Masahiro entered the academy and immediately went to find himself a shady spot. The mass of battle and the headache of expended chakra, as well as the beast niggling at the back of his own mind, the one that wished to kill more and more, were wearing down on him. Finding a comfortable place he settled himself in and began meditations, his thoughts returning to his former home as the thoughts of the battle here in Sunagakure came to bear in full force. He thought of his god-daughter, then something brought his thoughts to the cat's summoning island. The little white cat that had garnered his attentions and lead him throughout the island before. He thought on this for several minutes and then his mind wandered back to the past and the painful memories within, then drudging back to his mother and father. Then to thoughts of his long passed friend, the one who had left his daughter to his care. Masahiro bit his thumb at the thoughts that sprung forth and a drop of blood splashed down onto his pants. His eyes looked forward and he saw the visage of their faces, and then images of his own power beyond them. Once more the cat's image flashed through his mind. [ 2/5 ]
Placing his hands to the ground a Kuchiyose seal spread from the point of contact, spiraling out several times. From this a small white cat stepped, preening itself as it looked up to the Sage of the Wild Cats. The Sennin looked down to the creature with a quizzical expression on his face and the cat only yawned. [ 3/5 ]
As the cat yawned, however, something strange occurred. The world spun around Masahiro and he found himself being absorbed into the creature, the surroundings about him being made of fleshy materials, entirely organic, but still welcoming and inviting of the man who was now trapped within. Masahiro took a few moments to inspect his queer surroundings, trying to figure out exactly what had happened, and that was when it struck him. The creatures he had gained Contract to had decided to share their powers with him a little further. [ 4/5 ]
Breaking his mind free of self-imposed derision the Sennin stepped forward, placing his hand on one of the walls within the cat's innards. The material before him opened up, allowing the Hatake to exit. Stepping through the opening the man was pulled forth through the mouth of the feline and appeared in a kneeling position before the cat. He turned to face the fae creature, which merely looked at him and mewed, before jumping upon his shoulder and curling up in the fold of his flak jacket. Appearing in the academy, Theo walked over to the shelf and grabbed the scrolls for the types of techniques he was going to train, starting with some basic maruton. He sat by the wall and unfurled the scroll a bit, reading through it.

Finding a few jutsu that he liked, Theo set the scroll aside for now and stood up. Creating a shadow clone, Theo formed a handsign and locked eyes with the clone. The clone would suddenly have its mind flooded with images of it being slaughtered, causing it to cringe in fear and back away from the original. After a few steps, the clone froze in place, its body giving in to the shock of the mental images. (1/1)
Shikumi no Jutsu [ Death Viewing Technique (Killing Intent) ] Learned!
Releasing the first Jutu, theodin walked towards his clone, performing more handsigns he’d seen in the scroll, and placed his hand on the head of his clone. He would see the mental images that the clone saw, as well, as travel back in his memory to when he watched his mom apparently die in battle. He’d even take the clone back to rewatch the other genin die back during their part of the battle at Saraswasti. After a minute, Theo ended that technique, removing his hand from the clone’s head. Stepping back from the clone, Theo performed anther couple handsigns and from the clone’s perspective vanished. A split-second later, the original appeared behind the clone, sword drawn. Thrusting forward with his blade, Theo ran it through the clone’s chest, right where the heart would be, causing it to poof from existence (1/1)

Creating another clone, Theodin told it to throw a bunch of kunai and shuriken at him. When the clone fired the weapons, Theodin performed a couple signs he’d seen in the scroll and felt his hair begin to grow. As his hair grew, quickly being even longer than his mom’s, it curled and wrapped around the rest of his body. Suddenly the hair hardened outward, forming spikes which repelled the incoming projectiles. (1/1)

Letting the long, spiked hair recede, Theo locked eyes with the clone. Weaving signs with his right eye, Theo looked into the clone’s mind, essentially reading his own mind. He maintained eye contact until he picked up on the thought of throwing more projectiles his way. (1/1)

Once the clone threw more kunai at the original, Theodin made his hair extend again to protect himself. He then changed his handsign, causing the long hair to shoot towards clone. The clone was quickly entangled in the white mass of hair. With another handsign, the long hair all hardened into spikes at once, impaling the clone and sending it poofing away. (1/1)

