The wolf smiled as it waited to gauge a reaction from the vampire. Threatening its mate was something that wasn't beyond this wolf and neither was harming his mate if things ultimately came down to that. After all, this vampire had caused enough trouble as it was and it was mindless enough to start listening to the little brat, something unacceptable and weak of him. This was a weak vampire that wasn't even worth the wolf's time, just looking at this vampire was enough to compel it to end his search forever and yet it wanted to watch him struggle and fail. For now, the vampire would live.
The wolf then turned to James with a wicked smile, a flash flickering ever so slightly behind it's amber eyes. "And as for you, she's not the wolven half of us, I am. She's the weak half that thinks she's worthy of leading you after she let this vampire scum escape and claim the life of an innocent girl. She believes her hesitation is justified in that she didn't shoot for a reason but that's just what she tells herself. We all know she failed to act and that you are right, she should not be your commanding officer nor should you listen to her. However, don't mistake her for being the wolven part for she is not, she is far too weak. I don't see how you have a say in this, though, your blood is tainted with my kinds blood so you have no space to talk, freak. Be grateful, though, she subdues me and won't grant me my freedom, I can't take my own form otherwise you'd have been dead as well. Be glad she fights persistently."
The huntress shook her head and grabbed hold of her temples and her eyes reverted back to hazel and she looked awfully confused as if she didn't know where she was. Meanwhile the tourniquet that'd been wrapped around her shoulder had bled through as the wolf had been addressing those it wasn't pleased with and failed to address those it viewed as weak. "Wha-What the hell? I-" Her head snapped upwards and she surveyed the area with a panicked look upon her face and once she realized she hadn't horribly mauled everyone she calmed down a little. "Silver ... bullets, yeah, got those ... I'm a hunter, what did you ex-" The huntress had taken a few steps toward nothing in particular, her eyes glazed over and then she simply collapsed, arm spouting blood, breaths coming in whispers.

James growled deep in his throat with out meaning to. It was the feel of her wolf, it had felt like it was crawling, clawing at his insides when the slight shift had happened. He was suddenly pissed and sober, he couldnt help it. Her words about his own tainted blood pissed him off, but feeling her wolf had been worse. He pushed the hat down to cover his eyes again.
THe voice that spoke was higher pitched this time. " Damned wolf..."
His voice dropped back to normal again. " You are right I shouldnt have started firing with out talking." He said to no one really. He stood there as she collapsed, he knew his help was unlikely to be wanted, plus he wasnt sure he could walk over there with out falling on top of her.

"You all are such fools..." Elyan said as he turned away from them all. This change in attitude wasn't like the last time, where he had been influenced by both his vampiric side and an enraged blood lust. No, this time, he had changed. For all it was worth, trying to fight against the natural balance of things only allowed those precious to him slip away. He was tired of being toyed with, he'd reached his limit.
He faced the group of hunters with hate-filled eyes. Was this the path he truly wished to walk down? For now, it seemed he had no other choice. Being an enemy of the Hunter leader meant that all hunters within that association would also be his enemy. He didn't worry though, her own internal struggles kept her from being too great of an issue.
"It isn't wise to judge ones abilities without first seeing them," Elyan replied to the weak Huntress. "You don't know anything about me and that's what leads to mistakes." Within an instant, Elyan was gone, again. He used an ability which had been used by the vampire he had encountered when he first arrived in New York. A unique ability to move ones molecular structure at an alarming rate, thus, teleportation. But the ability had its limits, one of which was concentration. Under any abnormal circumstances, the ability was useless. The user's concentration had to be one-hundred percent on utilizing the technique. Of course, being his first time accessing such a power, it also severely drained him of energy, requiring him to rest.
'From here on out, the real battle begins...'

