[ Kyle ; Kuja : Shipwreck Cove : Black Pearl ~ Deck ]
What's got the great Ultima so puzzled?
.:I'm going to ignore that quip, hume:.
Oh, fine, whatever. What's on your mind?
There was a brief pause before her response.
.:You shouldn't be able to use healing magic.:.
Pfft, what? It's Light magic, why shouldn't I be able to?
About that time, they'd docked, and Kyle only barely noticed that the ship had stopped moving. Still in thought, he merely leaned against the mast.
And heck, I just did, so I'm not sure what...
.:That's just it, though. You're not... what do they call them in your little games, a White Mage? You're a Dragon Knight, Dragoon, whathaveyou. You're not a healer, not a monk... you should only be able to channel my magic offensively.:.
And yet, all evidence points to the contrary.
.:Yes, but only at the cost of your own life force. Your heart... you've somehow managed to twist my Light magic. Why would you be willing to give up your own health so readily for the others? Why are you so insistent on putting others before yourself? Joseph has a point, you can't help anyone if you're dead.:.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you-
.:Even if they do not, yes yes, you've quoted it before. But we both know you wouldn't accept their help anyway. You've only proven your own argument wrong.:.
Why does it matter so much to you? I'll tell you just like I told Joe, I know my limits. You don't have to worry about your precious little host offing himself, if that's what you're so worried about.
.:Hmph.:.
Silence returned to Kyle's mind once again, so he took the chance to look around. He struggled to think about when they should split; he was hesitant to do so again, especially with that nameless monster on the loose, but they needed to go see King Triton. And even then, he knew that Tia Dalma would soon be visited by Davy Jones, which meant the Replicas were probably still nearby...
Ugh, what to do...
.:You're so... different from most humes I've known.:.
Oh?
.:Hmph. Must be your stupidity.:.
Dad dammit, woman!
"Oh thank the gods!" came a shout from the Captain's Cabin as Kuja immediately wobbled out and toward the docks, still looking rather sickened. He'd apparently been in there throughout the entire Nameless battle.

((Okay, take two. -____-))
[Noelle .:. Jack ~ Shipwreak Cove ~ Black Pearl]
Noelle practically felt like jumping for joy when they were finally docked and ready to leave. She wanted to get off the ship as soon as possible to climb down the dock's ladder and rinse the now-dried blood from her arms and legs. One thing got in her way, however.
"Oi! Pygmy!" Jack called to the small blonde when he saw her trying to sneak off the ship. "The entrance to the lower deck is over there, yet, I seem to see another right here. You are the solution to this portal problem!"
The agromancer stopped and looked over her shoulder with an expression of indredulity, ". . . Did . . . did he just call me a Pygmy?"
When Elizabeth came by, Jack's attention moved from the confused, slightly-peeved looking Noelle to someone who could actually see eye-to-eye with him. He moved closer to her as if he were going to have a private word with her.
"Ah, my dear Elizabeth." He said in a slightly softer tone. "Not crying too much over your lovely William, are we? Never fear! He shall be rescued from the . . . suction cups of the formidable squid face in due time."

[Elizabeth : Shipwreck Cove : Black Pearl]
Elizabeth's eyes hardened as Jack mentioned rescuing Will. She soon looked away as she spoke, "Don't be ridiculous Jack. We should be more focused on the meeting which lies at hand."
Without waiting for a reply she headed off the plank onto the dock and joined Barbossa. Though her voice had came off harsh to Jack. Her heart was torn between the meeting and the desire to have Will back. Elizabeth, however was not going to let her emotions get the best of her. The Pirate Lords would not listen to her if she were one.
"Do we know how long it would be before we can gather the Council?" she asked to Barbossa.

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : In the Water]
Dawn continued to allow Joe to lead her through the water towards the docks where the ship had landed. She saw that others of the ship had already started to leave the ship. She stopped, but continued to hold onto Joe's hand.
"How do you suppose we get up there?" Dawn asked, her voice still somewhat shaky due to her situation.

