Well, Austin, I can understand the blow to your pride with the loss-win/death.
And perhaps by consquences, Vin simply means he'll have to recover from the fact that his brain was turned into a pin-cushion, and establish a new grasp on having a second chance at life.
Perhaps the ability wasn't vague and was actually accepted and clarified and filtered and whatnot, and he was warned about the potentials it provided for disqualification through misuse.
And maybe you just got unlucky by getting matched against him. Maybe it was his intention to kill his opponent in the first round and get himself disqualified, regardless of who it was.
Some, twisted concept of proving a point? No pun intended.

Eh. The blow to my pride comes from the fact that this is an exact repeat of my first round in this tournament for three years now. I fight some of the most absurd s**t ever.
Two years ago was a shadow ninja who could create a hand of darkness that was powerful enough to throw a 1200 lbs ogre three miles. Last year was the same guy playing a super saiyan sixteen vampire with titanium skin who worked for god and could walk thirty miles an hour.
And this year, I get this. How does this s**t get through, seriously?

My greatest regret is not trying to pile more absurd s**t onto KB's character sheet.

Wow, sounds whack. I'm sorry to hear all that, Striker.
Maybe it's your destiny in this tournament to weed out the low-brow characters early on.
EDIT:
This is fail -> "a super saiyan sixteen vampire with titanium skin who worked for god and could walk thirty miles an hour"
'Nuff said.

Haelstrom has seen the PMs from the guy when he explained it.

Striker Nightmare Well, apparently, Vintrict's post claimed that while Vince would be resurrected in full, he would have consequences for being slain. At that point, there was really no ********' choice. War-hammer characters like that shouldn't be accepted, especially if the abilities in the profile were vague enough to give him the ability to instantly spawn three foot long spikes of bone which were stronger than industrial steel and couldn't be broken. Those were triggered every time I looked at him funny. So I couldn't even scratch him; at all. If that's not some form of god-modding or over-abuse of a given character ability, I'm not sure what is. Lol, bone growing and s**t like that has nothing to do with Warhammer. That's straight outta Naruto. You shouldn't take anything that Favored does as indicative of Warhammer fluff, beyond the fact he sometimes has a Khorne rune in his signature.

I asked him yesterday, and every time his response was "He's a character from warhammer, he's supposed to be strong, herpderp!"

Actually, no, my character is a follower of Nurgle. I discussed the making of my character with Kroww, before I actually went through with it. My spiking, and s**t... Is from Abara.
You really shouldn't be complaining, and or ragging about me on this whole situation. Your little princess a**, got your way.

It's no different than Jak abusing Kharn and killing half of commerce a few years back. Rather than taking the interesting fluff elements and making balanced (but still powerful) characters, they take only the wankiest stuff and wank it. It happens with EVERY piece of fiction anyone draws inspiration/elements/etc. from.
Funnily enough, though, bone powers aren't one of them, unless he's trying to go for a controlled mutation deal - which wouldn't work due to the bones would grow in ways he couldn't fully control in such a brief period of time.
