Nik looked up from the chicken as he finished seasoning it, as he heard Anya's yelling and the sound of her punching the door. He set the chicken on a plate, and picked up both it and the bowl of salad with his shadows. Nik headed up the stairs as the shadows set Elle's meal in front of her. He walked to the door and knocked on it lightly, asking, "Anya? You okay in there?" Nik knew that he could have gone under the door, but it would have been rude and invading Anya's privacy. His hand turned the doorknob, only to find it locked. "Hmmm... she must be very angry..." Nik thought to himself, wondering if Anya was okay, she rarely went off like this on her own; it normally took some goading and or taunting to get her so riled up.

Kojiro slowly made his way to the streets near his home, now further into Exire, he clenched his fist, and suddenly shards of ice had begun to fall to the ground, a small fragment of ice had been floating nearby him, even while he was walking along the what should be safer, he was still feeling like he should be on guard. Kojiro's mind was cluttered, and amongst that confusion a sense of vulnerability. Kojiro tried to push them aside as he made it to his room upstairs in the building.

Kojiro took a deep breath and opened the door, and tried to leave all his concerns at the door. Kojiro stepped inside and stepped into a familiar scene....a torn up sheet with a small ball of fluff cuddled up within it. Kojiro sighed and looked closer, plucking the ball out of the sheets. Bringing it up to his face, Kojiro was now face to face with the culprit. Kojiro's eyes lazily looked into the kitten's innocent ones,"...Rikka...." he muttered, it was still somewhat intact, and normally he would not mind, but....that was not her blanket she had torn up, it was another of his coats, luckily it was an old one anyway, It was still usable, until Rikka got to it. The kitten innocently licked Kojiro's nose pretending she did not do anything wrong. Kojiro simply sighed and smiled gently at the white cat, "....Please try to stay out of my stuff..." he muttered. The cat lightly meowed in response. Kojiro was unsure if she really understood, but it was no longer a concern. He set her down and stepped forward, with the Kitten following his steps, it had been quiet in his room, he realized yet again everyone had gone off their separate directions. Kojiro was relived at least Serena was still in Exire, but even then, he had wished he had gone with Raven to press forward on her assault, mostly because he worried about her, he had no intention of killing for the sake of the Owls, like always, he fought to protect the ones he cared about, if those two reasons happened to cross each-other, then he did not think twice to keep going. Kojiro headed towards the bathroom and began to slowly disrobe, he was in no rush, and he needed to clear his mind.

Kojiro washed up and then made his way to the bath, as he stepped inside, he realized he was somewhat cut up, as the hot water began to reveal the stinging pain of some open cuts, they were not serious, just painful. Kojiro stifled a light gasp and kept submerging his body into the bath. Finally settled, Kojiro leaned back lazily, he knew things would only get harder before they got better, but even then, things still haunted him, His family's safety, and his tendencies, as well as those words that continue to haunt his mind.

"Choose your path"

Kojiro felt water lightly drip past his face and onto his chest,"...I don't want be like them....but" Kojiro once again reflected on the fights he had been in, as much as he tries to avoid it, something inside feels very apparent when he unleashes his force on opponents, he feels a thrill, his heart beats quickly, even skipping beats, and his body becomes...light, Kojiro simply stared towards the ceiling,"....I can't be enjoying it....so why does it feel so natural?...why do I feel so fluent in that pointless dance of death..." he muttered to himself as much as he restrained himself and preached a more peaceful solution, he was beginning to question his own heart,"....Did....Did I already choose my path?...am I just trying to go back and change it?..." he wondered aloud. Kojiro sighed as he came to terms with the fact he would have no answer for it until he reached the end of that path. Kojiro knew where Serena was int he world...but he was worried about Raven and Lorna, it was getting more and more common, They would split up, and he would be left to defend himself and struggle to complete his task, and would ultimately need the help from someone else. The groups would get scattered and then Raven would be confronted by some Owl bent on stopping her or some human force that tried to confront her, and she would take them on alone it was the same every time. And then she would....Kojiro stopped and just looked t the ceiling absent minded, ever since he saw it first hand in France, she didn't have to carry the world on her shoulders....was it pride?...It was useless if she thought she could fight alone...she never asked for an aid...she just...Kojiro stopped concerning himself with it. Kojiro could not argue with it, but he still could not help but worry. Kojiro knew that Lorna had gone with Raven on her push to expand New Exire...hopefully she could keep her safe...as well as staying safe herself. Kojiro knew he had to follow orders, and it was to the safe, perhaps no matter how strong he would try to be...he was still useless after all. Kojiro wanted to say something, no matter how weak he was he was sure if they fought as a team they could defeat any of the Owls that confronted them, there was a saying for something like that...but he did not remember it...there were probably several for it. "Something about arrows..." he figured. Kojrio smiled lightly and began to get up from the bath,"....No wonder I lose sleep...." he muttered lightly.