[[Louis : Black Pearl : Main Deck]]
When things seem to quiet down and calm, he followed Sarike's voice to face her general direction. When she implied her spell might have been the cause his plight, his face contorted slightly to reveal a moment of frustration. His rage ordered he explode, barrage her with insults capable of breaking most people down to their core but his logic told him it wasn't her fault.
"It's alright," he said with a heavy sigh as his features relaxed, "You couldn't have known."
Louis shook his head, still agonized over the loss of his sight, "There may be a way to recover my sight, but it will take time. A physical blindness could never be remedied, but it's possible with time since this seems to have been caused by two conflicting magics, I may be able to heal on my own."
Louis lifted his hands to his face, darkness flowing from his fingertips and over his eyes. The darkness took on a silky texture and stretched around the sides of his head, weaving underneath his hair. It formed an X at first over his forehead before a final piece formed crossing through the center and filling the space between the two in entirely creating a very layered look. Around the back where it tied together it grew out a bit into two flowing sheets extending three quarters down his spine.
As Louis pulled his hands away from his face and each other, there was a dim glow that grew brighter for a moment before simmering down into a smoldering emblem on the center of his newly acquired blindfold, sealing it in place, "Until that happens... just let me hold onto you for a bit..." Louis' body language showed he wasn't comfortable and as he extended a shaky hand forward, even wincing once or twice as he contemplated the inevitable contact, he added, "I won't rely on you too much... I... I just don't have the confidence in myself to find my way around a strange place by myself right now."

[Joe: Shipwreck Cove: Water]
The male looked from Dawn to the ship, his mind pondering. How were they going to get up there? Then, it came to the male, a small smirk on his face signifying his idea.
"Simple. We do this. One, two, three, go!" The male grabbed Dawn's hand, dove under the water with her, then swam up to the surface at full speed, splashing out of the water and flinging Dawn up into the air, with blasts of wind propelling her form up and up and up until she reached above the deck of the ship and onto it. How she landed, though, was up to her.
The male then dove down himself, and swam back up, his 'wind', taking the form of a current in the water, pushing him faster, and then he broke the surface, flying up with gusts of wind, till he was in the air above the deck, flipping down, and landing in a flash of light as he was suddenly clothed and with legs. "You okay, there, Dawn?"

Sayrike::The Black Pearl::Shipwreck Cove Slight relief settled into Sayrike, lowering her shoulders and relaxing her body a bit. She could still hear the hint of restrain in his voice and caught the slight tension in his features before shaking his head and saying it was all right, but...still, Sayrike knew it wasn't all right. As Louis formed a blindfold (of sorts), the young woman tried to keep from contorting her features into a look of guilt. He was right. There was no way they could have known what was going to happen, and there was nothing she could do at the moment to help--- "...just let me hold onto you for a bit..."Sayrike was taken aback. She hadn't expected Louis to humble himself like that; she just assumed that he would have resorted to following her voice as she verbally cautioned him against any steps or inclines and described the scenery, preferring to rely only on himself. But, then again, she hadn't known him very long...maybe he was less prideful---no, that wasn't the right word, maybe aloof, or formal, or stoic?---than she originally thought. Glancing over at Kyle, Sayrike considered that maybe not everyone on this ship refused help from others. Was Louis willing to reach out to her? Should she be honored by this allowance? Still, his hesitation and discomfort with the idea of holding her hand was quite apparent, and Sayrike did not know whether to grasp the proffered limb or not. She wasn't one to involve herself in much physical contact either...especially with guys she didn't know. And, well, err...not that she would ever admit it aloud, but it was such a forward gesture...She kept from blushing. Not being from Earth, Sayrike wondered if Louis' customs also included hand-holding among couples. Well, the Final Fantasy games were based around Earth-influenced cultures and inspirations, so she halfway assumed so. Oh jeez, this was making things more complicated. All she needed was the cheesy sweet violin music and falling flower petals, and this would be a "Sayrike x Louis" moment. She really hoped that she hadn't become a video game character and this was going to spawn a flurry of fanfic somewhere in a meta narrative. Sayrike's hand had made it halfway to Louis' own, hesitating. She could feel the heat radiating off of his palm and the tremors in air from the shake of his muscles. It had been mere seconds since he offered his hand, and yet it still felt like forever. F--- it. Before giving it another thought, she quickly (but gently) closed the distance between their fingers. She was going to be there for him until he got that confidence back. ( That was the word I was looking for! Not prideful or aloof, but self-assured.) Sayrike gave a small smile and said softly, "Don't worry, you won't be a bother. And you'll find your foothold soon enough, as well as some way to light the darkness. I'll make sure of it." With that, she began to lead the way off the ship.

