@ Unspoken Word - It's good to see you. Come back soon and often.
@ x-lilmissNINJA-x - Welcome. It's good to see you too. I never knew about lucid dreams. How did you learn to do it? Hehe I want delicious jellyphants in my dreams. I'll put it on a 3x5 index card and put it under my pillow tonight to help it manifest.
@ Giesta - Hi buddy, it's good to see you too. You do lucid dreams too? Cool. I'd love to dream the Dukes of Hazard at will, like you did. Not only the cool car, The General Lee, but also Daisy Duke. Hope that doesn't sound too oinky but she's amazing.
All three of you -- awesome avis.

Harvey, I think it kinda varies from person to person. I didnt know it was actually a real thing "Lucid Dreams" I though that name was used for really odd dreams.
The stuff to do with Lucid Dreams is more like in my opinion like being able to change or control what you dream and change the dream if it is a bad one or one not that interesting.
I admit I have my share of dreams I changed to meet a nice lady, once I had a dream I wanted to meet a person so bad I was in a dream and said in a shout "I want to see __________" and I was able to meet her.
But now it makes since, in the dream I was in a car and it seemed to be my car I drive now (91' Pontiac) but it was able to do things like the General Lee could, far faster and able to move in tight places and cops were caseing me but I was doing dounuts and jumping things like in the series of shows.
I was just being chased in the dream and then it was like "I wish I had a better car???" and then my car seemed to get the ability to do things like a much better and faster car. ^8^

I'm in awe of your ability to interact with your dreams to improve the story and make it more to your liking. Now that I know it's possible I may try dreaming of someone in particular. The two challenges are (1) thinking who I want in a dream and (2) getting enough sleep so I actually dream. There's an old sci fi short story, maybe by Isaac Isimov, where the guy dreams something and it comes true. Have you seen it? Now popped into my mind "What Dreams May Come." But that's a movie I think. Edit: Yup, a 1998 movie about life after life experience. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120889/

Thx, I still cant really actually control it par-say, sometimes when I really need it my mind seems to let me do things and then other times its like it has its own way in the dream and nothing I do will change it.
It is neat and does lead to some very werid dreams I admit, I even got over my fear of swimming in a dream. ^8^
I have heard of it I may have even read that book but it must have been a while back because I only remember very little about what he does when things starte to happen like in his dreams. 3nodding

Whew I must be very sleep deprived. After sleeping almost 10 hours I still didn't dream. Of if I did I don't remember it.
There's another interesting thing to do with dreams. I was told it's called Senoi Dreamwork.
1. When you wake up, you re-tell the dream story in present tense, preferably to another person, who is encouraging by asking, and then what happened" and "how did you feel when that happened." For instance, say, "I'm walking down a road and I see someone in the distance. I feel apprehensive."
2. Then you ask the major element in the dream for a gift. In the example, you could ask the road for a gift. Or the someone in the distance.
3. If there's difficulty getting the gift, offer a gift to the dream. For instance, offer the stranger acceptance, and see if then you get a gift.
4. Whatever the gift is, draw it or sculpt it or make it in some way and carry it with you. It's your power object.
I haven't done that process for a while. It's amazing I can even remember it. I learned it at a class at a community center taught by a dude who also teaches at Duke Medical School.

Wow, that dream sounds scary. Do you feel swamped? Feel like you're drowning in responsibility? Who doesn't from time to time.

Both of my parents where there, and it was like I may have been a baby or small child. I didnt feel scared but then again I couldnt talk, and I was being raised and lowered into the water and at the last as I was not able to breath I was being raised to the surface of the water and woke up.
I know, I have a feeling something is weighting on my mind either a responsiblity or about one of my parents the one who had me in the water.

Your dreams are interesting. I see you made a dream log thread. I don't have time to read it today. I'm looking forward to checking it out this weekend.
I hope whatever is going on with you and the parent holding you under water gets cleared up soon. The dunking sounds like baptism. Some churches do full body dunking. Mormons for sure cause I saw one.

Thx, I am adding two dreams today to my Dream Log. I woe up and went to sleep twice.
I know it may end-up being that that the dunking is a sign of some sort of making-up that parent may be doing with me in the future. The dream itself is odd that I didnt feel scared at all during the entire dream.

You're getting two dreams a night and I'm still getting zero. I'm looking forward to reading your dream log this weekend.
Let's hope you're right, that the dunking dream predicts something good for the future.