Kojiro Began trying off when he noticed Rikka attacking an "enraged phone" Kojiro looked at it curiously, picking up the phone along with the brave kitten, he shook it lightly, forcing Rikka to let go and plop onto a chair, Kojiro looked at it,"...Serena...." he read as he looked at the message. He smiled lightly and then looked lazily at the kitten as she was buried in the cushion, shaking his head slightly. Kojiro turned to finish getting dressed, hoping he did not keep her waiting. He threw on his coat and quickly headed out to her house.

Kojiro kept quiet an let his thoughts wander in his head for a while, but soon as he was more than halfway towards her place, he began to slowly silence his stray thoughts and let the silence of the area envelop him. Kojiro was focused on where he was going at this point and nothing else, he did not even give the passing owls around him a passing glance, as to add to his cold demeanor towards to whom he labeled as a stranger. He would not hesitate to fight with them though, sometimes confusing people with such naive behavior despite his distrusting nature. Kojiro let the light air passing through the buildings comfort him, lightly playing with his coat and pushing the hair out of his face. At that moment he realized something that was somewhat expected, he looked down to see Rikka nestled comfortably in his coat pocket, even he was somewhat amazed she was still so small, but she was anything but frail at this point, and she made this perfectly clear if Kojiro ever teased her. Kojiro smiled lightly at his companion and finally washed away any thoughts haunting him at the moment, wearing a rather calm look, he told Serena he would not drown himself in such thoughts so often, and he had honestly tried, but he would wear face to avoid revealing his utter failure every so often. As to not to worry or enrage her....or a confusing combination of both.

"Wha---this wasn't my hand a minu--oh..." Che at first found himself complaining at the change of his hand and through slitted, sharpened eyes, he studied them wondering just what the hell happened. Then remembered just what had transpired. Looking up at the dealer who was still caught in his lull of frustration and anger who had not heard his lamentation, he grinned at him. Of course they'd never met before, so that made it easier for him to even complain at all. Luckily, over the loud, thumping drum and bass, he couldn't make out anything the Italian had to say. Finally, when Kate comment on the new state of his hair, slicked back, shining with oil and overall more professional looking than his last style, Che shrugged. It wasn't his choice. Because his hair was destroyed by that magma b*****d Soliel, he had to start over. "Eh...shut up. Don't worry about my hair alright? Geez...."

When their winnings were stuffed into the pockets Che's pockets, he stood from the table leaving everyone behind him simmering and fuming with anger and disbelief. Too bad. They'd won without any form of cheating...except for Che who's hand changed entirely when Kate pleaded with him not to cheat. They had won, so it didn't matter to the man what happened. Now the only thing that was left to cash all of it in and leave with real paper in their hands and pockets. "We can go after we cash this in...if you want to leave, then you can. I'll catch up later alright?" assured Che while picking up chips that weer dropping from his person.

Roulin smirked at Bailey's response regarding whether or not to stay in a better place. He could see the indifference on her eyes without having to turn to face her thanks to his Life Owl vision working it's way into his normal sight. Unactivated, it was just as his regular sight was. The major difference was that he could see everything around him, but not things behind those things. Without that particular aura flowing through him, x-ray vision and other things weren't at his disposal. His smile faded when he gave more thought on her position in the matter. Partly, that was the reason why her arms had minds of their own and remained separated from her psyche still.