[ Ivan Ooze ; Lugae ; Zexion ; James ; Ajora : Hawaii : Lugae's Laboratory ]
"Well, not that you all haven't been ever so entertaining-" Ajora began with a rather exasperated groan, stretching his arms behind his back.
"Lugae!" came a shout outside the large laboratory; shortly afterward, Ivan Ooze came waltzing in, looking more than a little frustrated. He raised his eyebrows when he noticed a large gathering, none of whom were the Doctor. "Where is that bumbling oaf, and who in the blazes are you?"
"Allies, Lord Ooze," Zexion responded, still tinkering away at the computers. "And Doctor Lugae should return in just a few moments, he was in the machine bay-"
"I'm here, my Lord!" Dr. Lugae shouted, entering from a side door, his frail frame looking blackened in areas, as though he'd been through a number of small fires or explosions. "What s-seems to be the issue?"
Ooze's frustration had dwindled slightly from Zexion's response and Lugae's entrance. At least the worms knew their place. "How comes the Giant? That gnat Ghis just called in, said he'd be here within the next thirty minutes!"
"I've just finished fusing the two older zords to its frame, my Lord-"
"Ghis? As in, Judge Magister Ghis of Arcadia?" Ajora interrupted, his face having stonewalled at the mention of the name.
"Yes, that mangy human fellow- go on, Lugae, is it ready or not?!" Ooze snapped, glaring at Ajora for a moment before turning his attention back to the Doctor.
"Fully functional!" he responded, managing a toothy grin as he did so, seeming all too proud. "By the time the Rangers arrive, the island will be wrought to nothing!"
"Wonderful! Bring me to it!" he shouted, walking past the Doctor and toward the machine bay. As he passed Lugae, the Doctor's appeasing smile immediately faded into a scowl as he turned around to follow.
"Well, would you look at the time!" Ajora said, lifting his arm to look at a watch that didn't exist. "I really should get going- Nicholas, coming along, dear?"
The Replica opened a Corridor of Darkness, which James soon entered; Ajora stepped in half-way, turning to look at Nicholas with a raised brow.

[Nick :: Hawaii :: Lugae's Lab]
Nick raised a brow as Ivan Ooze showed up, complaining about the lack of a certain doctor. The doctor appeared from wherever he's been, covered in what seemed to be soot from various explosive experiments. Or something. Not really any of Nick's business, anyways.
However, his face paled slightly as Ajora froze at the mention of Judge Magister Ghis of Arcadia. Which didn't bode well, seeing as Nick had no idea who he was and if Ajora was seemingly emotionless about this guy, the Dark Knight should be full out panicking about now. He nodded as Ajora opened a corridor, moving towards it as fast as he could without looking like a nervous ninny.
"Of course, darling. Let us be off on a magical journey~" he stated in a whimsical tone before vanishing into the Darkness.
[Quistis :: Caribbean Sea :: Black Pearl]
Quistis emerged from below deck, her face in a state of pure confusion. She brushed off her shirt and gave a look to the group around.
"...Well, that was an interesting adventure below deck."

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Black Pearl]
Dawn blinked at Joe's sudden smirk. She didn't have a chance to ask what he was thinking before he suddenly pulled her under water. Dawn asked in almost a whine as he soon turned around and surfaced, then he threw her into the air.
"Aaaah!" Dawn yelled as she flew through the air, "Jooooe, why?"
As she sailed the air, her fin disappeared and her legs returned. That solved one problem. The problem now was landing. As Dawn moved through the air, she worked to use her own wind magic to help and steady her heading. She ended up landing on her feet, just before she would of making contact with the main mast, or Kyle for that matter.
Dawn gave a look at Joe that was the mix between a glare and a pout, "Do you have to ask?" she asked.