“Omigawdthankssomuch” Sybil said in one swift gush of jumbled words. She swiftly took the cigarette, popped it between rosy glossed lips and lite it. Inhaling a puff of pure bliss, Sybil let out a dreamy sigh. The old guy was about to be her new BFF and cigarette supply, but then she changed her mind real fast when Julian came up with some totally waaaay off base statement about her clothing. Sybil looked down at herself half expecting to see nothing bit a pair of panties and thinking maybe she'd forgotten to pull on pants this morning. But nope, She had everything on. What the heck was he talking about? Old people were so consecrative, heaven forbid a girl show more than an ankle. Oh the scandal. “News flash Gramps, It's not the 19th century anymore. You are just jealous you can't strut around with all those nasty wrinkles. Botox would fix that you know. Might do you some good.” She grumbled, taking that moment to blow a circle of smoke right in his face. Oh yeah, Take that, Oldie. She made a very blatant effort to ignore the man when he told her to buzz off. Obviously she was done listening to him. Sybil was listening to the wolf chick though, frowning when she heard her complain about a new scent floating in the air. Jewel didn't smell bad, he was like a warm breeze in the middle of a flower soothed forest. The lady had probably spent too much time in the smog suffocated city to know something good when it was literally standing in front of her. When the vampire in turn even had something to say, Sybil gawked and then flashed him the lovely silver ring circling her middle finger and might have even mumbled something like 'up yours leach' but the words were lost in the echo of a gun shot that caused Sybil jumped and let out a little squeak.
All hell seemed to break loose then. Bullets flying everywhere, wasted hunters, dying and then reviving vamps, Oldie jumping around into the line of fire like some brain dead retard and last but no least, Miss Wolfie almost burstin' fur and then passing out. What an exciting city this was. Sooooo much better than Wisconsin. Of course, Sybil wasn't getting involved in any of that. She didn't carry around an arsenal of guns and knifes, She'd probably shoot herself in the foot if she did. She couldn't fight very well either, You can only learn so much from watching Jackie Chan movies. So, She took the easy way out and 'stepped' out of the scene. She slunked back, parted the curtains and stepped though into the in-between. Sure, She was still very much there; but her image appeared to shiver as though she stood behind a gauzy piece fabric. Of course, if someone thought to touch her, their hand was going to go right through her. For all purposes, Sybil was a living ghost at the moment. She might have started bustin' some moves and done the whole 'can't touch this' victory dance, but then she noticed Jewel. He didn't seem to be enjoying the scene. He was seated in a bench with his arms crossed over his bare chest, starring at her with a look that would have registered like something close to disappointment if he were honestly capable of human emotions. The oh-so civilized and advanced creature thought human weapons were pointless. Gawd, What a loser. Sybil thought she'd probably look real hot toting around some pistols.
((For the record, Jewel is invisible to most things. He co-exists in a different realm and unless he's touching something in the living realm, he's not actually there. If that makes sense. Hope that clears things up. >.>))