"Heh. Once again, would you like a better place to stay or not Bailey? I'm asking you this for a reason." said Roulin before brushing a few loose strands of hair to the back of his ear. Her other question regarding the onyx flow of hair went unanswered for a moment. Roulin the young owl decided the question wasn't pertinent. Still, this was his new student he was talking to. Some form of acceptance had to be practiced here. "I haven't cut my hair in almost four years and I don't plan on cutting it soon either. Now where do you----oh. Here comes the red queen...." Roulin took notice that from the graveyard area walked Erin, the blood manipulator of the trio. The Presidiomni didn't bat an eyelash at her. When she was around, he only saw her power and not her. Her eyes though, just as an Owl's should be, were alluring, somewhat commanding, but still veiled in a coat of anguish and sorrow. She was a sad person with such a great ability. Even if she didn't know that and Roulin did, he made sure to refrain from doing anything to take it. Life had already done more to her than what Roulin knew he could do in moments.

Even though Bailey kept her head forward, her aquamarine eyes glanced upwards and to the side at Roulin as he asked her the same question again. As she answered him, her eyes shifted back towards the direction of their destination. "Well, if you really want a straightforward answer that badly, then yes. I actually wouldn't mind a nicer place to stay for once," she said. She wondered what that reason he had for asking her was, but before she could ask him, a familiar being came into their view, Erin, the blood manipulator or Thaumaturgist as Bailey secretly called her. Because Bailey was an avid reader, she had read about a special magical ability called Thaumaturgy, also known as Blood Sorcery, or Blood Magic. Bailey had barely spoken two words to the girl since they had arrived in New Orleans. She had a very impressive ability, but given her appearance and demeanor, it was clear that she carried a heavy burden. Her powers were changing her not only physically, but emotionally as well. Bailey's lips curled into a small smile towards the young woman.

Demios was about to lead Genya into the house when he noticed a figure rising. He paused for a moment fearing Genya had triggered some demonic potion of doom somehow and Demios's hand sparked with energy for a moment until he realized that for once Genya wasn't freaking out. "...Genya...what is that?" He asked pointing to the newly risen figure. He figured Genya knew what it was or at least was the cause. "And why is it here now?" He asked.

((Other - Genya - Is Demi supposed to working on artifacts right now?))

The Alchemist Owl waved brightly at the figure, which had now risen fully. It was rather tall, taller than both Gen and Demi. "It's Golem-san!" The Japanese Owl said cheerfully.Indeed it was. The dirt and other earthen materials washed off the golem's wooden skin as it became clearer that it was not a zombie. As Gen beamed cheerfully, he suddenly sneezed from the cold and the rain. "Eto... I brought him with me. Remember the charm you made Golem-san?" Genya was referring to the "necklace" that Demi had made for him, the one that could shrink Golem-san to a mini size and be carried around on Genya's neck.

----

((NPC - Cerbs))

Indeed Cerberus the big not so red dog was around and munching up all the steaks that Serena laid out for him. At the sound of the piano, a head peeked out from behind the new sofa. When Serena stopped, two more heads popped up and appeared from behind the sofa. The heads were peeking out from the top of the sofa. Sensing the Vanishing Owl's internal tumult, the three headed guardian trotted over to the Owl sitting on the piano bench and then jumped on the bench. He then lay his heads down on Serena's lap. ":3" However, when Serena began to comment on how people would feel if she vanished, Cerbs snuggled up closer to her and licked her. "Mrrmph." The only way Serena would be able to vanish would be if she died, and even then, it wasn't definite due to otherworldly influences from
certain otherworldly lives (O.W.L.S).

Demios paused as he looked at the golem, to be honest he had totally forgotten about the golem. "Oh...right" He said, now that he got a good look at it he recognized it. When Genya sneezed Demios sighed and wrapped an arm over Genya "Alright lets get you and Golem-san inside" Demios said, it was apparent he added the san only because Genya had. He then began to lead them to the house "Besides, its cold out" He said.