Reading through the scroll some more, Theo found a jutsu that’d let him spy with less chance of being detected. The jutsu would let him simply blend and merge with things in the environment. Focusing his chakra, Theo walked towards the wall of the academy. Touching it, he tried to push his hand into it, but had no luck. (1/4)
Focusing more chakra, Theo decided to start slow, only concentrating on his finger for this try. Concentrating the chakra into his index finger, he reached out and poked the wall. To his surprise, he watched his finger sink and blend with the wall up to his second knuckle. (2/4)
Feeling the chakra in his finger, Theo tried to match his arm to the same feeling. After a few seconds of concentration, Theo pressed forward into the wall with his arm. This time, he merged up to his right shoulder. Withdrawing his arm, he mae a mental note of the feeling in his arm when the jutsu worked. (3/4)
Concentrating his chakra, Theo spread it out to his entire body, trying to match the feeling he had in his arm a few moments earlier. When he felt like he had it, he placed his hand against the wall and walked towards it. Slowly, Theo sank entirely into the wall, turning at the last second to stare into the room from his hiding place. Walking along the wall, he found that he could travel unseen around the room as well. Stepping out of the wall, he check his scroll again for a couple more jutsu. (4/4)

The next technique was pretty basic, but could prove useful at times. Performing a quick handsign, Theo caused a thick mist to develop within the training room, to the point that visibility was nearly zero. Closing his eyes for a second, Theo focused some chakra into them. When he opened his eyes, they would shine slightly with his chakra as he was able to see through the mist with no problem. (1/1)
Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] Learned!
Standing within the thick mist, Theo had an idea. Remembering something his dad had used during the battle, Theo performed a few more handsigns and felt gas expelling from his pores all over his body. Looking around he saw a slightly off color mist forming around him. Taking a small test breath, Theo started coughing immediately, he’d have to get a breath mask before using this one a lot. (1/1)
Doku Kiri [ Poison Mist ] Learned!
Before continuing his training, the jounin held out his hands and fired several burst of futon chakra from his palms to dissipate the regular and poison mists to make sure no one who might wander into the academy while he was training would get hurt.

Scanning the scroll some more, Theo found a pair of powerful jutsu that worked well with his usual fighting style. Drawing his swords, he began focusing his chakra as he held them down at his sides. (1/4)
Looking at his blades as he concentrated, he saw them slowly begin to glow with chakra, and began to raise them in front of him. As the blades neared one another, electricity began to arc between them. When the blades crossed, they began to surge with electricity. (2/4)
Raising the swords over his head, Theodin focused on a training dummy across the room. Slowly, he heard the arcing electricity around his blades increase in speed, and apparently power, until the swords were directly over his head. (3/4)
As soon as his swords were directly overhead, electricity-like chakra shot form them towards the sky. A few seconds later, the chakra lightning moved through the clouds and came crashing down onto the dummy Theo had been focusing on . When the blast was done, Theo looked at the dummy, and saw it charred from the strike, as well as split down the middle. (4/4)
Ikadzuchi no Kiba [ Lightning Bolt Fang ] Learned!
Lowering his swords again, Theodin began to focus chakra once again. Bringing them closer together, the electricity started arcing between them again as he slowly raised them up. Theeelctrical charge increased again, slowly, as Theo raised his blades. (1/4)
Raising the blades higher, Theo felt the charge gaining strength as he saw clouds rolling in. As the swords reached their height, completely over Theo’s head, the blades crackled and sparked as Theo spun them around to an underhand grip. (2/4)
With his swords in underhand grip, Theo forced a bit of chakra into his muscles and drove the blades downward. Sinking them into the ground by his feet, Theo saw the electricity begin arcing through the earth across the academy towards a group of dummies. (3/4)
As the lightning drew closer to the dummies, it split into several tendril, each going towards a separate dummy. A split second later, each dummy was hit form below by a tendril of lightning. There was a loud clap of thunder as the air around the dummies expended and contract on itself from the forces of the strikes. (4/4)

Finding a jutsu that could be useful for infiltrating, Theo created a shadow clone. Reading through the jutsu again, the original stepped within the shadow of his clone and sat the scroll down off to the side before performing the handsigns he’d read. When he finished, he felt himself sink into and merge with the clone’s shadow. Experimenting with the jutsu, the original began moving his arms while merged with the shadow and saw the clone moving the same way. Realizing he could control people form within their shadows, Theo emerged from the shadow, a smile on his face as he had ideas running through his mind…

