Despite the sugary lollipop, and her long nap earlier in the day, Ajinaru found herself yawning widely. For a minute, she ignored it, but it came again.
"Uraaaaaa~" she yawned, putting a hand up to cover her mouth. She blinked, and a wave of sleepiness washed over her. "Hey, Arlen?" she said. "I'm really tired all the sudden. I think I'm gon' go to bed."

"Spaghetti and meatballs," Arlen said cheerfully before turning to Ajina. "Okay Miss Ajinaru. See you tomorrow."

She nodded, yawning again, and stood. She waved briefly, and shuffled towards the stairs. She almost tripped at the bottom of them, but caught herself and made it safely upstairs and to her room. She didn't bother changing, and just fell onto her bed with a soft 'thwump.' She was asleep in moments.

"Spaghetti and meatballs coming right up!" Lily announced, then waved goodnight to the girl before heading to the kitchen. A few sounds escaped not long after; it would seem that she'd dropped a pot, and a few muttered - and mild - curses filtered out into the main room.

Arlen watched Ajina go upstairs and frowned at the sounds from the kitchen. "Are you okay Miss Lily?" he asked, wondering if he should be helping her like when he helped with those sandwiches.

Lily poked her head out to smile at him, though it seemed a bit strained. "I'm fine... just smooshed my toe with a heavy pot. But it's alright... pasta is cooking now. You can come hang out in here with me if you want, since your friend left." she added with a nod.

"Okay," Arlen said, jumping off of the couch and scampering into the kitchen, pausing to throw away the stick to his lollipop.

River who was extremely angry an hour ago comes out, seeing as everyone was asleep and gone she figured she'd walk down stairs to be alone in the dark but alas someone was still up. "Hmmm.." she sounded Irritated and tried with what was in her to keep her calm, keep cool. It was failing miserably. Her face twisted in anger for a moment before she took a deep breath to calm herself down and sat down at the bar letting her hands fold. She would wait; if that went alright she'd later talk to who she wanted to talk to in the first place. "..." She watched and waited patient as she could possibly get.

Lily smiled down at him, then leaned back against the counter, watching him tenderly. "So... did you sleep okay last night?" she asked, wondering. "I know that sometimes snore and talk in my sleep... so if you'd rather have your own bed, I'm sure we could talk to Guan and work something out..."

Arlen shook his head, walking over close to Lily. "I like sleeping with you. Do you not want me to anymore?" he asked, looking up at her.

"That's not it at all." Lily murmured, closing the distance between them. Then she went to her knees and enfolded him in a tight, almost maternal or sisterly hug. "I like having you close." she admitted softly, trying to make sure he didn't feel bad, or like she didn't want him near her. "You make the bad dreams go away."

"You're welcome Arlen." Lily whispered, then kissed his temple before drawing back, eyes suspiciously misty. "Here... your pasta should be about done." she murmured, offering him a warm smile as she stood. "How hungry are you?"

Lily laughed softly, shaking her head. "Well, it looks like I made just about enough then." she teased. "I just have to finish up... why don't you go wait in a chair, alright? Is milk okay for a drink?"