(TFP) (Serilda)

While passing moment in the forest she began to start to feel a bit of a draft nearby and started to shiver as she began to sneeze at the moment she was going to warm up her left arm with her right hand that left the trigger but covered the sneeze in mere seconds. "When did it get this cold?" as Serilda started to place her free hand over her left arm she began to rub it slowly to warm it up a bit before going back in position. "Nothing so far has passed. Something tells me I'm just laying here for nothing." as she scoped in a bit to look around a bit more. "Sighs... this is just a..wait, I see two no three figures in the distance." "!" "Wait a minute is that." Scoping a bit further. "Is that the Thing? no, hes not wearing the pants... well I better take a shot before I move." as she loaded up the cartridge that she had left out so she wouldn't fire on reflex. Slowly clipping it in, she began to put a silent nuzzle over the head, and began to aim which seems to be a person with some equipment, the most threat is the other two, but not being too well she is, but this place is new so anything can be dangerous. "Forgive me young one." as she Fired a bullet out of her silent CheyTac Intervention, and fired Genya from the left ankle, "So their is a wind. Shoot this blows my cover." as Serilda dissipated her Sniper rifle she began to scoot back.

((TFP---Serena))

Serena smiled slightly when Cerbs joined her on the piano bench. She stopped playing to gently pat the three headed dog on each of his heads and laughed when Cerbs gave his opinion on her earlier comment about vanishing. Serena was only to aware that vanishing all together would never work. Not with Cerbs around to hunt her down anyways. “Don’t worry Cerberus…I won’t be going anywhere anytime soon..” Still, the thought was definitely there in the back of her mind picking away at certain nerves and waiting its turn to surface once again. “I was simply thinking out loud that’s all.” The white haired woman moved slightly and stood up from the bench. She gave Cerbs another pat “Kojiro is coming round for dinner…you know what that means right?” Of course the hell hound knew what that meant, or at least he should have grown accustomed to the routine of ‘keeping out of sight’ when Serena had guests.

The Vanishing Owl slipped into the kitchen and began prepping for dinner time. “If you are a good boy Cerbs….I will find you a real tasty snack..” A small smirk pulled on the corner of Serena’s lips. Cerbs should be able to understand what she meant by that. It was rather easy…grabbing a victim that is. “Until then, you will have to make do with the steak I have in the fridge. Don’t worry…I will put a few slabs of steak in the bedroom when Kojiro arrives.” She winked towards Cerbs as she brought a pot of water to boil. At that moment a small tap on the door announced her guests’ arrival. “Right!” Serena headed back into the living room and gently shooed Cerbs into her bedroom and placed the slabs of fresh meat on the ground. “Be good…” Things would have been so much easier had Kojiro known about her pet…but the fact that she would have to explain how and why she had such a beast would be rather difficult. Dusting herself down for no reason, Serena opened her door and smiled brightly “Kojiro! It is good to see you…” Without letting the Frozen Owl say a word, Serena dragged him inside her home. ”Make yourself comfortable. Try out the new sofa”

PostPosted: Wed Dec 07, 2011 4:17 pm

((Other - Genya))

Genya smiled. "Hai!" He nodded as Demi began to drag him inside. Golem-san followed them and probably thought about stoppping by the doorstep to clean off its feet before entering the home. It wasn't until then that the cold hit Genya. "Eto... cold...." He shivered. He almost wanted to make a beeline for a certain room in the house. Like how Demi had made a room in Genya's home his room, Genya had a room in Demi's grandmother's rebuilt house as his laboratory. There were strange things in there although it was mostly all matter based and not living organisms.

But before they made it inside the house, there was a sound and Genya cried out in pain. He looked down and started freaking out. There was blood pouring from his leg and it hurt.

----

((NPC - Cerbs))

The three headed dog smiled innocently as Serena mentioned Kojiro coming. It was almost as if a lightbulb had lit up on top of each of the three heads. The Vanishing Owl didn't really have to find Cerberus a tasty human snack. The dog did that himself sometimes, and sometimes people might wonder why some people mysteriously disappeared for long periods of time never to be heard from again. Nevertheless, the dog let himself be shooed into the bedroom and then commandeered Serena's bed. It certainly wasn't as comfortable as another bed. One of Cerbs heads suddenly shot up. Kittteeeehhh! He could smell Rikka, and Rikka was so very close....

