This, is true. Once more, I tried to be civil and end it on MSN before it ever got started, because I posted my complaints about the supposed "Consequences" in here earlier, which brought about an explanation of how my character got killed in the first place.
But yes, in the past, I've been able to shrug off attacks and transform in the process; I can't really do that this year, so it is a lot more balanced than it has been.

Ok, I'm not trying to take sides, here, but I want to post a question that I think might help clear some things up if it gets answered.
Obviously, Sin knew perfectly well what he was doing by executing this brain-swiss-cheesing attack. He's been waiting as long as everyone else to get into this tournament, and he knowingly and deliberately killed his opponent and got himself disqualified. Unless there's something Sin was hoping to happen that didn't, then I think that's the scenario we're looking at. So, my question goes out to Sin as thus:
Why'd ya do it?

For being a ******** DRAGON, Vince got through HoH relatively easy. I think all we did was add a time limit to his transformation, and maybe get his acid clarified. There were a few other things, but it was nothing like "HERP GET THE ******** OUT."
Then he took his HoH-accepted profile and sent it to Vin, and apparently it was too OP for the GTB, which I don't even get because Vin actually gives people more a slightly broader margin of power than HoH does. So I'm not even sure what happened there.
Just like I have no idea why you would kill your opponent in a non-fatal tournament, when you know it's just going to cut any roleplaying short because you get booted from the tournament.

Which is good.
Because now you can actually win for you, not your dragon. The effects of dying gives you interesting roleplay as well. Just roll with it and have fun, its roleplaying a tournament. Not a roleplay tournament.
Flayer: Sin said a LONG a** time ago he was going to kill his first opponent.
He made good on said promise.

'09 Ebris was overpowered. He's back to his older version, now. Read '08 posts if you wanna get an idea of that.
Also, I was conscripted into the Dark Tournament at the END of the application process. I didn't judge 90% of the profiles there, and the profiles I did judge, I sent back with SEVERE revisions. In fact, I was tearing my hair out over how much ridiculous s**t was let in, which caused massive problems down the road.
Most people never seem to understand the idea of keeping s**t simple. Don't have a competitive character that is HUEG, armored, decked out in weapons, AND has powers/transformations/etc. to boot. Having significant and highly-lethal powers in addition to extreme damage resistance, is also a huge no no. Having extreme powers with no form of consequence besides mana loss and OH I GET A BIT TIRED is also retarded.
So yeah, there's actually a lot of stuff I'd fail for a competitive environment. Granted, GTB has a higher level of power, but it's not ridiculous, and I do see some ridiculous characters in it, sadly.

Fiend, is indeed, correct.
I did claim that I planned on killing my first opponent, because I personally thought it would of been hilarious, getting d/qed for wrecking his/her s**t.

NO COG!
You are over POWERED!
OKAY!
OVER POWERED!
Shut up.
I was a normal human till I thought my job would eat my life then it didn't but my spot was given away.
A 5'6" human with no powers. It would have been grand.

Anyhow, I'm done with the arguments. My character was pretty balanced before except for a few minor issues which never really "Won" me anything, but now he's even more balanced with the inability to run circles around his opponents, hacking and slashing all willy-nilly and still transforming.

I like this whole armor discussion.
I also like how KB can punch through armor.

"For the lulz."
That is why I did it. Although, getting matched up against Striker, wasn't something I was expecting. That kind of changed stuff, but I still went through with my intention, and killed him.