San entered the University, at a leasurley saunter as he walked down the halls, passed the various rooms, and kept his awareness of the many students out and about. The sound of battle, sparing, laughter, meniacle laughter filled his ears as he approached the last turn to his office, overseeing the battle room, and stopped to allow the room to fill his mind. The kids didnt pay him much mind, as they continued their training in studies. Making his way through the door, the ninja closed it behind him, allowing the quite isolation he had been so used to fill his ears again.
Grabbing a portrait off his desk, the blind sannin ran his hands over it, feeling the different texture, each line and change of ink telling a different story and a different personality. It was then that he finally figured out what he was sensing and becoming sensitive to, the off feeling he had since he returned.....
The village had moved on with out him. It took a moment for this fact to settle truthfully in his mind, but it wasnt a harsh reality he had to get used to. Everywhere he looked, he saw a different personality, a different take on the same personalities he had essentially raised. Theo had grown into quite the ninjutsu specialist, so much as to invent his own golem technique. Reports on his desk explained his teaching methods, how practical and down to earth he had become. Just looking at the drills he had designed, it forced the students to take their knowledge and scrap it, teaching more about the importance of adaptation then the reliance of skill.
Sniffing briefly, the headmaster felt the scent of cleaning oils, fire, and earth. It seemed even Knives had found a place of service, his place as a host never slowing him down. His ears picked up mighty mites trying to act and mimic the large man's sword play as if he were an epic hero of legend. Yet even in their mimicry, san could feel their heart, their intent. It seemed Knives had been passing on the true nature of his art, putting your intent into your blade. Even with sub-par mechanics and movements, the kids techniques were swift and confident. They seemed to have grasped his lessons well.
His thoughts drifted to Ayame, he influence as the new kage was apperent in every interaction, deal, handshake, and classroom. The students felt more of a...team...a single band whose soul purpose was to accomplish their goal and leave no man behind. Each student pushing the next to reach there full potential, competing not to outshine the others...ut to insure they where not the weakest link and the cause of their packs demise. The standard for Suna ninja had been raised even higher, not out of fear...but awe.
San smiled for a moment, and placed his picture on the desk again. As he leaned backwards, he bumped the book case behind him, and a porclean mask fell into his lap. The mask, which had represented his activity as a VOID operative and director of intellegence, whos duties had taken him away fom suna in her most critical hour. Without his student, whom rose above the ranks, who became a legend in his own right, suna surely would have faced worse. James, who undoubtably held suna's gates. James, who had been an inspirational figure to each following generation of ninja. James...who simply followed the path to his own Gung-fu. Hard work over time to accomplish skill. The supreme way through ceaseless, tireless repitition. Each of his closest personified this in their own way, their own gung-fu.
Placing his mask back in his bag, the ninja let out a sigh. His dream, his actions had let to an era that no longer required him. He had a lifetime of his own training to perfect his craft. Now it seems like he could take a step back, guide from the shadows. He had mastered, countless times, the art of dying. Now it seemed he could finally practice and perfect the art of living, balance and harmony in ever action. This brought a smile back to his face. He knew he would never retire...the world would always be in flux and his choices had led him to a lifetime of service. But he would have it no other way. He gained his craft because his power came to him when he needed it...not because he wanted it.
Then he looked at the most precious picture he had, an iron pellet paint portorate of his adopted little girl, shiroi. Through this paint, it was one of the few pictures san could actually see, and thus he held it very dear to him. and then it happened....he felt it deep inside his heart...or his middle dantien...he really couldnt tell. The real response, the real way he felt. He was connected, intimately, to everything in the world. He felt like he was the world, he was every life that ever lived and ever will. What was causing this sudden powerful feeling? He cleared his mind, letting the sensation guide him to leave his senses. All life was connected....all creation was built of the same blocks, the same energy. all one must do is feel it.....touching his paint brush, feeling the meridians of the five elements, san simply pushed his chakra through a trigram likfe form and to his amazement the brush turned into a flower. This filled san's heart with joy, and he placed the flower on Shiroi's picture frame.
Filled with a happyness he had not felt in quite some time, san went out into the battle room. it was time to interupt training...to play a game of splat balll.....

Grabbing his fuuton scroll, Theo read through it until he found a familiar sounding jutsu. “Geyser Creation, eh?” he muttered to himself, remember the huge blasts of hot air his father had created during the battle. He figure this must be that jutsu. (1/4)
Reading Through the jutsu’s description, along with the handsigns necessary to form it, theo committed the seals to memory, as he had numerous other sequences. Standing in the middle of the room, he began to focus his chakra, slowly performing the handsigns, to help him remember them. He’d feel his chakra begin to surge as it transferred to the spot on the ground a few feet in front of him. (2/4)
Slowly finishing the handsigns, Theo looked at the ground before him. Where once flat even ground had been, there was now a bulging, cracked surface, in a ten foot wide circle. Still watching, Theo noticed small trails of gas leaking from the ground. (3/4)
Still focusing on the ground, Theodin walked around the circumference of the apparent geyser, inspecting it to make sure that he had formed it correctly. When it appeared to be formed right, Theo grinned, saying to himself, “Alright, let’s see if it works…”With a quick surge of chakra, the geyser erupted, launching a huge mess of scalding air and gases from the ground high into the air. After the blast, Theo watched the golem that was the academy repair itself, filling in the floor. (4/4)