Lucien smiled and waved goodbye to Jeannie. He Walked towards the cliffs, standing near the edge he felt the cool air flow through his hair. He stared out at the view, he found himself thinking of what the others were doing, these sympathetic thoughts were a small release from his constant duties, he didn't drink, he didn't do drugs he had no outlet for work besides thinking, and with his mind thinking always lead down an annoyingly complicated and over analysed road. He placed his hands into his pockets, unsure of their next move as a whole, he had nothign to go off of, they couldn't do a head on attack on Raven's territory, sure they would be able to cause a disturbance but her numbers far exceeded what the four of them could handle, then there was the wild card Moli who was there simply until he found his other companions, Lucien wouldn't put it past him to suddenly pack up and leave without saying a word but he wouldn't blame him there was no real attachment here only coincidental bonds.

The sound of a shower running could be heard, Radiant ran her fingers down the length of her flawless black hair. She exhaled softly as she felt the hot water wash over her skin. She leaned against the wall of the shower, feeling the warmth of the water filling her body. She reached out, turning the water off she stepped out of the shower, the steam filled room fogged up the mirror and cast a white haze into the air. She reached for a towel, drying herself off she wrapped it around herself and stepped out of the bathroom. She leaned against the frame of the door as she looked towards Phantom who was sitting on the edge of their bed, looking at the tv on the wall.

He turned to look at his wife for once his mask was placed to the side, now resting on a side table. He smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Daring, as always." He said as he turned his entire body.

"I've always been a bold woman." she said as she sat down on the bed next to him, looking at the tv she leaned forward. "has there been any good news?"

"About as good as one can expect. The world is in turmoil....But what else is new? This is just the way the world is, exciting and new." he smiled and leaned back a little.

"The next generation sure has done a fine job of making it that way. I don't know whether or not to be proud, or to place a bullet between their eyes."

"Who knows you may have to do both eventually."

"Don't play games, we have an appointment to make." She said as she stood up and walked towards her closet.

"True but who knows things have gone rather smoothly lately, I don't see why this won't go any different."

"Phantom we're bending more then one rule with this recent contract you know that right?"

Phantom smirked and laughed a little. "What else is new? People aren't remembered for the rules they follow, they're remembered for the ones they break."

All of it was gone now. The photos, the flowers and gifts and even the little mementos left behind to give constant, painful reminders. It was all now lost to the fire that licked at the sky like a formless, shining blue creature giving some form of hyperkinetic praise. The chateau that was once home to all Heralds was now just a smoldering pile of ash beneath the flower-like form of the electric fire above it. Timothy Av Choque, the Herald who had all but lost his mind some short two months ago, had made it clear to everyone that he didn’t plan on dying. Not by the hands of some young little snotnosed upstarts. Thomas either. That b*****d had managed to become the Wind Herald without Timothy being able to stop him. That was his second mistake. The first…which he’d live to regret for eternity, was letting Sabrina go off on her own to fight against the element of Death itself. Recounting his intelligence, the Herald leader asked himself why he’d even allow such a thing to occur. If he himself ran from Thomas at first sight, then why would he even let her go off to fight him alone?

The pain…the unrelenting, siring, burning pain of loss was evident in the Herald’s large, doughy, light blue eyes. The flickering of the flame before him was enough to quell it. It was enough to warm his body which had been chilled by the tight embrace of failure. The broken tables, glasses and pictures held some of his anger as he released it just before torching the house of the Heralds. Watching his memories of his family fade into the ever consuming glow of the flame, Timothy found himself wanting to smile. His spirit needed it and so did his chaotic and frantic mind. He wanted to smile, to grin, to show some sign of humanity in this moment that so perfectly made him feel just like a human. If it weren’t for his arm which was burned away by The Life Owl’s attack, he might have. The metallic frame of an arm which now extended from the socket where his real arm should be looked just like his old one. The difference now was that it was metallic down to its core. To compliment his power, it remained malleable so that it could form various weapons when needed. For now though, it was just a wound that glimmered in the sunlight and moonlight.

Turning away from the smoldering rubble now, Timothy looked upwards into the sky with eyes that gleamed as they scanned. There was nothing above him. No answers to his questions, no friends or family to fall back on…nothing. Just himself, his power, his plans and his will. His metal fist clenched and shrieked as the surface rubbed against the other. His snow white hair stood up on end and bristled with electric surges. Looking to the dying remnants of his past, the Herald’s skin began to chip revealing beneath the exterior a glowing, dodger blue form. Before taking to the skies like a bat out of hell, Timothy grinned finally and through narrowed eyes stared at what he knew would be his future. A burning pile of nothingness. Only a phrase was left to it all.