{Barbossa : Shipwreck Cove : Docks -> En route to Meeting Room}
Barbossa looked around the all too familiar cove, recalling the routes to the different parts of the fortress clearly, as if he had been there very recently. His attention turned to Elizabeth as she spoke to him.
"I imagine they be expectin' us now, we should be heading there," he stated, looking back onto the deck of the ship to find Jack. "Jack! we need to be going now! Master Gibbs! Show the crew around and keep 'em out of trouble."
He then turned and began to walk away from the docks, heading deeper into the fortress heading toward the large meeting room where the Brethren Court would convene.

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Black Pearl's Deck]
Dawn glared more at Joe at his simple answer. "You suck," Dawn mumbled with a sigh as she soon fell to her knees looking to absolutely exhausted.
"I swear, I am going to die in this unholy place. And not because of the heartless...." she continued as she held her head shaking it, looking absolutely pathetic, "I should of listened to Garuda and stayed on the train..."

[[Well, it's been almost a week, so I'm just gonna go ahead and say everyone followed.]]
[ Riku ; Seymour ; Cloud ; Alien Police : Hawaii : Beach ]
"I would advise against saying such things," Seymour said beside Quina after its comment about eating the councilwoman. "To suggest eating someone would likely get you executed or imprisoned. Best not to talk, little one."
Riku was all-too-happy for Seymour's response to the strange creature that had showed up. Who was it, anyway? It wasn't a Heartless, and it didn't give off any sort of negative vibes. It was just... weird.
"I never saw your mouse-king personally," the commander responded to Kyle, warily eying Quina over his shoulder before continuing forward. "However, he visited the Council a few days ago, promising reinforcements in the form of a fleet of airships to counter the increasing pirate raids. Then he took off again."
Shortly after saying that, Stitch latched onto his head; without hesitation, the large lizard-humanoid grabbed the blue creature by the scruff of its neck and tossed it off to the side, grumbling something about a 'lucky little punk'.
By now, the large group had made their way into the village, and they seemed to be heading toward a region of thick trees just on the other side of the buildings. As they neared it, they would have seen a number of small, sports-car shaped fighters zoom into the forest and not come back out.
"Airships?" Riku repeated, narrowing his eyes at the officer before turning to Bobbi. Hadn't the girl mentioned, back in Angel Grove, a growing army...?
Mickey... what's going on? You usually keep me up to date...

[Dani :: Hawaii :: Beach]
“Bobbi is there something wrong?” Dani said as she watched Bobbi’s smile turn into a frown. She really did not want to see her friend upset at the moment. Dani hesitantly put her hand on Bobbi’s shoulder as they walked together, so that Bobbi knew she was there to talk.
Dani quickly looked behind her and noticed that Demyx had joined this long walk to the alien headquarters and giggled a little. “I really hope I get to learn some water things from Demyx someday.” Dani thought to herself.
Dani then decided to listen to the alien police carefully as he explained what he knew about King Mickey. “Just like King Mickey.” Dani said sarcastically “He tells people what happens and then flees the coop. Some King he is. I also don’t remember King Mickey mentioning airships before besides what Bobbi said about an army.”
[Stitch :: Hawaii : Beach]
Stitch quickly landed on all fours as he was tossed lightly by the alien police. He even decided to growl at his light abuse. “Meega nala kweesta” Stitch shouted at the alien police before crawling fast back to the group.
Stitch then decided that he did not want to walk anymore and went behind the man with the top hat. Stitch then crawled right up his back and sat on the top hat and smirked. Hopefully this guy wouldn’t throw him off like the stupid policeman.
[NOTE: Meega nala kweesta is a naughty/threatening phrase used for alien language. It actually made some of the aliens faint when it was repeated in the movie. Not sure of the ACTUAL meaning but that is the general meaning]