God, it smelled out there... The man blinked, clearing his sight up. HE let out a loud groan and sat up, cracking his back. "Ah!" He sniffed again, something really reeked, and he couldn't see. The hell was going on? He pushed up experimentally, finding that something gave way, a weak light coming in. The person climbed out of the hole in the stinky prison, and suddenly fell out. He head slammed into the ground, making him groan softly. He sighed, looking up at the dumpster he had been in. "Well, that explains the smell!" Getting up and dusting himself off, he groaned and popped his back, scratching his head. "The hell just..." "Hello Travis!" He screamed and spun around, obviously shocked, "F*#$ s%$%...." (What followed was a line of bad words that I couldn't possibly hope to comprehend, let alone write in here, just know that it was epic.) "Calm down, idiot, it's me." Travis blinked and looked around, suddenly recognizing the voice. "s**t! DIABLO!!!! THAT WAS REAL?!!?!?" "Idiot! I said calm down! And stop calling me Diablo, it's embarrassing, My name is... OVERLORD!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" "I'M NOT CALLING YOU THAT!" Any onlookers to this odd scene would simply see a man in his younger twenties, unkempt and dirty (and honestly kind of smelly), yelling at some invisible person. Kind of a strange sight. "Well, honestly, boy I don't care what you call me. I just wanted to tell you something. Well, I kinda messed up..." Travis raised a brow and looks at the sky. "Umm, how did you mess up?!!?" The voice in his head kind of sighed, and he heard a sound of shuffling feet. "Well, I kind of sent you three years into the future of where I picked you up." Travis closed his eyes and sighed for a second. "... ... ... ..................AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Travis stalked out of there, leaving the alley looking like a tornado had hit it, though most tornadoes didn't tear dumpsters in half. Fortunately, there weren't any humans around to witness his little tantrum.
About an hour later, Travis was sitting on the back step of some restaurant, sighing. The city had changed so much since he had been gone. He had checked all of the old haunts, all empty. "Well, that sucks for you, boy. " "Would you just leave me alone, demon?" Travis felt a hand on his shoulder, then looked up into the face of the devil. The devil went flying with a brutal uppercut. "yaaaa!!!!" Overlord was already behind him, smiling. "That won't work on me, boy. And I came here to give you a gift, so behave!" The devil smiled and help a long club out to the boy, smiling. "This will help you, there are alot of bad guys out there. " Travis couldn't help but laugh, "And YOU tell me this?" He took the club, and threw it across his shoulders, smiling. The weapon did have a nice heft to it, it would probably be too heavy for a normal human to lift, but he could manage it with one hand. "Now leave me alone!" The boy thrust the weapon through, well, the devil, and watched as he dissipated, laughing. "Oh lord, what a freak." All Travis could do was sit on the steps somewhere and sigh, now what? (They will get better as I get back into the swing of things)

'You really shouldn't use that ability in such rapid succession' His child-self, scolding him for getting the hell away from people who wished him dead. How much crazier could this night get. Elyan had made it back down to the street level, having teleported six different times to get as far away as possible. And now, it left him exhausted, having to use a building as a crutch until he could regain some of his strength.
"Still... it... prevents... them... from... tracking..." Elyan didn't bother to finish his sentence. His situation only got stickier from here-on out. He would need to avoid the hunters to the best of his ability. But, with the lead huntress being a Lycan, it only made this task harder. His only ally would be himself and no one else.
Still, his powers had grown substantially, all from giving into his blood lust. He knew he didn't wish to perform another such atrocity, but he would need to continue drinking if he were to be able to keep this level of strength. And, if he could free Ellie from her captors, the two of them would be an almost unstoppable force. He glanced to his left, noticing a stranger sitting on some nearby steps. The look on his face was one of annoyance.

"I swear to... Hey! Would it be blasphemous for me to say the big guy's name, now?" Travis looked like he was talking to himself, yet again. The devil's ever soothing, and pretty familiar at this point, echoed in his head. "Hahaha, no say his name all you want to, boy, it doesn't matter, he doesn't really listen. oh, do you want to know his real name?" "No! I'll just call him the big guy, or something similar, I'm afraid you'd tell me his name is Pablo or something." The devil couldn't help but laugh, the little demon had guessed it first time. (And yes, send your hate mail, god's name is now PABLO!) The devil suddenly appeared beside Travis, standing against the wall behind the boy. "So, what are you going to do with your power, boy?" "I have a name, you know." "Whatever." Travis growled back and stood, up, staring the devil down. "Well, I plan to get a ------- (censored) shower sometime, since you decided to drop me in a --------------------------------- (Wow, Travis has a foul mouth) Dumpster!" The devil laughed, then raised an eyebrow. "Oh, well, seems you have company. Hmm, vampire. Interesting. Well, good luck, boy." The Devil patted Travis's head, which made said 'boy' want to murder... the devil, and dissipated into thin air. Travis turned and faced this new person, his demonic aura full out to anyone who was slightly psychic, so he was lit up like a freaking flare to the psychic vampire. He just stood there, holding his big club over his shoulders, ready to attack if he needed to. "A vampire, huh?" Travis muttered to himself.