“The world…is ours….”

Those voices were treading on thin ice right now. Anya was now tense, angry, and had quite the growing headache. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as right after killing Sabrina, but it still hurt. Pinching the bridge of her nose and trying not to tear her hair out in clumps (which would not have been very good, and would cause Nik to worry even more), Anya began pacing back and forth across her room. Curses were muttered at a low growl as she stalked back and forth across the floor. Why oh why wouldn't those voices just shut up already?

Suddenly, Anya was jolted out of her ranting by a knock at the door. Blinking in shock with a light gasp, she spun around to look at the door as her back had been towards it at the time. She stood there, staring at the door for a moment after Nik's muffled voice asked if she was alright. Then, when the doorknob was turned a bit, presumably by Nikolai from what she could tell, Anya lowered her hands to her side and attempted a scowl. It looked silly because she was ashamed that someone had actually heard her. When she was shouting, she hadn't cared because so much was going on all at once. But now that Nik was actually outside the door, she had no idea what to do.

"I-I'm fine!" Anya stammered, trying to sound confident even though she really wasn't. Of course, Anya still sounded mad because she had wanted to be left alone. But not knowing what to do was effecting her tone a tiny bit. Knowing Nik, he could probably sense that something was wrong even though she had said there wasn't.

Kate simply stared and watched as Che began fretting over his hand. It seemed he had accidentally changed his own cards. Perhaps due to what she had done earlier, which was most likely. Of course, this gave Kate some sense of satisfaction knowing that she could rattle Che like that. However, her expression remained neutral while the Mastering Owl answered her comment about his hair. "..." She remembered how ticked off he had been that Soliel had destroyed his spherical afro and having to start all over again to get his hair the same way he wanted it. "Worry? I am not worried about your hair." Kate replied, rolling her eyes slightly. "Do not flatter yourself. In fact, I much prefer this look instead of that ridiculous hair style that was ruined. If you could even call that... 'afro', was it? ...a hair style." With that, Kate turned her face away from Che in a somewhat disgusted manner. Though, that was only because she really hadn't liked that afro very much, so what she had just said was quite true.

The next portion of their conversation revolved around what they should do next. Che wanted to go cash in their winnings, of course. Kate let out an exasperated sigh. "Fine. You go do that... I will be on my way out." After she said this, Kate turned away from Che and started making her way smoothly through the crowded casino floor. She knew Che would catch up to her sooner or later, and he would be fine on his own.

There were a few reasons why Erin had become so detached from the people around her. She was dealing with a lot in her life. Her sister disowning her, her powers mutating and changing, Elle's plans to assimillate the minds of all the powerful psychics in the world. Because of these things, Erin was scared, uncertain, and sad. Throughout these two months she had been trying to come up with a good plan to stop Elle, without having to hurt her physically. However, she was just beginning to realize that her sister was no longer her sister in the figurative sense of the word, as in emotionally. So maybe... the only way to actually stop Elle was in fact to kill her. There was however, one other major thing on Erin's mind. Since her incident in Rome, Erin now remembered what she and Elle were created to do. This whole time, she's been torn between following the programming which Elle had been going along with or staying with her friends. Erin didn't want to hurt her friends. They were all she really had left in the world now besides her powers if Elle was no longer in the picture.

As Erin continued on through the streets, she still kept her gaze focused on the ground. However, within another couple of moments, she felt like someone was looking at her, staring. It was then that Erin was jolted back into reality. Blinking a little, she looked up and glanced around. It was only then that she noticed Roulin and Bailey nearby. Both of them were looking at her, watching maybe. To avoid any awkwardness, Erin gave the two of them a small smile of greeting before heading in their direction. She stopped a few feet away from them, smiling to hide her whirling thoughts. "Good morning, you two."

Nikolai frowned a bit when Anya delivered her answer; he could indeed tell that something was wrong. He pondered what to do, he didn't want to just let himself into her room, as that might have gotten her even more angry at him. He sighed quietly and said, through the door, "You don't sound fine. Is something wrong?" Nik quietly stood outside the door, if Anya didn't want him in her room, he wouldn't go in there. After a long pause of silence, Nik asked, "Can you at least open the door? This is rather silly, having a conversation this way..." Nik was now worried even more about Anya, but he wouldn't say that, considering her rather strong overreaction to his worrying just a few minutes ago. If she didn't want him to butt in, he'd drop it eventually, but not at the moment.