Unsure of what to train in next, Theodin walked over by the wall where he had his pile of scrolls. Sitting down to read through one for fuuinjutsu, he heard a soft noise as the door opened and closed. Looking up he saw his teacher and friend, San. With a slight smile on his face, he welcomed the elder ninja, “Hey San, How ya doin? I’m just doin’ some ninjutsu training if you want to hang out a bit.” He then went back to reading the fuuin scroll as he waited to hear San’s reply; he figured he could keep training while talking.

Theodin done goofed. One does not simply step onto the battle floor while a game of splat ball raged between San teamed with a few other instructors against a room full of might mites. One of the instructors passed San the ball, to which he popped up just below hip level. Using his resshuken trained legs, the sannin rocketed the inflatable ball at break neck speeds, while several mighty mites jumped out of the way welling "dooooooooooooooodge!" As they did so. This created the perfect screen against theo was the ball aimed to hit him dead center of mass. Theo forgot rule one of the academy. "One does not simply walk into a game of splat ball"

Hearing the commotion, Theo’s senses picked up something flying towards him. Looking up quickly he saw the ball racing towards him and made a quick handsign. Holding his palm towards the ball, he fired a burst of wind to slow it down so that he could catch it. Once the ball was in hand, Theo punched it back at San and the kids, adding the water augmentation from hsing-I to it, to further compress the ball, increasing its speed; he then added a burst of wind behind it, further increasing its speed. As the ball went racing across the room again, Theo chuckled as the kids dived to avoid being hit as the ball went racing back at San on the other side of the room. Standing and grabing his scrolls, Theo chuckled, “Sorry kids, and San, I’ve got a ton of training to do, don’t really have time to play. But I’ll be back once I’m done.” With that, Theodin would vanish from the room.
Appearing in another, empty room, Theo sat back down to read through his scrolls.

Finding a few seals he wanted to learn, Theo made a handsign to create a small block of ice in the palm of his hand. Focusing some chakra, Theo watched as his right index finger began glowing as it coated over with sealing chakra. Sitting there, Theo slowly carved a picture of a bear into the ice block, it wasn’t a good drawing, but it was enough to show he knew the techiqie, he then released the ice to melt back to normal. Shikoku Fuuin [ Finger Engraving Seal ] Learned!
Finding another barrier jutsu he though could be useful, Theo performed the handsigns shown in the scroll and watched the first barrier form. Maintaining concentration, Theo saw more barriers begin forming around the first. After a while, Theo was standing in the center of about 15 layered barriers. Looking at the scroll again, he grinned slightly, seeing that even a bijuu would have a hard time getting through these barriers. (1/1)
Reading through another interesting fuuin, Theo pulled five scraps of paper form his bag, drawing the seal slowly on each one, committing it to memory. He walked over and placed the first tag on the door of the room he was in, then walked around the room placing a tag on each of the other three walls and flying up to place the fifth tag on the ceiling. Creating four shadow clones, they all scattered to differnet tags, with the original going for the tag on the door, removing them all at once to beak the seal. (1/1)
Gofuu Kekkai [ Five Seal Barrier ] Learned!
Removing four more scraps of paper form his bag, Theodin drew the same fuuin symbol he saw in the scroll on each of them. Walking around the room, he placed them in a square formation on the floor. Backing away a few steps, Theo made a single sign and the four tags detonated in a large explosion. (1/1)

Seeing another potentially useful seal, Theo read through it, finding out that it would let him put a time delay or a duration on his other seals. Performing one set and handsigns, Theo placed a barrier seal on the floor, then quickly performed the handsigns show on the scroll and layered it on top of it. Spotting another fuuin he liked the sound of, Theodin puled a scrap of paper form his bag and slowly copied the seal formula onto the paper. Adding chakra to it, he stuck the paper to the wall, activating it, then pulled it away to test if it worked. Suddenly, an exact copy of himself emerged from the wall and ran at him. As soon as the copy was within reach, Theodin slapped it with a seal, paralyzing it, then took off its head with a sword, ending the technique. (1/1)
