Good luck. Sell everything in the beginning for ammo, and keep an eye out for bears - they take 6 shots, but are worth 150 food.

You should try again and do what I did. Use the big ship, take the forest route, and bring 3 or 4 people. 1000 food really helps out when you run out of ammo.

I am super lucky. I've surviving with no crew save me, and no food.
Also how the s**t do dead crew members get diseases?