Side pockets, back pockets, shirt pocket and coat pockets were brimming with poker chips thanks to the efforts of Kate and Che. The Italian hadn't seen such an amount of money in years. Sadly, it only reminded him of both Will's vault and the time he and his son spent bumming around a good portion of the United States. If his eyes could take the shape of dollar signs in some cartoonish reference, they would've, but much to Che's chagrin, this was the real world. As he crawled around to pick up dropped chips, he did well to hide his expression from Kate whom he wanted to leave. Victoria had contacted him so that meant that she wanted or needed something. The two were never peaceful when in they were in the presence of the other and Che didn't want to sit through a catfight.

"...hey now. C'mon...I'm glad you like this new style, but please, hold the comments for later. Don't pour them all on at once please." Then there was Kate berating what Che believed used to be fourth greatest thing to ever happen to him. His hairstyle which was destroyed by Soliel two months ago. That volcanic sonovabitch would get his in due time and when he did, Che hoped it would be him to deliver it. Rolling his eyes out of the sight of the woman who was now leaving, Che murmured beneath his breath, "My hair is bad? Freaking Russian....you get more hair on your legs than I do on my hair...." When she was out of sight, or at least shrouded within the crowded casino, Che stood up and stared down a man who had his eyes locked with the chips still dripping from his person. Taking a step to him, the Italian widened his eyes, stared back for a second, then jumped at him. This of course sent the man back to the slot machine he'd just left. Good. Now, it was time to cash in the little discs of money...

~You, Victoria....what do you want now? I kinda have thing going on here, so I'd rather not have you ruin it for me....~

Roulin could see from just the exchange that his session with Bailey might be a little strenuous, but hardly anything that would require physical coercion. Folding his hands in the pockets of his dark coat, Roulin trudged through the snow that accumulated on the ground. It didn't come above his shoes, but at this rate, in about a few more hours, it would be at his shins. Looking back at Bailey, Roulin grinned at her. "It's not me that wants a straightforward answer, it's you. When you figure that out, then your life will become easy. Or easier rather. Your power should've been under your control by now." Finally, Erin joined the duo. Roulin was no fool and he didn't need his innate ability to tell that the girl's emotions weren't in order. Sneering now as she spoke, he couldn't help but be bombarded by her broken spirit. He'd make sure to talk to her later, but for now, he wouldn't let it get to him. "Good morning to you too Erin. You finished being sad yet?"

Within a dark, cold room sat a man with blonde hair that reached the small of back. His red eyes stared intently at the only door that lead into the room. Behind it were several people, all of which, he knew, had guns of some sort. They had to be UNS soldiers as usual. The meditating man quickly grew annoyed at the repetitive actions of the self-proclaimed Hammer of the Human World. Bunch of cowards they were. The crimson eyed young man wasn't prepared to be killed like that. Not by some fools with guns. In front of him was a body, charred to death by a blanket of magma next to the decapitated body of a young, red-headed woman. It hurt him to kill the girl more than it had the man. Only men deserved to die Soliel thought. The battlefield was no place for a woman. Only Raven and Lorna made him reconsider this ever.

When the team of men and woman burst in, Soliel quickly made his move. It was large move that did away with the lot of them almost effortlessly. His body, upon hearing them come through the door. burst into a stream of magma that pressed them all against the outside wall. The hallway was melted down and the room behind that wall was as well. The team was shot from the floor down to the ground below. Those who survived the drop were drowned and burned away by the magma that was Soliel's sentient form. When his liquid body finally took shape, it resembled a dog the height of a school bus and the length of a town car. Tearing away at the soldier that he pressed hard against the ground with his paw, he made sure that each swipe of his burning teeth were felt on their skin before he finally tore them to pieces. The streets of Massachusetts were his now thanks to Raven's appearance in the area. Slowly, but surely, they were moving into Virginia. Soon, the capitol of the US would be there's and so would the world.
